the restaurant is pretty Noisy and the staff are not friendly, no menu was served when seated and no drinks were served until upon asked.

Both the food and service were good. The food is a bit pricey though. A great place for catch up and relax with friends over dinner and drink

Okay overall. Food was excellent and portion size was good. Service was a little slow - not enough staff to deal with the lunch crowd although they were very efficient and constantly busy.

Great menu choices, delicious food at reasonable costs and bargain cocktails.......what a great place. We had a fantastic time and will definitely go again. No need to take the car with Bugis MRT just steps away

Food was good and reasonably priced. Went with the 4 course meal and our food arrived very promptly. Can't say the same for the couple seated next to us though as theirs arrived only after we were done with our desserts.

Food was not bad, but my parents had to wait for an hour for theirs to arrive. We had to rush our dinner because of this delay, did not get to savour our dinner

Have been to platypus a few times. As usual, the food was promptly served, and the service was good. Everything was fuss free and excellent!

Food is good, fast service. A bit disappointed that the lobster roll is not in season. Overall the lobster bisque is pure heaven. Will be back again.

Nice ambience and attentive service. Good selection on the menu to suit different taste buds. The executive lunch set that I ordered included an interesting soup of the day (potato and leek), a choice of main (with vegetarian offering as a choice too) and a beverage.

Great restaurant and great service. Pasta tasted great and dessert was good too. Birthday day wishes as well for my gf Will definitely return there again soon

Food is satisfactory but not worth the price. Location and ambience is alright. Still worth a first visit and try out the 3 course dinner.

The molten lava cake (matcha) was a bit too sweet for me. It needs to have more of that bitter sweet matcha flavour, instead of just sugar to balance it. However I loved the promotion on the alcohol drinks, lots of variety to choose from and really funky creations. Not bad too

Service was a bit erratic, but the staff are efficient and friendly. Meals were great and good size. Desserts let this restaurant down. The lava cake should be hot (lava is hot) and the doughnuts were bland. Still a great place to go.

Reasonable prices, good music, well run. Came in for brunch on Saturday, not too packed. Well lit with good views and nice simple interior decor.
