Platypus Cantina - Bugis

It’s a pre-Xmas dinner with friends, they serve good spring chicken with good cocktail and wine choice. We all enjoyed the night there.

It was a big gathering with friends, it’s good that they arranged us at a big table which allow us to sit together to enjoy the fun nights, food are good with plenty choice cocktail and wine. good for organising a group dinner

it’s always a good place to hang out with friends because of plenty food choices and cheap cocktail. The set menu is definitely a high C/P choice.

Pleasant environment with decently prepared food. Perhaps a lil pricey.

Had the butcher plate. The beef was grilled to perfection and also pleasantly surprised that the pork though thick was tender , tasty and juicy. Ended with a latte which was at just the strength I like . A most satisfying dinner. Thank you

maybe it’s because if COVID-19, a lot dishes are not available. so we don’t have many choice to enjoy the food there. The dishes we ordered are quite ok.

The fish tacos & the hot lava choc dessert were delicious! So was the avocado salad but we couldn’t find any avocado! Service could be a little faster since the place was not crowded.

Ordered 1 main dish and octopus & chiilli fries, all much more below my expectation, octopus is totally misrep from the picture :(

Valentine day. The wait is crazy. Booked 8pm. We reached at 7.50pm. We ordered two sets of 5 course meal at around 8pm. The first appetitzer took almost 25mins to serve. Then second dish was 20mins. Third dish we waited for almost 1hour. We almost walked out of the place. The super long wait have made both of us full. Will never recommend anyone here unless u have very good patience.

This is my 1st ever experience I use quandoo to booked the seat with the restaurant. Hassle free jz need to filll in a simply form. We reached there slightly late as per timing I booked early but they alr reserved a nice seat for us. After we place the order the foods served in very short time which surprised me as there are almost full house tt day. Ambience wise me and my family love it so much as it is very colourful and lively. Overall we love this restaurant and its food jz that the price abit stephy. Will surely come bc again in future !

We dont need to wait 20 minutes between each course. Had to skip dessert to send gf home for curfew. I'm pretty sure 2 hours in the restaurant was more than enough for them to finish serving us all our courses. Nice foie gras tho. Suggestion: Maybe have non seafood options for the first few courses. My GF bobian had to go for vegan course cuz she doesnt eat seafood.

The seat reserved was taken but it was ok because there were a lot of empty seats. Ordered the pasta noodle with tomatoes and tempeh. The noodle was rubbery, not aldente but the taste was nice. Will still order it and hopefully, it is just a one time thing

Waited 15 minutes before we were seated. Plus we had to prompt for the bigger table indoors as we were asked to sit outdoors as all the indoor 2 pax tables were occupied. We were not offered the bigger table, it was only after I saw the server offering one of the bigger table to another couple that I requested for it too.
