Pastaria Abate - Neil Road

We waited for 1 hour and 40 minutes for our pasta. Granted that it was a busy Friday night, but we made reservations beforehand and 100 minutes is a bit too long a wait, isn’t it?

Food was affordable and good! Staff were friendly as well :)

Tried new dishes this time, a little greasy. Restaurant was rather packed so the waiting time is abit longer.

Warm cosy setting in the restaurant. Pricing for the food are wallet-friendly with a nice variety of food selection. This is our 3rd return to the restaurant for dinner.

pasta is good place is small and cosy and self service. nice selection of beers and wines as well just can get really loud and noisy because of enclosed space

Third time to this restaurant with whole company for a colleague's farewell lunch. Everyone loved the food and ambience. Food was delicious and price was reasonable. My colleagues will be back again with their family to try out other dishes. They mentioned that it's a hidden jem.

They didn't get my booking. There was no one to serve in the restaurant. We therefore decided to move to another one across the street.

A quick lunch with 2 friends between my classes. But the waiting time was a bit long although we just ordered 3 different pastas. It became quite noisy after 1230pm.

The pasta not really as good as previous comment. The dried pasta taste really “dry” most probably due to insufficient sauce on plate .

The restaurant has a very nice ambience and is managed by an awesomely friendly team of staff. The lady boss even answered our queries and introduced to us a famous Italian drink. Food wise, everything was fresh and tasty. On a personal note, I found the pasta a little dry. It could have been better with more sauce.

Went there around 2pm plus, the place and food were awesome with good ambience, service was there as well so i will definitely visit again.

Pasta is fresh as always. I'm.curfently doing Veganuary so it was a bit hard as there are no vegan options but there's vegetarian options! tried the Portobello fries this time round and it's great!!

The food was not as good as compared to my previous experience. For example the meatballs were too dry and the calamari were overly fried.

Often go here for lunch. Food is affordable. Pasta is freshly made and delicious. The sauce of the pasta is tasty too. Restaurant ambience is great.

Thank you for the amazing Fried mozzarella and Portobello fries! We chose tagliatelle for two of the pasta and it was a little stiff. Bottled and canned drinks are slightly pricey. Order and collect at the counter were fuss free. Simple and laidback environment, good for catching up with friends over a meal. Would revisit (:

A returned diner. Met overall expectations. Great quality food as usual. But need to make sure the menu is up to date with what is available.

Great food! Pasta is relatively authentic and priced well. The portions are a little small, but you can always add $2 to top up for a larger portion of noodles. Recommended!

Amongst the food we tried, the truffle cabonara with egg pasta and fried mozarella cheese were our favorites. The pasta with meatballs was a tad salty. The fried portabello mushrooms were delicious too but we weren’t sure if it was the batter or oil but it looked as though the mushrooms were over fried. Will return again!

My go-to place for some comforting pasta! Tried the special menu item Spaghetti with Foie Gras - great pasta, average foie gras.

The meal was just okay. We reserve a table but couldn’t find it when we reached the restaurant. It’s a self service restaurant. The only service staff there that night (Friday night) was awesome despite the restaurant was packed.

The food at Pastaria Abate was value for money and the restaurant had a nice ambience. The location was convenient too. Will definitely return again.

The Pollo Tranco was fantastic! The chicken was well-braised. My Best Friend and I both love it. The grilled pork belly is nicely charred . Overall, it was a wonderful experience!

Yes that’s good. A quick lunch with a cup of coffee is perfect here. It’s more expensive than before although there is no GST and service charge in bill.

It was good to dine here as before. but it seems more expensive than before. anyway, it is nearby to the yoga studio, i will still go unless the studio moves place.

Second time visiting. Food is delicious especially love the pork belly. Reasonable pricing and nice ambience. Friend is happy with the food too. Will re-visit and recommend to others.

chose linguine with sicilian anchovy and only complaint would be that it was a bit too oily for me. however perfectly flavoured, i loved the simplicity of the dish. the house white was crisp and chilled. not a long wait for food - this will depend on the pasta you choose. relaxed atmosphere and not "try hard" with decor. would go again!

excellent choice of pasta with friendly owner. fried mozzerella and carbonara roma are my top favorite dishes. looking forward to trying more of their dishes

The pasta quite nice. However serving need to improve. Yesterday we ordered and wait about half an hour. If drinking water is provided would be better. =)

Good food, and friendly staff! Prices are nett, so its value for money. Bring your own water as they only sell bottled water. The mozzarella bites were my favourite.

Saw Pastaria Abate recommended by some friends online. Went to check it out but didnt think pasta was fantastic. Still a comfortable place to go for lunch though!

The fresh pasta was fantastic, I am definitely going back to have more. Only thing is - the wait was a little long. Maybe order 2 plates if you're really hungry because by the time you get your pasta, you'll be fungry and the amazing food experience will end too quickly.

My first time there. At this restaurant, you have to self service on order placing at counter and take your own drink either by cash or nets payment. The owner is trying to keep the menu price low by doing so. There are variety of appetizer and pasta on menu and also the baked paste. As I can said the food is liked home cook food, don't expect 5 stars restaurant type. Will go back to try on other pasta.

Excellent quality and yummy pasta at affordable prices! Loved the burnt butter ravioli. A must go! We will definitely be back :) thanks for the great meal!

Amazing pasta, friendly staff. The tomato sauce is perfect. Highly recommend the eggplant lasagna. The pricing is very affordable compared to most Italian restaurants in the area.

The food took quite a while to come and the pastas we ordered were a little bland(personal preference )But the staff were really friendly.

All the food's great! Must make a reservation if you're going during peak hours like Friday night.. Waiting time is slightly long even if the place's not crowded but it's worth it. Must try the Martini Grilled Pork!
