Food was great but if the service staff can be a bit more attentive, it will be great. A bit disappointed that despite the restaurant being really empty, staff wanted to put me in this really uncomfortable corner.

Food was average. We had the chilli crab pasta (average only), halibut (soup was nice and sweet, tasted like a home-cooked dish) and the ginger nougat parfait for dessert (nothing mind-blowing). Service was attentive and unobtrusive.

Nice ambience and service is fantastic. Prices were alright, i like that menu is extensive - didnt know what to order as there were many choices. Ended up ordering chili crab spaghetti. It was good but i was sooooo thirsty all day

This restaurant is a lovely find, great location (although Raffles hotel generally is a disappointment), cooking honest and really high quality food at very reasonable pricing. I would never have picked it as a place to eat, but it came so highly recommended by friends that I couldn't not give it a try. I'd highly recommend it to anyone - despite its modest décor, this is surely one of the best restaurants in Singapore! Staff were a delight, really knowledgeable and took a genuine interest in every customer. Overall, somewhere not to be missed!

The food was overall good. The must-try would be the halibut fish and the beef short-rib. The service was excellent and food was coming out of the kitchen fast. The best part was there is a 1-for-1 for the main dish (not including the steak) if you use The Entertainer app. And the dessert was so good, I would recommend the sticky toffee pudding and the creme brulee!

Came here for brunch on Saturday, it is a good environment, casual and chill. Service here is very good, worth the price. It will be better if they open one hour earlier on weekend for brunch.

Great food quality. Service was great, looked into details and are always around to assist. Not very crowded although it was a weekend dinner, so it was a nice dinner in the city without the crowd.

Service was slow despite restaurant being less than half full when we arrived. We had to get our own menu after waiting for more than 10mins, sitting at our table.

Halia, always a good place to go for good food at a reasonable price and comfort. Had the set lunch lamb leg curry (the meat was so tender) with butter rice and avocado prawn salad to start. I was a little disappointed in the chilled mango soup which was way to tart/sour for me.

Good food, good service. Pork loin with truffle butter was an excellent combination. Ambience was good too, not too crowded and noisy on a Saturday lunch.

The Halia at Raffles is probably our favourite restaurant in Singapore having visited there on some 5 occasions during our last two visits to Singapore. This time, a small family group of 3 visited for lunch and dinner and once again were not to be disappointed. The venue is delightful, Rafflesque with a lovely round old wooden table centrepiece. The staff are without fail the best, cheerful, helpful and knowledgeable providing excellent service throughout. But it is of course the food which is the highlight of the place. A menu to surely suit all tastes and food of the highest quality, presentation and taste. The Halia will always be the first, and last place for us to dine on any future visits to Singapore. A big thank you to all concerned.

Not too bad but their inventory of food was low. The waitress had to tell us twice that the choice of our food was unavailable.

Food was average, service and concept were worse. First of all, apparently Halia does not understand what "communal feast" means. We ordered the Halibut, spring chicken, seafood gratin (full) and the catch of the day, which was pan fried seabass. Seabass portion was super pathetic, not even enough for a girl. Wanted to order the full rack BBQ pork ribs but was told that they only serve half rack because it is "limited". So why is it still on the menu? Just leave out the option of full rack and stop confusing your customers please. That being said, shouldn't these 2 items be under "small" instead of "large"? When question about this, the staff replied "oh large means main course". Then why not rename your menu "starter" and "main course" instead of your own version of "communal feast"? This is my 2nd visit and I noticed the same thing- staff members were always huddled together (in a meeting? not sure) in conversation so it took forever to get their attention.

very attentive staff, with good customer service! Food was decent, and we had a one for one voucher. If not, it would be on the pricey side.

Food and drink menu is well thought of; overall menu spread suits small and big appetite. It was visibly evident that the staff made sure every patron were well taken care of. Ambience in the restaurant was nicely balanced for both casual and formal dining.

Food was alright but not value for money. Alaskan Black cod was too pricey considering it was rather dry. Good service by manager and staff.

Was rather difficult to get the attention of the staff at times. Some staff were friendly and helpful but the rest are not. Food wise was good. The grilled breakfast platter, pancakes and chilli crab pasta. Rather disappointed that the entertainer app 1-for-1 was not applicable for brunch items unlike at Spruce.

Food was good, as usual. However, I felt that the service could be improved. The servers were crowding in the service and kitchen area, making it tough for us to get their attention. Otherwise, the experience was good.

Overall a very pleasant experience, except that restaurant appeared a bit shorthanded with only 3 servers when it got crowded. We had the asparagus salad, which was really good, plus the beef tenderloin, spaghettini with chilli crab and pork loin. Would like to go back and try the spring chicken next time.

We had a lovely lunch in a calm and civilized setting. The $25 express set lunch menu is great value for money and, although there are only 2 options per course, they were very good.

The experience was awesome, especially our server, Jennifer, she went all out to help me prepare the surprise of my friends' birthday desserts and they were indeed surprised. Food was good, desserts were great but the teas were a miss

Halia is always a great place to go for good food. The lunch sets are very reasonable. Raffles Arcade is conveniently located even though it's in the far corner closest to the National Library.

Celebrated Mothers' Day here. Very nice ambience, not overcrowded or overloud. Food quality can be hit & miss. My chili crab spaghettini was filling and delicious, my mum liked her truffle mushroom toast, and those who ordered the cottage pie thought it was so-so. My cousin felt that the pork burger has a weird gasoline taste, and my aunt was disappointed with her corned beef hash. I wouldn't recommend the dessert. The ginger nougat and chocolate parfait were nothing to write home about, and the sticky toffee date pudding had the driest toughest texture you can ever imagine (obviously over-microwaved). Service by the industrious and cheerful waitress made up for everything- she was a gem!

Promptly seated, but it took a while for the menu to come. Staff was attentive and asked if the dishes were for sharing (I was dining with my mother) and also asked if we wished for the items to be served in proper sequence together or once they're ready. Will return again.
