Great service. Was disappointed that there was no oyster, but the manager did a superb job with service recovery. Overall great experience with their service and quality of food.
Great value for money, nice ambience and interesting spread. However food can run out pretty quickly towards the later part of the meal. Will require faster replenishment.
Great buffet selection, prompt service n nice deco! Caters for small and big dining groups, suitable for couples, corporate or family & friends events. Has alfresco & indoor seating too.
Good food and variety plenty of fresh seafood with a live tempura and sashimi station. Good value for money and a nice place for large groups. Try the laksa
Had buffet lunch for two early this week; at promotion of 1 for 1 after ++ price came up to $34 a pax. Price is good for two but without promo, it may be slightly high at $68 per head. The spread was not particularly wide, but quality was good - fresh and tasty. Roost beef was tough even though cooked rare. Service was attentive without being overbearing. Will come again when on promo. Also recommended to some friends too.
The cooked food was only of average quality. The beef, lamb and fish were dry and tough. There were very limted buffet dishes to choose from. Only the raw seafood like oysters and the cold cooked prawns were good. The service was not very good. No waiters to clear your plates. Table was very small. Have to keep calling them to clear the plates. No water poured for you. Have to keep asking them for water. Have been to other hotel restaurants with much more better service. Overall, not worth the money. Would not be going again. Disappointed at a 5 star hotel restaurant with such service and food quality. Totally not worth it with or without any discount. Price was steep with such food and service. Expected much more better food quality and service for paying such a steep price. There are so many more better place with better food and service out there. My family did not enjoy our mothers day buffet there at all. Bad experience.
The waitress took some time to locate our reservation. The manager and waitress at the entrance openly showed their anxiety while assigning seats and spoke impatiently with each other, which made them look really unprofessional. Even though it wasnt crowded, the waitress/manager messed up the seating - after we were assigned a table and went to get our food, we came back only to find that our table was taken by 2 new customers. Seafood was good with fresh oysters, snow shell crab and lobsters, although lobsters ran out by 8.30pm and werent refilled thereafter. Non seafood lovers may not have anything much to eat as non seafood dishes tasted so-so.
The food choice is not much, as seafood is only crab and prawns is good, in roasted section roast beef and lamp are acceptable. Dessert is good. Price conside too expensive. As for kids to diner there should be free for age 11yrs and below, for kids to pay $37.00 is too expensive not worth the money and no food for kids to enjoy...
Food is just normal, the only interesting is the old school snacks available. We had the Indian Rojak, but they over fried them.. and the food is as hard as a stone.. maybe the chefs has to take note of the temperature of the oil etc. The reviews given was very good, but after trying, I find that they are not true.. not sure is it prepared by different chefs or different time?
Seafood (salmon sashimi, prawns, oysters, crab legs etc) was very fresh, but the rest of the selection was slightly limited. Think a bigger variety of cooked food would be good. My favourite were the cheese-stuffed jalapeños! Must try!
