Great food, friendly service, would be happy to return for a third visit

The food was not up to the standard as I had seen on other online reviews. I wasn't asked for the doneness of the steak that I ordered, and it came almost well done which was strange. To their credit they took it back and didn't charge me, but I was disappointed that any restaurant would serve a close to well done steak even. Maybe it was just in my head, but the mentaiko spaghetti I had wasn't really what I expected too. It tasted more tomato like than umami mentaiko which was what I was expecting. The menu also said it would come with bacon but there was none, instead there were clams? Again to their credit they took it back and remade it. Overall the food quality was just OK to me. But this is just my personal taste.

Staff were very personable and can tell that they care a lot about their food and guests. Food was yummy and creative, but not straying too far from convention.

Thr service was amazing as the lady serving us very attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home. The food was great too, the seafood was fresh and they were generous with their main dishes. The grilled octopus is must-try!
