Les Bouchons Rive Gauche (Robertson Quay)

We like to go the restaurant for special occasions. The food is not cheap but it has high quality. We enjoy all the foods on the menu. The staff are generally friendly and helpful. But they stopped to serve free tap water and charge $3 per person for their in-house filtered water.

Food was good, however didn’t expect a different menu for Love Dining hence didn’t try many dishes in their main menu.

SGD 502.99 for two persons is quite a lot. So I cannot come too often

Location is more central than at Rochester outlet but seating was crammed up with tables very close to each other. Quite hot as well as at least one ceiling fan was not working. Water charged at $3++ per person (we ordered wine) is a bit much. Otherwise food was great.

Underrated gem! Their set lunches are value for money, and there is a wide range of wines available (we didn't try any as it was a midday meal and we had appointments afterwards, but definitely will return to try some tipple.) Highly recommend the ribeye for mains, and chocolate mousse as dessert.

My 2nd visit here and food is superb as usual! Never dissapoint, would love to come back again next time

Decent value steak place with a good ribeye. The sides however are terrible they only have french fries and creamed spinach. Nice casual alfresco dining area but the interior is cramped and small.

The tables are placed way too close together at the restaurant. The waitress couldn’t get the order straight, maybe she should have written the items down if she couldn’t remember. The set lunch seems to offer good value but My salmon was burnt on one side until that layer tasted bitter. And the sauce didn’t go well with it. The steak was average, we think it was much better quality before. We won’t be coming back.
