a hidden gem. while service could be slightly improved with the new staff, the food is absolutely delightful. we were disappointed the coffee machine was broken to not get that fix at end of a superb meal nevertheless didnt take away from the inspiring meal. the fish is fresh and a must have in whichever dish you choose.

The food prepared by the chef-owner was tasty. Service by youngsters needs to be improved. We were not happy about a new bottle of sparkling water being opened and poured without our express permission. Especially when our water glasses were still 3/4 full. The Manageress/owner settled the issue by not charging us for it. Otherwise, a decent dinner.

Great food. Great setting. Wanted more! I felt the meal went by too quickly! Should maybe add a bit more to make it a more memorable experience. A bit of fun, a bit of theatre with the food and it would be perfect! Just lacked something to make it unique.

The foie gras there is awesome. First one was not the usual top standard as a little overdone but the other 2 foie gras courses were brilliant. Always our choice for a special occasion!

Wanted a nice place for wife's birthday. And it was definitely one of our best dining exeperience this year. The food was awesome! Have to mention the fois gras - was simply heavenly. Last but not least, the service was excellent.

Dinner set menu was good value for money, however supplementary charges would push the restaurant to the realm of Michelin stars for which it would have to do better to be appealing. Limited selection of wine by the glass was disappointing. Good vibe for dating.

Lovely little restaurant with great food and good service. It was very quiet when I went (a Thurs lunch time) and the portions are v small so either order-up or don't arrive too hungry!

Excellent atmosphere and great food. The staff were attentive and of help whenever we needed any. A less crowded place to come to for any occasions. Definitely would come back again!

Outstanding food, beautifully prepared and executed. Really excellent service. Well worth a detour to have dinner - this was my second visit, with overseas guests, who were hugely impressed.

The waiters were smiley and polite and they explained every dish upon serving them. I went there to celebrate my mother's birthday and they gave us a small cake for it. Sweet gesture from them! Loved the food there too! It was a quiet and relaxing place during lunch, away from the hustle and bustle of the CBD. Very satisfied overall and I'll be back again, probably for their dinner.

Pleasant ambience for an enjoyable dinner. The service was excellent with the waiters giving close attention to the customer needs. Food was needless to say, high standards with details to taste, texture and food presentation.

Food is VERY good, the best Duck Confit in SINGAPORE, You MUST get this dish if you are dining in Violet Herbs. The Red Miso Cod fish was served in a piece of beautiful art. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 to the Chef and owner of this restaurant! I will sure be back again. Creative cuisine and good service. Very reasonable price although the portion a bit small

Sauce of Wagyu beef checks is too sweet and overpowers any beef taste. Marinated Red Miso Cod is supposed to be best seller, but the cod isn't particularly flavorful. Lobster cappucino was the only good item.

The food was fantastic. It is really a first class restaurant experience. Fine dining at its best. Service was attentive as well. One of the best duck confit i have had in a while.

We went to celebrate our girlfriend's birthday on Sunday evening. The atmosphere here is quiet and nice, food also delicious, waiter was very friendly and explain a bit for every serving.

Loved the signature Marinted Miso Cod! Violet Herbs offers Modern European cuisines with Asian influences. They served delicate cuisine with beautiful presentation. It located in two-story shophouse in Tanjong Pager.

Great food and the service level is outstanding. Highly recommend for a night out here. The seafood dishes were out of this world. Atmosphere is good as well.

We went to celebrate a girlfriend's birthday although I didn't actually tell the restaurant that. We had beautiful entree's and then a complimentary palate cleanser followed by main course. They then brought out a Happy Birthday cake for my friend as they had overheard us cheering her...so I thought this was above and beyond service and really made the night a wonderful experience. The food is absolutely amazing and would highly recommend it.

The appetizer was good. The main dish of red miso cod is super delicious! Definitely worth trying! The sweet - Cold nougat is also pleasing tot the palate!

The food & portion are good. Set dinner was reasonably priced too.
