L’Entrecôte The Steak and Fries Bistro

The doneness of the beef can be improved. Read from a food blog that they served a little rarer, so I ordered medium but I got medium well instead. Kinda disappointed because the steak didn’t rest enough and after slicing, the meat texture became drier than it looks.

Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, food is excellent too! Only uncomfortable issue is that the tables are placed too close together and we couldn't hear ourselves because the table beside is talking loudly.

Atmosphere was great, food was awesome. Service was very prompt and quick too

I hv been a regular customer but lately the portion size has reduced and the meat is tough. Not sure I will go back again.

Amazing restaurant! Deffinatly would recommend if you enjoy a good steak! Lovely touches like glass of wine when you get in, and unlimited chips French onion soup too is a must

Taste not good. Unkind staffs sauce is not good. Only fries good. I never recommend this restaurant. No longer eating this place in my life.

Authentic and delicious french food. Large choice of good wines. Perfect service. Friendly staff. Nice place, very well decorated, ideal for a date with your partner ! As a french, I definitely recommend this restaurant.

I didn’t enjoy the steak which is smothered in a thick sauce which is slightly sour. The starters are good though, especially the bone marrow and foie gras terrine.

We enjoyed the main course very much and were pleasantly surprised to be given some extra of the delicious steak midway through our meal :) prompt service and welcoming!

Quite average at best. Nice starters - pork terrine and endive salad. My wife’s steak was reasonable quality, mine was tough and undercooked - asked for rare came out raw. Steak smothered in sauce which wasn’t particularly nice - quite sharp and vinegary. No mayonnaise to go on frites which might not be everyone’s taste, but I expect them to have it if requested otherwise masses of frites very dry. Wine by glass - no choice just red white or rose, quality again average at best. Overall quite disappointing. If you only have one item on the menu it needs to be exceptional - this unfortunately wasn’t.

There's not much choices for main menu. this restaurant has only one main dish. it was very disappointed... the onlt thing i liked there was dessert. more choices than main dish.

Seats were very close and squeezy, restaurant was extremely noisy (traps noise inside). Food is not fantastic, mediocre at best. Menu offerings were not extensive.

Food was amazing (the sauce!!) and staff were friendly and polite. Ambience was nice, (loved the french music in the background). My only complain would be the seating arrangements. Tables are UNCOMFORTABLY close to each other, such that there is barely space to put down your belongings and impossible to hold a private conversation. Overall still a great experience, the only reason i would be back is for the food which was really good for the price.

Ambience was good, overall atmosphere was quiet and good for a quiet evening. However, the tables were a little too close to one another, so you don't get much privacy, and makes entering and exiting difficult. The steak was well cooked, and sauce complimented the dish well.

Really nice steak, great service and a super cozy atmosphere. An extra plus is the free flow of sauce and fries - we’ll definite recommend for a cozy night with a very affordable dinner.

Lovely atmosphere and great food. Can be a little close quarters, so if you want a private conversation, choosing one of the side tables is a good plan. Always appreciate the kir royale upon arrival - a really nice touch. Will definitely be coming back again.

Great ambiance and service. Very nice wines and the food was excellent. The main course is steak and fries only but variety of appetisers and desserts.

The fries were really good and the steak was tender. The sauce accompanying it was great. Especially liked the house signature dessert but i felt that vanilla ice cream would be a better flavour to go with the salted caramel lava cake.

Good and affordable steak! Loved the free flow of fries, definitely coming back again. Warm and pretty ambiance, very attentive staff, will recommend to close peers.

Enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The starters were great and the main course was deicious and a generous portion. Very good desserts too. Overall, very good.

Wait staff was a little short handed. We ordered a 2-person set meal, and it was served on a single plate for us to dish out on individual small side plates. Food in general was ok, although it used to be better. Bread was tough and wasn’t served with butter and olive oil / vinegar like they used to before. I think a restaurant with such reputation should consider better service overall.

Food consistent. Service non existant. Waiters busier at chatting together rather than attending customers. Had to step up twice amd search for someone to attend us, while the restaurant had only a few patrons.

Service is friendly and professional. Resturant is cosy with warm vibe. The food is served relatively quickly and is good value. A great place to chill out.

Steak is reliably tasty. Not bad value given that it includes unlimited fries and a salad. Profiteroles were terrible. Pastry needed to be fresher/warmed. And hot chocolate sauce needed to be much better quality, grim chocolate syrup just about ruined the end to an otherwise good experience.

Too squeeze and also too noisy. The steak was okay. However when I heard is two portions, I was expecting 2 portions of the same size. Also, the second portion came too early. I would like to compliment for their well fried fries though.

We loved the atmosphere, the service and especially the food. Steak was amazing, fries were super crispy, just how we like them. We also enjoyed the house red wine. We had a great evening.

It has 1 of the best steak in town. Their sauce is very flavourful.. the service is gd too.. really nothing to fault them.. to me.. their price is reasonable & acceptable for the quality..

The steak was nicely done with free flow fries. However, the restaurant was a bit small and we were really close to the next table so it can be a little distracting for people who is trying to have a nice and quiet meal. Staff are very attentive and friendly.

Went on a friday night, had the steakfrites and a carafe of white wine. Found it to be a great place with friendly staff. WIll come again.

good as the olden days.. good service as always...arrived earlier and managed to get the table. we had the l'entrecote steak which on generous serving, scrumptious, perfect done-ness as always.. as french bistro set up it can be quite squeezy...

Free flow fries! They taste great and would be heavenly for big appetites. Steaks are acceptable for price paid. Had expected more though, therefore a little disappointed. Tables indoor are so close to each other that it made us uncomfortable. The al-fresco seatings were much better.

Great food! Good service! Really enjoyed the food - steak was cooked perfectly! Fries were good, as well. Will definitely be going back again! Highly recommend!

Amazing food, great service in a cosy French style setting - the real deal

I just can’t get enough of this place - great food, service and great value for money.

Doneness of the steak was on point and we love the 2nd serving concept. Salad was bland but the complimentary wine was lovely. Table spacing were too cramped though.

Staff was very friendly, and the food was exceptional. Unfortunately, the ambiance was pretty noisy, but overall, quite a good experience, and we had a good dinner.
