The food was good! Service not as prompt as HDL but quality of food was there. As pricey though. A bit cramp in terms of space.
My favorite steamboat in sg! Love the beef butter spicy soup base!
Overall the dining experience is good at this restaurant. The staffs serve you patiently! The mala soup based is the most recommended, must try when you give a visit.
Their Service is slow, even when there is no crowd
My favorite restaurant that I will go when I have craving for Mala Hotpot.
Very good service and food quality, will visit again when time permits.
Nice ambience. Food and services are good. Open until 6am.
Good service, good food. But would rather go to Haidilao for the the price paid ($45~ per pax). Overall still a good experience!
It was an overall enjoyable experience for a gathering with old friends. Food was good and there isnt a huge crowd in the restaurant, however, it would be better if the waiters and waitresses can be more attentive to the drinks and soup top up. We had to look for the waiters and waitresses a couple of times for the services.
Good, nice environment, reservation makes it much easier to dine
The steamboat broth is refreshing and the mochi with brown sugar sauce is a must try
Service was terrible here. Waitress did not seem like she knew what was going on, lack of explanation of their menu also lead to wrong orders which they refused to rectify. All in all a bad experience and the food (and pricing) wasn’t even that good. Go to any other hotpot place for a better experience!
Almost once every month, taste of hometown, authentic smell and flavor but abit high cost.
This was the 2nd time I patronized the restaurant within 1 month. I still think this is one of the best Mala Hotpot that you can find in Singapore.
food are very fresh and quality. quite many options. however, price is not attractive ... haha
Reserved for my friend’s family, the local singapore angmo style family. They love the taste and the desserts, the black sugar jelly ends the spicy hotpot perfectly.
Return customer many times alrdy. As the local Chongqing people, having the most similar authentic taste in Singapore, how can I skip it?
Athentic taste of original ChongQing Hotpot. Price a but high, but occasionally I will be willing to go rather than Hai Di Lao.
Mala hotpot is nice and spicy. Friendly staff and clean environment.
The place is clean and the servers were very friendly and polite. Thumb up!
Good service and good environment. But it is too expensive. The food is too less for each.
Food is nice, service was great. Servers were friendly. One of them even offered to help us mix the dipping fragrant oil” sauce”
Good ambience, spicy chilli, varied menu and not too expensive
Very original taste of Chongqing house brand hotpot. Service nice and friendly. Food served fast. Really like it but cant have it often due to the unfriendly pricing.
Like the environment. The food are slightly small portion. About pricey. Overall is good.
2nd time here. Food here is really fresh. Really love the Mala pot which is a lot spicier and thicker than those outside. Will definitely be back again!
At First I was afraid of the atmosphere, but then all in all it was a nice visit. Thanks Dir the Food and Kind service!
Hidden gem in the steamboat space. Worth to visit if u like steamboat ... could find that it is even better than hai di Lao.
Excellent food and services. The staff are prompt in helping us out with the needy. Will definitely come back again if there is any discount
Mala was good, but service staff’s attitude/attentiveness was not good. We had to ask for chilli 3 times before we got it, and we were charged wrongly at the end, but it was corrected immediately.
nice food but a bit noisy when fully packed Delicious food and courteous service! Will definitely come back again!Found a gem here :) Nice and cosy ambience.
Good. Service was good too. Always visit when I’m craving for hotpot
Honestly, price is high as Hidilao , food standard normal as liangseah st steamboat buffet. choice of sauce very few & charges $5 each person. thanks & no next time
The base is too spicy although we chose "least spicy", while maybe it suits some chili lovers. Service is ok. Overall, 4 marks. Thank you.
Food are fresh but the sauce is very oily and also the mala soup is oily too , next time have to request less oil . The price almost the same as hai di lao
strategic location in bugis junction. excellent & helpful staff. food price at reasonable & affordable. will definitely recommend to my friends & family & will visit again.
The food quality is not bad but the quantity is quite little. There's a strong lamb smell the whole time. Staffs are nice and polite but lacks a bit of attentiveness. Overall it was a good experience.
The food is really fresh and the soup is delicious! Price was slightly pricer than we expected but it was overall enjoyable time. The service by the service crew was great too!
Xiao long kan is not bad, but too hot and oily.the service is very good .Food is nice and clean.People not too much in there, no need wait.
Good food and good service. Will visit xiao long kang again. I have try Chinatown branch n bugis branch .. I prefer Chinatown xiao long kang.
