Great set lunch menu at a reasonable price. Fruit infused tap water, mint butter, and flowers on the desserts are just a few of the special touches and attention to detail. The lavender decor is not overbearing and adds a classic touch to the delicious french food atmosphere. Highly recommend.

The environment is good. I am been served by Mr Chandan and Jake and very happy with the little surprise for my partner. Definitely will revisit for special occasion.

Went dinner with wife on 1st apr but set dinner only apply to Mon - Thu. So hv to order ala carte. Ambience is good. Like the Foie Gras with poached egg, tiramisu, artichoke soup. Main course duck confit, think meat bit dry and too salty. Ebi angel hair is fine. Crowd : not full house at ground floor. 2nd floor not sure.

Quiet and peaceful place to dine at. Decent food with interesting butter made by themselves. Staff is polite as well, overall quite a nice place to eat at.

Pleasant dinner experience, in a restored old 2-storey shophouse; nice ambience, quiet atmosphere, attentive service and interesting menu. The "signature" dishes which were recommended by our server, were indeed very tasty, eg. roasted foie gras, cold angel hair pasta, miso red cod. Desert choices were less interesting, but adequate. Overall, a very nice place for dinner..

Came during lunch time, tried the set lunch. Lovely ambiance, food was a delightful mixture of flavours that came together very nicely. A lot of thought into the dishes, including food plating. Service was good, friendly. We had a complimentary mango sorbet which was also very well done. We will be back to try the A La Carte menu.

The warm herb bread roll served as our starters was delicious. For our mains, we had the red miso cod and duck confit and both dishes were thumbs up - presentation and taste wise. Appreciated the mango palate cleanser in between our appetizer and mains. Service could have been a tad bit more attentive though.

Overall a good experience. But the bread was served late. As a result we didn't really have much time to eat it before the appetizer was served.

Food and presentation is good. Considered fine dining and the ambience is nice. Prices a little on the high side but you can tell that effort is spent on each item served.

Great food, ambience and presentation. The air conditioning was not working very well though. Could do with one more person to serve. Would go back again.

Love the settings. Food was lovely and they serve free appetizers and mango sorbet while waiting for our food to arrive. Hostess went around explaining the food served.

Nice atmosphere, good food. Absolutely worth trying. Some dishes have interesting combinations of ingredients but never get too experimental. We tried the lunch menu which is very good value and offers a lot of options to chose from.

Took the set lunch. Dessert options were limited and taste and palate-balance wise rather disappointing. The starters and mains were within the range of alright-to-good.

Good, attentive service. Food beautifully presented and well explained. Its a pity set lunch/dinner menu are not available on weekends else could be more value for money and help to increase patronage.

Great introduction and presentation on the dishes. Good service and relaxed ambience. The saffron herb bread and herb crusted Hokkaido scallops were good but the summer mushroom aglio olio a tad too salty for me but was otherwise good. Parma wrapped chicken breast too dry though.

A restaurant with nice setting, serving good food, especially the set lunch. Particularly like the Herb Crusted Hokkaido Scallops and Deep Fried Crispy Calamari. Will go again in the near future.

Nice food and service. It would be better if they could improve their dessert selection for their set lunches. Portion is just nice for me.

The service is very good. I had the sous vide beef cheeks which was very good, but my friend's pasta is average. Place seems a little warm, maybe aircon had some problems.

food is good esp starter ( foie gras, scallop) and mushroom soup. as for mains, tenderloin is good (med) but sauce is too salty. lastly valrhona choc cake is yummy😀 food a bit pricy if without any promotion; dining place is very warm - was told kitchen oven broke down causing some fault to the aircon.

Overall ok except that the waiter recommended the wagyu beef cheek over the duck confit. The beef though tender, didn't taste as good as the duck.

Not sure if it was the increased crowd capacity during valentine's day, but the waiting time between courses is long and the air was rather warm at the ground level. There seems to be some lack of manpower to service a full house at the restaurant. The food quality was also average, we found the fish overcooked and tough to chew. Overall I'm a little disappointed with the dining experience.

Staff's service was impeccable on my visit on the 20th Feb 2016 (5/6). Food wise, the truffle foie gras and kurobuta pork belly was nicely done (5/6) but can't say the same for the duck confit that i've had (3/6), apparently the standard for the duck confit has dropped since my last visit at the end of 2015.

Had the 4 course set dinner. Fantastic service by Mr Chandran. He explained the elements of the dishes and how best to enjoy each course. Food was up to expectations. Overall great experience in a cozy violet themed restaurant.

I wasn't told that the restaurant serve strict Valentine set menu, and no al carte. There should have been a pop up or message stating that. We sat at our table and diasapointed about that, although they have good menu, but we didn't want to compromise on set menu.

the food was excellent - great taste and presentation, perfect size. The king fish was exceptionally well done! the service was poor - no one refilled our wine, the waitress was inexperienced (could not direct us to the restroom) and we asked for the bill 4 times before finally receiving it. I believe the manager needs to delegate more to her staff to cover all the needs of the patron. Leverage your staff to do more than simply refill water. This place has great potential if the service is improved.
