Teppanyaki chef Andy was hospitable and made good food recommendations. Overall service staff was attentive. The food was delicious and my guests and I enjoyed our dinner at Teru. Will go again.
Excellent food. Chef Steve was great in providing recommendations for seasonal food, sake and pairing. I will definitely be back to dine again. Thank you.
Food and ambience were good. Food took a while to come. But the $1 oysters promotion made up for everything. May come back again next time.
Food is awesome but service at times a little slow. But overall good experience!
Great place, the food is awesome although expensive! Go to the teppanyaki placeand ask the chef for the recommendations. The shiro maguro is also a great discovery
Brought my mum for lunch because she wanted sushi rolls. We ended up enjoy the Ika more. It was so delicious. Sashimi considered fresh too.
Nice quiet place, even on a Sunday to enjoy the great food. Mentaiko salmon was so nice that we ordered another plate of it. Even the $1 oyster is good.
nice food. good environment. reasonable priced. $1 per Oyster piece promotion is just great. Order half a dozen and ended ordering another half dozen more. Link Hotel Carpark is difficult to locate. Car Park entrance is in small road from Cap Inn (Zion Road towards Tiong Bahru )
Teru Sushi has always been awesome to me, I'm a frequent visitor of the place and food has always been perfect! the $1 oysters are so fresh and succulent you'll be coming back for more!! I absolutely love this place!
A quiet restaurant with decent food. This is one place I would definitely come back again! Highly recommended for individuals looking for somewhere with good food and nice ambience.
Super good food! We had the shiok maki, black pork (stir fried), butter cod, beef and premium sashimi... can't ask for more!!!! Crab steam egg was good!
Great food and nice, quiet ambience. The oysters were really value for money. Service was attentive throughout the meal. Will definitely return for more meals.
Fast and unassuming service. However service staff appeared to be more... relaxed? Lounging around or sitting having conversation amongst themselves. Well portioned food. Had their lunch sets so really nothing to complain for quality of food and service for the price paid. Well done.
$1 oysters are fresh and salmon tasted good! Great place for small gatherings too as ambient is pleasant. Service is pretty alright as well. Otherwise, prices there are quite steep.
The staffs are not friendly and the restaurant only opens at 12pm, does not allow the customer to go in to wait for 10 mins before opening. It is also a noisy place to discuss and dine at the same time.
wonderful and reasonable priced food will keep going there for the fresh sashmi and etc
Sushi was really good. We had the uni, salmon aburi, hotate sushi, and the shiok maki. The shiok maki was slightly too wet, but the others were really good. White fish carpaccio with truffle sauce was a very interesting and daring fusion dish. And of course, the $1.50 oysters were very fresh, and goes well with lemon juice and the sauce on top. We don't even need the tabasco. Service was good - my tea cup was never empty because the wait staff was very conscientious in refilling it. Price-wise, let's just say you cannot come to Teru expecting sushi chain prices.
Very fresh but serving just just a bit too small. But overall, the food is good and service is good too. One of the best so far I have eaten.
It was a really good shiok Maki. Looking forward to try other meals definitely. The price is on the expensive side though. But other than that, everything was good.
Superb oyster! Son tried raw oyster for the first time in his life & loved it! He ate 6! Nice quiet lunch on Sun. Food is not cheap but good enough quality.
I called to reconfirm reservation and was told that oyster was not available but half an hour later, someone called me again to say that it has arrived hence that was excellent follow up service. Service at the restaurant was fast and quality of food was good but though we state that we were celebrating an occasion, there was no mentioned of that when we were there. I am not expecting any freebies or fuss but a simple wish would be nice. It is all about experience...
We tried the tofu, cha soba and shiok maki. The food was really good despite it being on the pricey side. Nice cosy ambience and this makes sense because there was a Japanese bar attached to the diner
food isn't that bad. but service crew forgot 2 orders.
Service ok. Oysters is fresh, pitan tofu good. Aji still got some scales when we eat. Foie gras, grillled pufferfish, shio maki and kurobuta pork not bad. Overall will return for the oysters and pitan tofu.
Nice ambience and awesome food! Especially love the TeruMaki and chawamushi. Not a fan of raw food but my friends simply loves the fresh oyster. Fat & juicy and worth the value was their comment on it.
Service was good despite it was a crowded evening. The quality of their food is no doubt awesome and the promotion for their oysters are the killers! I will definitely go back again~
Other than the oysters which were on promotion, the other food items were too pricey with small portions. Service, however, was very good and prompt.
The $1 oyster promotion is simply fabulous!!!! Oysters were fresh, juicy and plump. Great service too, the staff was super attentive and kept refilling our cups with green tea.
Food there was nice and fresh. Don't miss out on the$1.50 promo per oyster promo. Overall was a great dining experience will intro more friends there.
First time to this place, the oysters are fresh and the sushi are nice. The waitress are attentive. The price is reasonable as the food is delicious. Will come back again.
The sushi was great, will definitely be back! The service was okay but we sat at a corner so they missed us quite a few times.
Oysters were great! Shiok maki was amazing! We ordered an extra 4 (half a Maki) after finishing the full maki within minutes. Staff were very attentive and helpful in refills of water and green tea. Pleasant dining experience with my fiance.
Expensive, food was normal. the only thing special was the chirashi don which has the sashimi cut into cubes. oyster was fresh but small. service was attentive. overall not worth the price though.
Was there for lunch..the quality of food was great though the variety could be expanded...service in terms of attentiveness was lacking -> food orders made were easily forgotten
The quality of sushi have dropped. Presentation and taste of sushi is subpar. Oyster is small and expensive. Will not return at such a prices and quality.
The ambience wasn't that fantastic. After 7pm, the crowds came slowly to fill up the restaurant. The service was ok only as the service crew weren't attentive to customers. At times we have to wave at them to clear the table each time; as the seat allocated to us was at the corner and the table was a small square table!!! The food was just ok and palatable. There's nothing impressive in the menu coz we been to some fabulous restaurants before. But the price for the food are on the high side and quite a few aren't justifiable! We thought one thing they did right was the Canadian oysters @ $1.50/pc. That was good and glad that we ordered a dozen! The drinks list wasn't appealing; we had no other options besides wines but to choose tea! Coz basically their drinks list are sky high prices! We didn't proceed to the dessert after our main course as we found the place too pricey for a restaurant like this. In short, if one is seeking for a cozy and quiet (come early before 6.30pm) environment then this maybe the answer of a hideaway where one can dine and have a decent conversation over meals. And if one's pocket is deep enough then pricing shouldn't be an issue; the pricing on the menu is nothing short of extravagance! But to say having quality food at affordable price; i dare not vouch for it! I think there are other better restaurants with better quality food at affordable pricing and with better quality service out in Singapore; that will keep customers coming back without regrets.
If you are here, always ask for their oyster promotion!! It's a must try! Must eat!! It is definitely A hidden gem down south at Tiong Bahru.
Excellent environment/ambience with fast and efficient helpful staff. Brought my friends over for drinks and oyster and didn't disappoint me with the service. Keep it up teru!
As always great food and service. will bring more friends along next time
Nice food and environment. Oyster is currently on promo 1.50 per pcs and the salmon sashimi is very fresh. Would recommend my friends to go down if we are craving for Japanese Food .
Food is wonderful as usual you have to try it yourself to know the different
Service was good. Food was great. Love the ambience there too. Oyster only $1 per pc. How cool is that? Will go again definitely ;)
Had omakase at a very good deal. Worth your every single cents. They are very accommodative for my allergy too.
Most of the food was good but not the fried udon. Service was okay but tea will only be refilled when requested.
Price is reasonable for ala Carte! Sashimi is fresh! We ordered the eel rice too and was good! The set lunch is cheap and looks good although I did not order.
Food is good! Pricing is a little high. But we did enjoy ourselves with the freshness of oysters and had a great time! Thank you!
The oysters are cheap and the taste is a little bland. The sashimi is good and the cut is reasonable. The sake and fish cheek is excellent.
The staff were attentive and the food was good. The oysters were really cheap and I loved the pitan tofu. My hubby loved the shiok maki too. Will definitely revisit again. :)
Fresh food! Cheap oysters, salmon is a must try guys!
