It all began for L'Entrecôte with one singular offering: a main menu consisting of only one dish, an entrecote steak served with a jealously guarded secret sauce that quickly gained fame for its brilliant flavour and, well, its singularity. On the strength of that steak, L'Entrecôte The Steak & Fries Bistro has only gone from strength to strength in its home in Singapore’s Duxton Hill. Centred around this award-winning steak, this is the ideal choice for relaxing, feasting and treating yourself to an unforgettable meal in chic surroundings. Located in Tanjong Pagar, this is one French restaurant not to be missed.

It had been sooooo long that I didn't have a piece of meat cooked to perfection (for once, when you ask for rare, you get it rare) with high quality meat (no fiber, tendon, chewy stuff. Just good juicy meat).
The experience with the restaurant was good. Our only issue with the restaurant was that the wagyu isn’t up to our expectation. Not as tender as expected.
Test the mettle of L'Entrecôte The Steak & Fries Bistro’s expert chefs by ordering up your weight in delectable French cuisine. This Tanjong Pagar spot is all about about entrecote. This humble steak kickstarted this Duxton Hill restaurant straight to the top of the foodie list in Singapore, and it hasn’t looked back since. The hardest part of your experience at L'Entrecôte The Steak & Fries Bistro will be selecting which starters and desserts you’re to feast on. Our picks? Keep your eyes peeled for the homemade foie gras terrine with sugar-glazed onions and buttery sourdough, escargots de Bourgogne prepared lavishly with butter and garlic and the ever-delicious, duck rillettes with crunchy, pickled gherkins and more of that mouthwatering buttery sourdough, sourced from Do.Main.
For your main, the choice is entrecote steak like you’ve never tasted it before. It consists of the steak accompanied by the secret sauce that’s made L'Entrecôte The Steak & Fries Bistro so famous, cripsy golden fries, and a glass of L'Entrecôte matched wine. Round this off with desserts that won’t permit you to leave this charming Duxton Hill cafe-bistro until every crumb of creamed sugar has been eaten. Think tarte tatin, old-fashioned crème caramel and aged brie cheese with black truffle. Bookings? Essential for this special French restaurant in Singapore’s Tanjong Pagar.
