Food and ambience was nice. Staff were polite but one staff who seems to be new or a part timer not very experience -not familiar with the menu and trying to clear our plate when there is still food way before closing time.

Food was quite good. Service was alright. The place doesn't seemean to be sound proof or be able to absorb noise. It was simply too noisy and we had to leave almost immediately after finishing our food.

Hard a hard time locating it, but luckily reservation wasn't given away after 15 mins (think they were too busy to notice we were late or pick up my call! LOL). Anyhow, upon arrival, was quickly ushered to the table. Food was also served pretty quickly after we ordered! Love their $6 first drink promo - should extend to all the cocktails :P

We had great time and an enjoyable dinner! All dishes are excellent except the dessert, green tea lava cake which is too sweet and lack of the taste of green tea. We will visit again!!

The best thing in this cafe is the service. The young lady ,who served us, was patient. Food-wise, I feel the place has been over-rated. There were 4 of us. We had the Soju BBQ Pork, the Ribeye Truffle, the squid ink pasta and the Forest Mushroom Tagliolini. The pork was dry and hard. Believe me char siew rice from the food Centres fair much better for a fraction of the cost. The Ribeye Truffle wasn't too bad but the sauce that went with the rice was a tad sweet. The squid ink pasta didn't have much flavour or punch to it. Pretty ordinary for something that had the chef's recommendation logo next to it. As for the Tagliolini, there was too much cream. However if u are a mushroom fan you would love it cos of the generous amount of mushrooms. Since one of us ordered the set meal, we had Apple tart for dessert. That added a little comfort to our disappointment. It had the right proportion of pastry and filling and the vanilla ice cream that went with it was light and not too sweet. The unimpressive main courses, however, deterred my party from ordering desserts On the whole, I do applaud them for trying to mix east and west but at such prices, they could have faired better.

Fast service and ge staff are very friendly. However we are disappointed as the restaurant indicated free wifi but the router is spoil, couldn't connect to it.

Overall, it 's was fine. Food so-so, service so-so, with reasonable price tag. Suitable for group booking as they allow reservation. Thank you very much!

Food is overrated. Ordered the spicy chicken wings /Squid-ink & Ikura/ and Lobster roll - they are just average. Nothing special. Will not visit again.

Decent food but could improve and price is alright. It is better to make reservations especially on Friday else have to queue. Recommend the chili crab bun

I give rating of 4 because the initial hiccups of NOT having ENOUGH teapots to serve our orders of hot teas was compensated with awesome food. Secondly, the desserts brought to us wasn't warm up equally as it was hot & cold at the same time. Overall, the service staffs are attentive.

The ambience is not bad. The waiters and waitresses are friendly. The food is nice and appetising. I will make a return trip in the future.

Enjoyed value lunch set. Delicious soup and pasta with real truffle slice. Quiet and nice atmosphere too. Next time would like to try other dishes such as sandwiches and bowls.

Overall, the experience encounter at Platypus Kitchen is average. Will go back to try out the Cast Iron Grilled Chicken. Dessert menu was not so attractive though :(

The food was quite bland and the service crew were not attentive. We waited for sometime for the bills. Other than that, the serving of food was fast. :)

The food were served quickly. waiters and waitress were very responsive and helpful in our requests. overall the experience was a good one. the place was not awfully crowded and food not not bad. serving was large enough.

Fast food service and good food. Water re-fill took some time to process though. Would re-visit for truffle pasta and sweet potato fries. Wish they have alternatives besides rice for the gourmet bowls.

Service was attentive, food was excellent. I'd recommend the molten lava cake, it was perfection! It can get a tad noisy when the restaurant is full, I was there on a Sarurday night so that was to be expected, nonetheless, still had a wonderful time there.

I had some special request that they were able to accommodate. Service was friendly, food was tasty and nice sofa seats. Would come back again.

Food so so only, and not worth the price. Little food selection and many beef or spicy food. Staff were inexperienced and not attentive enough.

Value for money. Wish the dessert (apple pie & lava cake) could be warmer though. Staff are alert and friendly. However one of the orders was wrongly taken. Instead offering to replace, waited for us to decide whether we will accept the food.

First time there. Platypus kitchen did not disappoint! The food was fantastic. My wife was especially satisfied with the sous vide ribeye steak. Will definitely go back again!

Nice food such like half chicken! I love that meat so soft to eat! And the manner of the waiter is so gentle and perform high polite!

Great food - loved the Lychee Soju. Kid had half chicken - not bad. The beef bowl with truffles is very good. Reservation was smooth. Will come back again.

Was slightly disappointed to find that they offered their brunch menu on PH as we were eager to try their weekday menu offerings. Nonetheless, the food was good, brunch set was value for money. Also appreciated the slice of cake and celebration as we were celebrating a birthday. :)

A little cramp and perhaps too noisy if you're looking for somewhere to relax after work, but food was absolutely good and tasty. Waiters could be more attentive, but they were helpful and friendly

Booked a table for a party of 10. Service was prompt and friendly despite it being lunch hour on a weekday. We ordered set lunches all round and these were good value for money.

Accessible location, though food took awhile to arrive but quality of food was amazing. Recommend their handmade pastas (beef ragu in particular)! Would definitely visit again :-)

We ordered the truffled carbonara n it was fantastic. They also have a brunch set menu for $22 til 5pm. We'll try that one next time.

The food was great! The ambience was amazing, quiet and calm. Just a small issue with the slow service, perhaps because it was understaffed. Will come again for the food!

Not a fan of lukewarm food - both the crustacean and beef bowl I ordered came with room temperature rice. The ingredients were fresh and overall the food was decent.

Some of our food was served warm when its supposed to be piping hot. It looks microwaved (steam was coming out of the surface but the middle part is cold). Crab crustacean was the dish served as if its microwaved. Beef with truffles was fine.

We sit at the back of the shop....so is away from the crowd outside....good a gathering with some privacy.....the chilli crab bun is nice & the garlic roasted chicken platter is well seasoned.

The food isnt that great, not worth for the price. Order the spicy crab and prawn pasta but cannot taste any spice, not much taste.

Overall its good as it accomodate to my needs to have a corner to ourselves as I am celebrating my BF birthday. The food was excellent too and the have a cocktail promo starting at $6 for the first order.

The overall experience is ok, food is average. Service is not bad. I think they can further improve their food. Some are abit too exotic to my liking.
