Salmon ikura don was yummy. They're a kid friendly place and my baby spent the lunch sitting comfortably beside me on the sofa. Tea by the pot was really fragrant. I took the rooiboos tea.

value set meals (2 pax), inc. the option of 375gm steak! excellent variety. super good value $6++ cocktails and wines during happy hour. we had: trio of starters + soup; 375gm steak; uni + caviar risotto; 1 chocolate lava dessert. 78.80++ service is a bit too quick, but you can ask the servers to slow down the pace.

Truffle fries, awesome. Spicy Diablo Crab Pasta with prawns, awesome. Onsen egg carbonara, awesome. Service, fast and awesome. Ambience, awesome. Great place for casual dining for family and friends.

Nice place to dine in. Especially if you are couples.. very romantics and look elegant too. Staff are friendly and the food are very presentable

Good service and quality food. A suitable place for family and friends gathering. I like the desserts like matcha lava cake. However the grilled chicken can be better.

It was a cold rainy weekend. First up, I love the ambience of the place with cute "table activity cards". I guess the disappointment came when I realized the chicken was no longer part of the lunch menu because my friend introduced me to it. The ribeye bowl was not bad though. The sauce made it taste interesting but it could be quite "overpowering". Will possibly go again for the drinks though.

Overall is good! Will go again if there's chance! Please update the map in quandoo.. the location is old location and i spent at least half an hour finding the place!

Food was great and value for money. Especially the price of the first cocktail. Service staff were friendly and accommodating too. Though they forgot to serve the birthday cake, they called to apologize for it.

Had a birthday celebration with the fiance, staff surprised him with a cake. Didnt expect them to do it for him. Good service from the team.

I like Platypus Kitchen for its handmade pasta (although the menu seems to keep changing and it's a bit disorienting!), and the convenience that it affords as a good place for dinner when catching a show nearby at the Drama Centre.

Rib eye was good. Good atmosphere. Went for the four course for two people. Came to 100 sgd for two people including drinks. Good portions.

Brunch menu was value for money. Kitchen was also very accommodating to change part of the dish to be suitable for pregnant mum. Birthday surprise for friend was also pleasantly presented with a nice slice of cake. Thanks for the wonderful experience!

Good ambience and affordable dining options. Their $6 for first drinks are very appealing too! Would definitely recommend for customers how are looking for more affordable options and serve great food.

The staff were friendly and their service was great. The food was good and value for money. My friend and I specially like the molten lava cake.

ordered carbonara and Spicy Diablo Crab & Prawn Tagliolini. the egg taste was a tad too strong in the noodle. noodles taste special. generous about of crab meat. worth trying. nice ambiance for a date!

Great service, the staff was attentive. Food was decent as well. I had the garlic salmon aburi bowl which was quite delicious, though I felt that there could be more sauce added.

Ok food, quiet place, but very difficult to find the restaurant if you are driving there. I would consider going again if i need a quiet place for a lunch meeting

Went there with a group of 11pax. The restaurant arranged a large table for us. We ordered the Lunch Set which was value-for-money and the waiting time for the food is reasonable.

The Truffle Beef Rice was awesome, same for salmon confit. Lacking in some variety of food and cocktails but it is still a nice place to chill when other restaurants at bugis gets too crowded.

Great food. Some appetisers were served cold and overcooked but overall service was great. Sweet staff that sang a birthday song would l visit again? Definitely!

The food is nice and the services is very good. Is very good environment for party or celebration. The average price between 30 - 40 sgd. Free a slice of cake for the birthday month.

Restaurant ambience was great & staff was very attentive and friendly. We love their appetizer and dessert. Not so much on their mains. Perhaps we didn't order the right one.

Not bad. My suggestion is make sure the food are serve correctly to the right table. Because the food that we order are serve to other table and we saw the customer got touch on it also.

Food was great, ambience was great and service was prompt and helpful too. Very friendly as well. Staff came by and asked if everything was good or not and staff took initiative to refill water when needed, and without customers asking. Great place with affordable prices.

This is my second visit to Platypus Kitchen. Great food with affordable price. Comfortable and cosy environment for gathering and hang out. Definitely will go back for more.

The service was excellent, staff were responsive and polite. The food was very good and we enjoyed the variety of dishes. Atmosphere was good. Not many places can accommodate a table of 13 which was great for our group.

Second time visiting Platypus and the food is delicious, the waiting time for the food to be served is short. Serene environment and nice ambiance.

Didn't visit for quite a bit. The roasted chicken never disappointed me. Juicy and tender. I guess I should try on other dishes soon! Cheers!

brunch menu is value for money. food ad service are great. however, the free drinks that come along with the brunch menu can be better improved. free meal for kids under 7!

Great food. Wonderful ambiance. Had a kids menu and kids even eat for free on Sundays. Will definitely return again. A bit difficult to locate in Bugis junction though.

Food was average, service was good and food served was fast. We went for the 4 courses at meal. I like the Matcha Lava cake topping with ice cream. It was fresh. The cruscesean bowl tastes weird but with seasoning it was ok. The ribeye I ordered was a bit too raw but taste overall was ok.

Very good food. Great atmosphere. Especially loved the grilled chicken and ribeye and onsen egg rice. The pumpkin soup and losbter bisque were amazing too.

Great food! Flavourful, well-executed and full of quality ingredients. Cheap drinks at $6 for the first drink. The restaurant was very noisy though because the tables were packed very closely together.

The staff are very professional, very good. The drinks can be much better, too much ices becomes diluted. Drinks shouldn't have ices in the first place, it should be served cold or warm with its original taste. The steak wasn't melt in your mouth type. The texture wasn't consistence. For the price of your top notch wasn't worth. I am a steak eater, but wouldn't come back for such steak. The standard is of a hawker centre type. I am sorry. There was no asking of "what done" for the steak.

The restaurant went extra miles to surprised my bf with a birthday cake when I left a comment for corner seats as I wanted a quieter space to celebrate his birthday. Food was good as usual 👍🏻

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by the value for money of our meal which was the set lunch. The Chilli Crab Asain Buns was delicious as was the Spicy Diablo Crab and Prawn which was also very filling. The Bacon Larden Sorrentina was just so-so as was the Roasted Pumpkin soup. We enjoyed the dessert of Salted Caramel Lava Cake although the menu said it was Matcha Lava Cake. All in all, a satisfying meal. Not a romantic place for lunch as it was too noisy but maybe for dinner.

Perfect TGIF spot! Great for groups. Ambience and food was great too. Highlight would be $6 cocktail for your first drink! Will definitely be back again!
