Went with a group of friends. When we placed our order, we were informed that the kitchen was short handed. Hence, there was a possibility of a long wait. Nonetheless, the food was great and the staff were wonderful
Waited for 40min before we got our food and it came out individually hence the food had turned cold while waiting for everyone to get their main. However the pasta was prepared perfectly thus compensated for the long wait.
Food was alright, but took quite a while to arrive
Not bad the service was but the pasta was a bit salty and frankly the food were served slow. Not many customers were in the restaurant when I was there. Not sure how they would serve people when it is full.
The Restaurant has beautiful dishes and wonderful culinary sauces which were authentic. The drawback was the handmade pasta dried up pretty quickly and the pasta will clump together. Otherwise, the taste was good.
The waiting time is abit too long. The sauce for the pasta are abit too little. Overall nice place to try. Abit crowded too. No service charges
We made a reservation for Friday night at 7.30pm. Got seated and ordered at the counter, the restaurant was almost full. We waited for a total of 1h 15min to get our order of 2 pastas, which really didn’t make sense. We loved the concept - pasta was fantastic for its price, but it really shouldn’t take that long to serve. Would love to return but would definitely go during off peak timings.
Overall experience was pleasant! Low crowd on a weekday. Spaghetti was great. My friends didn't like their taglierini as much, Will check them out again
Cute little restaurant with great ambience! Though a bit small but still comfortable enough.
great Pasta, affordable simple, fuss free, nice service and good beers
Went on a friday nite was averagly crowded but the food took so long. Do not like that have to queue at cashier to buy food. Pasta was average. But the boss was very friendly and due to long wait he compensate with a drink. Pasta is abit blend .
The Italian pork belly appetizer was melt-worthy delicious! We had the Martini Pork and Scallop Pasta for our main courses and they were delicious. The prices are really affordable too.
Food was good however seatings are pretty limited. Do try the fried cheese with strawberry jam! It's pretty good. Come earlier as the queue to order might prove to be a little longer
I regret that our overall experience was not really superb, as one of us (me) was told from the server that the Lasagna was not available after waiting for 15 mins or so - why didn't you say so when we all placed the order? We were 3 people and the other 2 already got the cooked dishes after the 15 mins but I did not yet. We noticed that only one server was working when we dined at this restaurant last night, and that another customer kindly handed down his dirty dish to her as no one came to him to pick it up which is totally unacceptable for F&B business. This was my 2nd time with the restaurant and my first time was much better. I hope this happened to us as only one-time incident, and hope that this does not happen on a daily basis. Giving 2 starts as we were satisfied with the dishes, otherwise I would rate 1.
good place for lunch! will definitely come back again. would be great good if there were more seats available. food is good, haven’t tried the drinks though
Atmosphere was great for having casual conversations. Food was delicious and portions fairly generous (shared a few of the homemade egg pastas paired with a variety of red sauce base options, tender martini grilled pork, minestrone soup, grilled mozzarella, and the classic anti-pasta board) Will be back to have the dessert!
Really enjoyed my 2nd time dining experience at this little restaurant! Family-styled restaurant which serves great food for the stomach, yet gentle on one's pocket!
Always my fave italian restaurant to go! Food is great and affordable.
fantastic place with awesome interior, very homely. the food was amazing at its price, handmade egg pasta? customization? yes please! we stayed for two hours on a crowded Saturday night but was never asked to rush or leave. we ordered dessert after a while and it was equally fantastic. sorry for the incoherent review lol its just so much on my mind.
Good Pasta at a reasonable price, but the portions were a little too small for a dinner main course. It is a self service restaurant but its quite nice
Great food, ambience and service; portions are deceptively small but really filling -- super value for money! Loved the fresh pasta, albeit my tagliatelle noodles were slightly overcooked (and thus clumped up a little). My companions' meatball pasta and beef ragu were pretty close to classic Italian restaurants. Another's chicken avocado was a little cloying after a while, but the linguini had good bite.
Food was just average. We ordered two pasta and three appetisers. Not as good as what i expected. Overall it was a disappointing experience. Probably will not go another time.
I had a pleasant and fuss free dining experience. Overall, it is an awesome place to have homely and authentic Italian food. I am definitely going back for more.
No frills Italian cozy place. No taxes and self service for the food. Service was not too bad and food portions were decent, the homemade pasta was something different. Try the pork sausage!
Hi there. We ordered several dishes every meatballs, egg pasta, fried mozzarella, portobello fires. Awesome food at affordable prices. I would highly recommended for everyone.
i just went for a quick lunch as we were rushing. it was good but not as quick as we expected although only less than 10 customers in the restaurant.
food was good, ingredients were fresh and flavourful!! the handmade pasta was slightly clumpy though, probably due to the thin and smooth nature of it! nonetheless it was good :) + the tiramisu was rly pillowy soft!! staff was also friendly and helpful!
really fresh pasta but tagliatelle with truffles was a bit on the dry side.
Pasta was affordable and tasty. I ate cream sauce penne. Sauce was creamy and cheesy yet not too overpowering. My friends ate handmade pasta and their reviews were good too. Pasta was soft yet chewy. Restaurant ambience was also great. Quiet and clean.
Food was good, had the Italian sausage ravioli which was well done with freshly sauce. Food took a while to come out, but that was expected on a busy Friday night. Great place!
nice affordable homemade pasta. Quite a lot of seating though not a big place. Can try the various egg pastas. Italian beer was light and others available too.
Nice and affordable food with great portions. The space and dining area was a tad small though and could be very noisy as we were seated near a very huge grp of 10 pax. Nevertheless, will return again for the awesome food. Recommending the tagiatelle w bolognese, the italian sausage, mozzarella pieces and truffle fries!
Food was very affordable and pasta was really good. Other than the pasta I’d recommend the portobello fries. It comes with some garlic butter dip which was REALLY GOOD.
Great place. Value for money. Homemade Pasta. Good quality ingredients. I enjoyed the Al Ragu sauce the most. A nice way for the family to spend a meal together.
Excellent calamari and truffle fries. The ambience is quite nice and best of all, there is no gst and service charge for this restaurant. However I feel that the pasta is so so.
Like the food. Ordering process is smooth. Collection process of the food needs some leg work, depending on the number of dishes ordered. Overall dining experience - pleasant
They were understaffed, pasta was over cooked and dry (all clumped together). Calamari was not too bad, fried mozerella could use a little more seasoning... Aside from the very friendly and helpful staff, everything else was terrible.
Ambience was good but the food wasn't delicious. Pasta was slightly hard. Overall, I think it is quite average considering that its price point was affordable.
Nice small restaurant with authentic Italian food. Great service from the staffs and really value for money.
servers were very enthusiastic and generous with their explanations. the portions were adequate, and they offer an added of $2 for more pasta. desserts were at $6.80 nett, prices are reasonable.
A fuss-free, casual Italian restaurant that has a wide menu of pastas! There is no service tax or GST, which keeps prices affordable for good quality pasta in an array of unique varieties.
Hits but some misses, the handmade pasta was stuck together despite tossing well with the sauce and a little overcooked. Portobello fries are good, a little oily. Steak a hit.
Had the pork chop with martini sauce and it was really good! Curious to try the pastas as well. Decent, simple resto. Wish they served water though! Had to fork out $3.50 for Italian mineral water (I don't like sweet drinks).
The pastas were not hot when served. They had a special for the day which they called a ravioli but turned out to be tortellini — quite a faux pas to make for an Italian joint. The tortellini was also doughy and didn’t taste like it was well cooked through. It was affordable but was overall disappointed by the pasta. Service was functional but lacked warmth.
First time dine in this restaurant on Valentine's day. The restaurant has a decent atmosphere. Was seated on a long table which is ok but the seats are not comfortable as the bar chair is too small for an adult. Pretty uncomfortable throughout the meal. Food wise were ok. After ordered, we were given a device which will have a loud buzz sound when the food is ready to be collected. The buzz sound is so loud that every table buzz sound is pretty disturbing and spoiled the atmosphere.
Good pasta (we got the ragu and carbonara - both were nice). The sauce is not show-stopping but the noodles are great, especially the hand-made ones; would come again.
Not bad for the price. Would come back again for a quick lunch.
A quick bite before flight. It was good, as it was quick, simple and easy. after so many times visits, i just realized that soft pastas are home made, the hard ones are purchased outside. this explained the pasta stock on the corridor of the restaurant. I will order the home made one next time... one FR chocolate each was a sweet surprise for V day dining. thank you.
Had the Aglio Aglio with prawns, Buttered Porcilini and Portobello fries. Awesome and authentic! Nice ambiance and Value for money also! Would definitely visit again!
Pasta was yummmy though the portion could be bigger! Enjoyed a meal with the nice ambience and easily accessible. Would recommend trying out their pasta.
