Good food. The owner is very accommodating when we requested for a change of seat. Although they had problem with the aircon pipe that day causing certain area to be wet and flooded, it was an overall good experience
One of the best tradition Japanese restaurant found in Singapore.
Food was great but it is slightly on the pricey side. Can be quite hot as well sitting in front of the hot plate but this depends on personal preference.
Visiting the restaurant for the second time, the services provided never fails to keep me delighted. I've ordered the diy monjayaki, and had requested help from the staff to cook for me.
Food and service par excellence as usual. every minute and penny spent there resulted in satisfaction.
Great experience! Had a go at DIY okonomiyaki and monjayaki with the help of the staffs who were ready to guide you! Loved the experience and taste of it, reminds me when I ate them in Japan. The mentai cheese potato salad is very tasty and would make a great appetizer.
I like the teste, because more japanese teste compare with other Japanese restaurant.
Great food and service! Monjyaki is a must to order.
Delicious foods and good services. 2nd visits, will definitely come back again.
the food selection was extensive and it all tasted good!
First time here and we were pleased with the quality of the food, service and atmosphere. Will be going back again soon
This is my second visit. To me, izakaya is a place you go to eat and drink — but primarily to drink then eat. The food, no matter how delicious, is a fringe benefit but not the main point of the experience. I had the okonomiyaki seafood (staff was kind to explain difference between okonomiyaki and monjyayaki). If you are unfamiliar, you can get the staff to help you grill it on top of the teppan. Other additions I ordered, like the cheese tofu, yaki gyoza were equally delicious. Take note, service can be a little lackluster when it gets crowded and your hair would probably smell like a grilled squid if you are seated at the teppan. For now, this is my go to place after work for a couple of beers and good unpretentious food.
Really good garlic chahan and sushi. Sitting by the river is cool too.
Food all taste fantastic but do note the portions here are not for people to "binge" but rather to mingle and have fun more than being full from food. Would still consider coming back again but more for smaller group than the big group.
Great authentic spot for monja and okonomiyaki. Side dishes were great too.
Great place with kids - and very very good service
The best Japnese restaurant in SG indeed!! I will definitely visit again soon
The cooking was slow and we always have to call the service staff to come in to check. Overall, it is a very good Japanese restaurant.
The food is good and cooked with care. The service is very good.
