The food and service was extraordinary. My friends and I enjoyed the whole time there. Everything was nearly perfect. We would definitely go there again. I ordered the spicy diablo crab and prawn, i really liked it. I love the dessert, affogato. Waiting time for reasonable and the service was good!

The food was delicious and the service was pretty great, however, the circus music did not suit the feel of the environment and was played much too loud. I will be returning for the fantastic food but in the hopes of a calmer and quieter evening.

Have had more inexpensive Mexican in sg at better quality. The vegan sorbets/ ice cream are also too sweet with little flavor. Service was friendly.

This was our 1st time and we were celebrating our 5 year old's birthday. Disappointingly, our order was mixed up and the servers did not realise that they were serving other customers food who had arrived after us. Seems like there was no overall manager or supervisor in charge. When we highlighted this about 45minutes after waiting, they said your order was coming but brought us the wrong order. After my request did they try to check the order. Saving grace was they helped to expedite the order and the food was reasonable. And they did try to do service recovery by offering us a free dessert, a small cake for the birthday girl and a discount. Kudos to the good service recovery at the end but I hope the team could be more observant and proactive with a supervisor managing the overall service.

Appetiser was better than main course but overall the food not bad. However as it was crowded and we waited for the food for quite a long time.

Great place if you're craving some Mexican! We were very happy with their quesadillas and tacos.

Enjoyed the food. The tacos and pasta were nice. Kids eat for free on Sunday was a bonus.

We were 2, we felt that the portion was huge given that we ordered 3 mains and 1 side. The chicken wing is a must order!! They have a fancy way of serving it to you!

My first visit was excellent with their promotional menu of 4 courses at $80+. I had the ikura with crabmeat dish + pork tomahawk steak + pasta and dessert. However upon visiting this restaurant again, I found out that the menu was no longer available, and I was also disappointed with the pork tomahawk steak as the recipe had changed. There was no longer the wonderful *peanutty* sauce that my girlfriend and I loved, and the cut of tomahawk steak we got was overly fatty, with the meat being too dry. Hoping to see some improvement and consistency if I happen to ever visit again.

Good variety of food and drinks. Will definitely revisit Platypus Kitchen for some healthy eats.

Platypus is the place to spend a great evening with your buddies. The food is great and the staff members certainly make you comfortable. We have got a little excited but they never once give us a disapproving look. Thank you! I will definitely patronise this restaurant again.

The quality of the food was far below what I would expect for the price.

Great service with great food. Staff were helpful in answering queries and served us water immediately upon arrival ( a welcome especially appreciated since it was so hot outside) . My partner and i loved it here!

The restaurant ran out of chicken and pork! You could only order beef as a meat or seafood items. Service was inconsistent, the food came out relatively quickly but drinks took a long time. Servers always seemed to disappear into the kitchen at the same time and serve food at the same time so there was never always someone on the floor. The food was overly salted and generally underwhelming.

I went during lunch and ordered the vegan cherry tomato and scallion pasta. Was hoping for more interesting vegan dishes but the menu has changed. I got a decent plate of pasta but the shaved scallions on top didn't add much by way of taste.

The menu has changed so the ikura pasta is gone :( but the quesadillas $12.90++ is really good!! 6 huge slices! Def try the chicken quesadillas. The service is a lot better than it used to be :)

The ambience and service is good. We went there as celebration meal for 9 persons and ordered menu in advance. Menu serve correctly and not lots of wait time. Their drink is food but good is quite average. I like platypus old version better than the mexican food one.

Amazing food, cosy atmosphere, my friend and I really enjoyed ourselves!

Lively place. A bit noisy for my taste though. We ordered the butcher's platter and did not realize it came with sides since it was our first time and have to admit we did not read the details in the menu. So ended up with a bit too much food. Overall, we liked the food though.

Food is good especially the truffle fries is a must try.
