Quite a mouthful, this Chinese hotpot restaurant in Bugis, but that’s not surprising given its massive menu of Yunnan cuisine. Hotpot-style dishes are ubiquitous through the Chinese province of Yunnan, and here in Singapore the style is ably represented at Xiang Cao Yunnan Original Ecology Hotpott’s restaurant on Leang Seah Street, connecting Beach Road and North Bridge Road not far from Bugis MRT. Add thinly sliced meat, spices, mushrooms (a big part of Yunnan cuisine), seafood, vegetables and much more to customise a Chinese hotpot meal that’s best shared around the table. Book a table in advance to avoid disappointment.
Always a good time and I love the premium buffet. Food is fresh and good and their portions are always generous. We will come back often!
Nice authentic yun nan taste. The soup base is very nice.
Fresh ingredients & the wild mushroom soup is a must to try.
Its my second time eating here. Value for money if you were to take the buffet option for abt 30 bucks nett.Ingredients were fresh. Definitely will come back again.
fresh food n such . many times here already. good service . but this recent visit went there around 7:30 and took the normal buffet and was told beef was out of stock :( peak hour and item was out of stock. Abit disappointed. but the mutton make up to it. everything great except Abit noisy at times .
I always dine there but it’s not buffet. So I was with my customer we eat n eat as we didn’t know there is a timing for buffet dinner, but we call for bill the manager was so rude talk so loudly n say buffet only 90 mins because today it’s not packed that’s why we give u all a chance. I’m like what kind of rude attitude is this. First they didn’t even mention about the time. 😡
Place was easy to locate and service was good. Ordering was made easy via ipad. The variety of selection was reasonable, ingredients were super fresh and reasonably priced. There was a variety of soup base to choose from. Their speciality soup base- mushroom was a little too overpowering for my friends and I. Skip that if you're not a great fan of mushroom. Would highly recommend the chicken and tomato soup base.
The combination of the beef patty, cheddar cheese, sweet onion, tomato, lettuce and brioche buns of the Wolf Signature burger was juicy and delicious, albeit a bit small. The portion of fries is just nice but I would prefer the thick potato strips to be more crispy to go with the tomato and chilli sauce.
Its just like HDL, but so much cheaper and nicer! In fact better than HDL i would say. Even if its cheap the quality of the food still has it's standard! Definitely coming back often! What is bad is that there is a time limit.
Good service as ever but dining table at the condiment area was too near the table at the back. Had to leave because there was a panicking mother and a toddler playing with ipad seated behind me. It would be better if there were a divider between the two areas.
