Platypus Cantina - Bugis

Have been to platypus a few times. As usual, the food was promptly served, and the service was good. Everything was fuss free and excellent!

We waited a really long time for our orders to even get taken. The service staff were not the most friendly and the food was quite average.

Cosy restaurant with great food for dining with friends or family. Set lunch offered was of a good value and I will come back again. Service was prompt too.

Food is good, fast service. A bit disappointed that the lobster roll is not in season. Overall the lobster bisque is pure heaven. Will be back again.

Nice ambience and attentive service. Good selection on the menu to suit different taste buds. The executive lunch set that I ordered included an interesting soup of the day (potato and leek), a choice of main (with vegetarian offering as a choice too) and a beverage.

Great restaurant and great service. Pasta tasted great and dessert was good too. Birthday day wishes as well for my gf Will definitely return there again soon

Food is satisfactory but not worth the price. Location and ambience is alright. Still worth a first visit and try out the 3 course dinner.

The molten lava cake (matcha) was a bit too sweet for me. It needs to have more of that bitter sweet matcha flavour, instead of just sugar to balance it. However I loved the promotion on the alcohol drinks, lots of variety to choose from and really funky creations. Not bad too

Server was attentive and ambience was good, albeit getting slightly noisy at around 8.30pm. Food was fantastic and portion size was sufficiently adequate. My guest and I enjoyed our evening.

Menu selections are limited, food is cold when served. The salmon that we ordered tasted very fishy. Location is easy to find and the service staff are friendly

Food is still as good. Just that the chili crab bun is changed to fried mantou for set dinner for 2. And it's not so nice. Quite disappointed.

Extremely attentive staff and nicely presented food. Husband pleased with his roast chicken, but sadly my truffle risotto proved a bit bland. Good offer on drinks and pleasant surroundings are to be mentioned.

Service was a bit erratic, but the staff are efficient and friendly. Meals were great and good size. Desserts let this restaurant down. The lava cake should be hot (lava is hot) and the doughnuts were bland. Still a great place to go.

Reasonable prices, good music, well run. Came in for brunch on Saturday, not too packed. Well lit with good views and nice simple interior decor.
