Food was good and value for money. Will recommend to friends
The oysters were cheap and none were "off". But I do suspect they came from a bag as is sometimes seen in supermarkets in Japan and were served in shells that didn't seem to belong to them, meaning not freshly shucked. No hint of adductor muscle scar on the inside of the shell. But I could be wrong. Go see for yourself perhaps? haha.
Oysters 1 for $1 really value for money :) We also tried their shiok maki and side dishes which were all value for money. Though the place is slightly smaller, recommended to book in advance.
A Japanese restaurant with a homely and cosy feel. The food is good, especially the fish and eels. Must try the sushi too. Prices reasonable too.
dishes was mixed up. I was there at 7pm but ended up waited for aleast 30 min for a few dishes in between. end my unpleasant meal at 8.45. while we saw others dishes got their dishes at one shot.
Oysters were fantastic! Food was fresh and good❤️ totally enjoyed!! Just that the parking behind was expensive. Per entry flat fee. It was $3.50 which I found ex for just an hour dinner.
Love the food. It is fresh and tasty.teru sushi offers a variety of value for money set lunch and different weekly offer.nice place to dine in
Fresh, yummy sashimi and juicy oysters @ $1 each. Cosy ambience and private rooms. Friendly staff. Great place for Japanese cuisine lovers. Shall visit again.
Great food Great food Great food Great food Great food Great foodGreat food Great food Great food Great food Great food Great food Nice nice
Went with 3 friends, had the oysters and ended up with diarrhea for 10 days. Perhaps a bad batch.
My first time there. Excellent food and service... the only area of improvement is that the menu can be improved as most of us did not find it very easy to refer to. Perhaps most pictures would help.
a great place to have good Japanese food for a reasonable price. Ample parking place although the parking is expensive. Good and attentive customer service.
The food is consistently good and fresh and the ordered food was delivered to the table fast. Service is good and the waitress was attentive in topping up our cups with tea and clearing the table fast when we finished the food.
Sashimi was fresh, oysters were very worth it. Food was worth the price and ambience was good too. Would definitely come back again in the future!
Thank you for the good and attentive service provided, food was of a good portion and fresh. Will definitely be back again! Thank you and Appreciate it!
Conveniently located, at a walking distance from Outram Park MRT, this place is quiet and conducive for an evening of conversation and good food. Shiok maki and pidan maki are popular here: I appreciate the infusion of local touches into their serving of Japanese food. However, raw oysters, at $1 each, are not very fresh and leave a unpleasant bitter aftertaste even if eaten with lemon
Oysters and sashimi are very fresh.... service attentive. Enjoyed the dinner overall. Didn't expect a Japanese restaurant at this quaint area of tiong bahru. Would go back again.
Good service and food ! Very friendly staffs , but would appreciate if staffs don’t speak loudly among themselves
The food is always so fresh and yummy. I like most is their oysters. They are so big and fresh and is $1 per pc. Great price! I have visited the restaurant many times with my hubby. Will drop by soon..
Oysters were very cheap at a dollar, fresh and juicy! The other food items were average, will recommend to order the shiok maki if you were having something else other than the oysters.
The $1 oyster is awesome. It's fresh and it's all day! Shiok maki was a good order too.
Service is good. Service attentive. Food a bit too salty. Good for large groups and family. Large variety of cuisine like teppanyaki omakase. Oyster fresh and 1 for $1.
Always there for oysters for weekday lunch. Today's service was a little disappointing. First we entered the restaurant with a strong fishy smell, and then some items were not delivered until 2 reminders. But, I will still go there, as the other times I went, the 2 issues did not occur.
The oyster is really cheap at $1 per piece. The shiok maki is fantastic as well! Thumbs up!! Would definitely go there again with my family and friends!!
Good experience however I feel abit stuffy in the restaurant. Would be better if the food portion is bigger as is considered abit small for sharing.
Food quality was good & staff were very attentive! Definitely coming back again for their $1 oysters. Really fresh oysters at affordable price. Their sashimi also comes in thick slices that are fresh & melts in the mouth.
Yummy oysters going for $1 per piece and their shiok maki was awesome as well!
went there for the $1 oysters, ordered other food like sushi and sashimi, everything i ate was very fresh, staffs were very friendly and polite, will visit again
Food choice is not much but the quality is good. Fresh sushi and succulent oyster. Location is nice and accessible. Service is good. Worth the visit
Chef Rocky has never failed to impress his guests with his culinary skills. Bringing teppanyaki to the next level. "customising" each dish to the taste of each individual taste buds
Foods are nice and fresh made upon order. Price are ok and reasonable especially for lunch sets. Staff are friendly Environment is like normal restaurant with minimum decorations.
Food is nice however the food servicing speed is kind of slow. Overall, its worth making the trip down and will definitely go down again.
pleasant dining environment with good jap food. Cheap oysters at $1/pc are fresh and plump but somehow lacking in flavour. Not all staff understands English.
Friendly staff and good Oysters! On the location, it is quiet and peaceful, small and cosy place, not too crowded, makes a good place for couples.
We ordered a sashimi platter, teru maki platter, oysters, fried rice and soba for 4 adults and 1 kid. The oysters were nice and cheap but the other dishes were overpriced, especially sashimi platter the fish cut was extremely thin.
The $1 per oyster promo is to die for! and the service was excellent. To bad they only open for limited time during the day as it only open from 12-2 PM during the day. Will come back for sure
Rather mediocre Japanese food. Ambience was ok, although the restaurant was pretty dark. Perhaps it was because of the online reviews that I had expected much more. But all in all a let down.
Oyster price is super cheap, but Hiroshima oyster contain a bit of metallic taste which somehow turn me off. The tenderloin and lamb is very good. Open air car park available behind restaurant.
The shiok maki is exactly that... shiok. One of two orders took a bit longer and needed some reminding. Good place for a small group meeting and conversation.
Not cheap but definitely awesome food. Best Maki I’ve ever had! The shiok maki and the teru maki is a must have! There’s a $1 oyster promo too.
