I have been fortunate to dine at this restaurant many times and each time it is a pure joy. The food is sublime and so are the staff. The settings are also delightful and I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone visiting, or living, in Singapore.

Excellent food-- we had the ribs, the spatchcock chicken, the lamb and the shredded duck. Service was very good too. The staff were very warm and friendly.

Prompt service. Food served was delicious yet different. Had white vegetables soup with bread selection for appetisers which were all wonderful. Mains ordered were Wagyu rump and paprika roasted chicken and both simply divine and reasonably priced. Wine at $12 per glass. Recommended

Let down in service aspect - disjointed, waited long time for first drink. Drinks appeared at same time as entree. Difficult to flag staff for additional order. Food pleasant but not amazing. Enjoyed evening but very lacking in "special"

Solid range of meat and seafood dishes. Nice quiet environment. Portions are decent sized and well plated. Desert range a bit limited. Would recommend for lunch or dinner.

Service was prompt and good. Nice place to bring your other half for a special meal. Parking is a little expensive and Halia doesn't offer complimentary parking.

my client loves the décor in colonial style. food was good, makes a overseas client enjoy the possibility of European foodfare with some oriental fusion.

We had a lovely meal, food was excellent, however the restaurant lacked atmosphere, by 9pm on a Saturday night the restaurant was almost empty which is a shame.

Excellent service. Ambience was suitable for a romantic date or just a quiet evening out. Quality of food was good for the price paid. Drinks can be a tad overpriced though.

Great ambience in a historical context. Food was excellent - the service was also great, but rushing it. We were served our mains before we had finished our starters. It can give the impression that turn around tables is more important than giving full attention to the current diners. Next time I will ask the staff not to rush - because yes, there will deficiently be a second visit. Hoping for a perfect experience then! Truth be told this was also a perfect experience at The Raffles Hotel, thanks to the live band at The Long Bar. Amazing!!

Service was very good! Food wise, mediocre. The chilli crab spaghettini was not that fantastic. What stood out most was the potato fries with truffle dip and the sticky toffee pudding. I will go back just for these two. :)

Overall was good. Although at times, it was difficult to catch the attention of the staff as there were not always working the floor.

The dry aged irish ribeye is pretty good. Will try the wagyu tenderloin and the signature series next time. The lamb rump is very tender but a tad sweet.

Excellent service in recommending the food and the staff are helpful to customer's request. The serving portion is well portioned for individual. Signature food will be Deep fried Salt & Chili Squid and Chili Crab Spaghetti.

Good service. The weekday set lunch was great value for money @ $25. I also try the chef's special - Braised Ox Tongue which was absolutely fantastic.

Food was great for sharing - we ordered the salmon pate with crostini, chilli crab spaghettini, javanese grilled rump, and corned beef hash. The cardamon/cinnamon coffee (iced) was an acquired taste that I did not particularly enjoy but my friend enjoyed his hot version.

Great customer service and delicious food. The poached egg that comes in the brunch menu is a must-have. Try also the lemongrass drink. Will not hesitate to return!

Nice ambient, average food & price. Staff are polite and well-trained. Based on my past experience, the quality of dinner served seems to be better than lunch which I am not sure whether it was due to different chef on duty.
