Nice ambience, great for birthday and gatherings. Love the private room and staff service. Not many choices for sharing dishes. Will come back again next time!

Good place to celebrate birthday, the staff will present the birthday cake to your table upon request, and all staffs will gather to sing you the bday song! Food is great, worth the price.

Fantastic service and food. I went for the three course set meal and a cocktail, which set me back a total of $42. Service was prompt and polite.

Decent food. Pricy for the quality. Got my truffle wildmushroom pasta for 17.90. I think 14 ish will be more reasonable. The lighting is kind of dark. Could be better if more soft lightings are added.

Platypus really excels in creative combinations of foods into unique dishes. Cocktails are not the usual standard ones you find everywhere, strong, and pretty good, plus your first drink is $6.

Food was good. Had the roasted chicken. It was very juicy, even the chicken breast. The set menu was very value for money as well. However, the only setback was that the restaurant did not register that I made a reservation. Luckily, there were empty tables so I did not have to wait to get my table.

Excellent food, good service. Tables could be further apart, because it was too noisy, and difficult to hear or engage in any conversation. The Truffle Ribeye bowl is fantastic!

Service was not great, chicken came undercooked and after we reported it to the staff it was returned to us overcooked. Billing was erroneous and staff seemed to lack training and keenness to serve.

Food is good, celebrated my Japanese friend's birthday there and I have informed the restaurant about it and they surprised her when 3 staffs came along singing birthday song with a slice of birthday cake.

The service was good as we were being served by Ms Belinda. In fact her service saved the entire dining experience. We went for the 3-course set lunch and the executive set lunch where we had Aglio olio of mushroom as well as the Shaved truffle carbonara for the main dish.

Wonderful food served in generous portions! Enjoyed the experience there tremendosly. Service was friendly but felt that attentiveness could be slightly better. Overall a good experience

Great food at reasonable prices, lovely ambience and excellent service! Glad that we came. I have taken pumpkin soup at various places. This is the best, way ahead of others. Even one of my family members who is often critical of eateries - if it's not the food, it's the price or the ambience etc - he acknowledged this is a nice place - he liked the brunch rice bowl. We will certainly be back.

The food served is simply tasty and portion is quite sizeable too. Even the cocktails are unique. We really enjoy our dinner. This is my second visit and I will definitely return for more.

Loved the grilled chicken especially...my hubby who normally avoid chicken breast loved the chicken breast - very juicy...went there thrice...and going back again for the 4th 😋😋

Great food! Lots of truffle and crustaceans running through its veins. I recommend the ribeye truffle rice bowl actually. Delectable. Heard good things about the crustaceans pastas too.

Food is hit n miss, it's my 2nd visit in two weeks. This time with 4 colleagues to try more dishes - Much hyped beef bowl has little beef n ingredients, cast iron chicken is rather tough n handmade pasta is clumped up together like the 1st time I had it - average $40 per pax altho we ordered 1 set meal each. Food not value for $, ambience was ok not too loud n minimal interruption from service.
