2nd time here and still really liked the homemade pasta! Price wise also very affordable and portion is just right. Would definitely come back again!
food was far from acceptable- pasta was not Al Dente, sauce was really salty, electricity kept breaking down. Will not go again unless something drastically changes.
Great place. The food was decent and reasonably priced. The staff there were also extremely helpful. Not to mention that there is no service charge!
The people are nice, the portabello fries taste great. The down side (probably for that night only) are the sudden power trips that happened twice. Like the ambience and food, will come by again!
Cheap and affordable handmade pasta place. Felt that the egg pasta was a bit clumpy and that there could have been more sauce in the pasta. However, this place has much potential and I will be back
Overall, it was pretty good food and rather affordable too! The meatballs were a little bit salty though. But would come back again to try more of their homemade pastas!
With all the hype, one would expect more. The Carbonara was not, as claimed, "some say it's the best in town". Nonna wouldn't be proud.
cosy environment. great music. fuss-free, order from counter, take a buzzer and wait for your food. would be better if there is a wider range of drinks selection.
Very bright and clean restaurant. Place offers a very wide selection of pastas and sauces, alongside with very tasty sides. Please remember to order them.
Food was good and prices are very reasonable. However, I think that maybe because the restaurant is still quite new, it suffers from some teething problems in terms of service . For instance, we ordered 2 pasta dishes. But the second arrived almost 45 minutes after the first (which in itself took 30 minutes to arrive). Also, what was on my plate did not look anything like the restaurant's photo of tagliatelle, nor what we understand tagliatelle to be. Rather, we received what looked like hastily cut up pasta sheets. At least they apologised for the delay. But we were too tired/hungry from the wait to dispute what was eventually served for the second dish. As a result, I'm not sure I'll be craving to return anytime soon.
good food and homely ambience. the bosses are jovial and lovely. the food tasted better when I visited when they first opened, perhaps it is the new chefs getting used to the whole system....
This is a no-frills restaurant which requires self service. Service was quick and the food was delicious. The decor is simple and nice with great ambience music.
I liked here homemade pasta but the sauces were too little for both pastas so I felt the pastas were quite dry. Other than that, I liked their atmosphere, self-service system and choices of pastas and sauces. :)
Lovely pastas. I recommend the truffle carbonara in linguine, pay that few dollars more compared to the regular carbonara as its so much more yummy! For sides, calamari was on the smaller side but decent. Truffle fries and bruschetta good too. Definitely returning!
Nice place. The staff was welcoming, wide choice on the menu and the food tasted good. Only weak point: the pasta portion was a bit too small :) But overall: nice experience
Affordable and somewhat value for money. wasn't that amazing but a good deal for what you're paying. make sure to pair the pasta and sauce wisely, a wrong combination will make the dish seem much worse than what you feel you should be paying for.
We were there on a Friday night and was surprised that the place is packed. Its an entirely self service restaurant and was too much of a hassle for us to keep walking up and down to get the food, buy water, get our own utensils etc... The food had a lot of misses. We ordered the special of the day, tagliatelle with porcini and white truffle sauce and the pasta was not well cooked. It was a mushy mess that wasn't tasty. The squid ink pasta with seafood was very bland and the pasta was again mushy. The fried mozzarella and portobello fries were nice. The meatball pasta was alright too.
Special pastas are handmade daily and the workers are very friendly! Definitely worth trying. Loved the hot wings on their menu, regretted not trying their truffle fries 😐
Great freshly made pasta, good coffee and tiramisu, all at affordable prices (no GST or service charge) in a homely friendly atmosphere! Will be back! (:
Great place to go. Insightful experience for pasta goers. Good for family and friends. I personally like the gnocchi and red sauce. Food was a bit slow.
A cosy Italian restaurant with nice ambience and friendly staffs. Tried the Rosemary chicken and Porcini Ravioli and we wiped the plates clean ! Another must try is the fried calamari with garlic. Will definitely return to try their other dishes. 😋😊
Good wholesome traditional Italian food at affordable prices. Simple layout and clean establishment. Great idea to get rid of all the frills (wait staff, credit card payments) so the money goes to paying for good quality ingredients that your customers will keep coming back for. Loved the self-service! 👍🏼🍽😋
Restaurant was clean. Good service and good food, but service was a little slow (we came on a Saturday evening)! The self-service element of the restaurant wasn't ideal but prices are very very good.
Affordable place to have good food. Owner is very welcoming. No service charge and GST. Only downside is the lack of normal tables for groups of more than 5. Will have to use the high tables for bigger groups. Will come back again!
Casual place to go for lunch or dinner Good for value kinda meal and it's a self service dining Go and try their portobello fries for their appetiser, highly recommended
