no frills, good old school Teochew Cuisine with reasonable cost

we enjoyed very authentic teo chew food. definitely worth the visit!

One of the few restaurants that sells Halibut. tasty to do it the teochew way.

Comfortable table setup in the main hall accompanied with the traditional teochew dishes.

Nice teochew dishes. Liked the big oysters in that comes with the Oyster Omelette.

They cannot cope with the volume of customers. Many dishes are not available or have to wait for very long. Very disappointing encounter.

The steamed halibut was good, but at market prices. The oyster omelette had almost no oysters, but we also liked the ngoh hiang and the chai poh kway teow. The duck platter was okay, if a tad gamey in taste.

The dishes recommended, ba bao duck and spinach with abalone mushrooms, are over-rated and over priced. Servers are not all friendly. Not sure if they can understand us (as some are non Chinese)
