Good food and great vibe! The chophouse beef was generous and the beef with truffle oil was yummy. The service staff were attentive and friendly.

Food was good esp the ribeye. Good risotto too. Angelhair pasta wasn't memorable. The dessert portion was good too. All food was served quickly and staff were generally responsive. But what a surprise when they replaced our truffle potato veloute with broccoli soup without informing us beforehand.

Great experience and nice food，good service，but the air con is a little cold. Price is fair as a nice restaurant，not crowded，music could be better haha

Value for money lunch set - soup/salad plus main course plus drink. Music was slightly on the loud side. But overall enjoyable lunch n good service. Will Come again.

Food is good as usual. Ambience is good, more conducive on a Tuesday with lesser crowd. But service from one of the wait staff was substandard, which is not usually the case there.

The food is above average to my taste. The ambience is good. The servicing crew is attentive and will refill your water or clear your plate when you are done. The price is above average. Overall, is a nice experience.

Food is not fantastic however the service is fast and efficient. The food for 2 comes in reasonably big portion. Dessert(chocolate lava cake) is delish.

Nice ambiance and generous serving sizes. However, I found the dining area a bit warm. The taste of the food was okay (I got the Salmon Quinoa bowl). My expectations were higher because it was such a nice place. I will still come back to try other menu items.

Went as a group of 9. Friends and I ordered both from the set menu and the ala cart menu. Would say that the food choices were great, and that the serving was enough. Taste wise, had nothing but good things to say. Service was a little slow initially, but as the dinner went on, it only got better. Will come again.

The environment is nice and the staff is friendly but the food should be further improve to gain more customer. Both the Risotto and tomato brasil pasta are salty.

We were there as a group of six friends. The atmosphere was pleasant and the menu was very interesting. Most of the food was very good, but just missed being great. Biggest concern was the service, which seemed very mixed up. We were misinformed about how many main dishes could be ordered in the set menu for two people, despite numerous efforts to clarify this. The flight of three wines didn't start coming out until after the main dishes were served, and the second of three wine glasses didn't come out until dessert (!). And they could not accommodate paying a bill with part cash, part credit card. Not a bad meal, but we probably won't be back,

Nice food and really awesome service! Great ambience as well. I enjoyed the garlic mushroom linguine a lot. I Will definitely be back for more.

Celebrated gf's lunch birthday at Platypus Kitchen on a Friday afternoon and the food and drinks were value for money. The sous-vide half chicken's skin was crispy and the meat was tender. I was spoiled for choices; they have so many housemade sauces and signature dishes but I'm glad that I went with honey truffle soy and garlic permesan mushrooms. Many thanks to the waitress for checking whether we want it to be thoroughly cook as we would have been turned off should there be blood on the bones. The sparkling mint lemonade was lovely to have after being out on a sunny Friday. The waitress serving our table was attentive with our orders and served the dish and drinks to the correct pax without needing to ask again who ordered them. A general suggestion would be to have the tables for two to be further apart from each other as they were too close side by side. As interesting the conversations were, I'm not particularly interested in the topics discussed by the folks on my left and to my right.

Good ambience and friendly staff. Food portion was huge and value for money. The matcha lava cake is legit. Served warm with a scoop of ice cream.

Nice ambience, the set dinner was value for money, really enjoyed the 3 glasses for $20 promo. As my group was big, we got the exclusive big table near the entrance. The staff was helpful & patient to explain & manage our order.

Good set menus. Ordered the flight drinks which had 3 glasses of wine for each course. The chilli cheese fries were particularly nice and filling.

The environment is nice and it is a kids friendly restaurant. I appreciate they have kids menu as well.

Food is good. The spicy wings is good, however the truffle fries is it that great. Couldn't taste the truffle. Service is ok. Abit slow. Good thing is that they gave me a birthday cake.

This is my 2nd times patronizing the restaurant and was always amazed at the food that was being served. The drinks that they came up with was also fantastic, will go again if ever have a chance again.

Restaurant was very busy on the Friday night. It was full house. Thus service was a bit slow but service still acceptable! Food was acceptable too.

Had a birthday celebration there... staff was friendly and the food was great... would be better if food can be served faster. Also, drinks provided for kid's meal could be of better choice.... iced drinks are not suitable... more variety would be great

We had a somewhat "private" area for 11pax. Food was okay. It was my 2nd visit to the restautant. I felt the place has reasonable pricing and food was okay. Overall still a good experience.

It's not my first visit to Platypus Kitchen. They consistently produce great food at good prices. But they are just under-staffed. Took a while before the staff were able to attend to tables/requests.

The food was average but the service was pretty decent. :) It had way too much carbs for the lunch set menu, maybe they can change it up a bit!

My very first experience at Platypus and the service completely blew me away. Staff took the initiative with my request of a cake and candle and delivered it at the right moment, perfect surprise executed! Thank you to the prompt and intuitive service that was rendered which made my evening a very pleasant one!

Food is always excellent when I eat here, at reasonable prices. Service is ok, atmosphere is good for couples or a small group of friends for drinks.

overall the foods, drinks, service and ambience are good. however the background music is abit too loud, difficult to have a nice chit-chat session with friends after the meal.

Nice ambience, great food, fast serving speed though the restaurant is packed. Their truffles fries are so good! Honey soy wings are a bit on the sweet side. I ordered ribeye and truffle bowl. The ribeye was succulent and the onsen egg nicely done. YUMMY! Will definitely return again!

Had the dinner set menu that day. The starters were good, come with 3 small portions of different food, i like the potato soup since it's very smooth. The star of the night was the beef! It was well done! (not literally) Ordered the medium rare. Like the rock salt and the sauce that blends well together with the beef. Great taste great value.

i like the central location and its near the shopping area. easy to find and great set lunch menu, the value exceed the price- like the salads!
