Food tasted good. This place is not for the ambience. Service was ok. Not cheap but reasonable. Need to reserve a table especially during weekends. Very noise place due to good business.
Go early to avoid the crowd especially on weekend dinner.
Good food and good service I will come to eat again
Food is good! Highly recommended for everyone. Service staff short on manpower though
Good quality food and service. Great for meal with family or friends.
Authentic Teochew food, interesting spot in an old mall, packed on weekends
The service staff were friendly and responsive. We enjoy the meal. However, the serving of each dish was small and the cold crabs were a bit disappointing for the price we paid. Overall, the dishes were fine.
Some dishes are overcharged as they are pretty standard dishes that you can get elsewhere.
Had lunch and was great food and service. Always consistent whenever I visited.
Value for money, however do note that not all crabs are available everyday. We wanted to try black pepper crab but was informed only cold crabs were available
food quite good but the prices are on the expensive side given that the environment isnt a proper restaurant setting.
There are times that the food are very good but times not too good. I have feed back personally to the restaurant when I pay the bill
Food was great. Love the steam Halibut and braised duck.
I’ll sum In just 3 words - Delicious; Reasonable Prices
More crowded on Saturday than weekday nites.. Better dinning service n ambience on week nights.
Food are reasonable price and good. The dinning ambience is average.
Good food great service! Will visit again. Recommended to friends too
Nice view, food okok only but can eat la :)
Fast and good service. Would recommend to friends to the restaurant
Food was ok. But service is really really bad. Waiter kept selling the dishes even though we told her we do not want the dish.
Steam fish is quite ex at $85, considering the restaurant location.
The food here is quite nice. The service is ok.
Nice dining place with affordable good food. Just that the service staff not very friendly.
2 dishes were way too salty, fried noodles was tasteless, steam halibut came out dry on the pieces near to edge. dishes that we have tried before doesn't taste as good as before, not sure if it is due to change of cook. Female staff were unhelpful and a bit rude. Rejected our extra order, told us we have to wait for 1 hour for an extra dish. One heard wrongly when told we did not receive our bottled drink and gave us bottled drink and a pot of tea (which we already have) and blamed us for the mistake she made. It was a Father's Day dinner but my dad didn't enjoy the food. Disappointing
Food is tasty and fresh, especially the seafood. Authentic teochew cuisine!
Food is quality but service need to improve. Not hot as its's airrcon environment.
Generally food is good and prices reasonable, will be back soon.
Service was efficient and fast. We appreciate the waitress checking about some of the dishes and informing us that two ordered had oyster sauce premixed in them ( one of my guests was allergic to oyster sauce) and we made some changes then. The prawn crackers were very good. Overall, the dishes were delicious and we will certainly return soon.
Food is delicious, crabs are fresh! Will come again! =)
Overall, a very pleasant experience and very good food. My guests were very happy that I brought them there. Minor complaint about the staff not being very responsive other than the supervisor.
Fine cooking and quick, good service even with the large weekend crowds.
Business is too good for them and they simply cannot cope with the number of staff. Service is beyond bad as we were told very rudely that we must leave by 7.40pm when we just got seated at 5.45pm. There is more than enough time to complete a pleasant dinner if the service is efficient and customers should never to given such command. Will not come bad again!!!
Food is still pretty ok, but they start clearing your empty plates at like 2.30pm even if you are still eating.
The woman taking our orders was rude. She doesn’t even look up and make eye contact with us when she took our orders, only kept prompting us to order larger portions of the dishe(we couldn’t finish what we ordered that evening anyways so her suggestions were not accurate). When we had special requests, she walked away without looking back and gave only an ok hand gesture. She was wearing a suit on Friday evening, seemingly one of the managers or perhaps the lady boss there. The quality of service could have been better since the food is nowhere near fantastic anyways.
great traditional teochew cuisine. can get busy especially during the weekend.
$50 for each small cold crab appears pricey. The Chye Poh Kway Teow was not up to expectation as the Kway Teow were not "burnt fried" and "soggy".
4th visit. The quality of food and service are the main attractions.
Repeat happy customer. However, there seems to be some confusion about the reservation time. I received a call around 12.15pm to check if we are still coming because our reservation is for 12 noon. Told the person on the line that we are on the way. However when I checked back on the reservation, it was showing 12.30pm. Luckily it's for lunch whereby there's no crowd, else we will end up not able to dine there.
The food is good and staffs are friendly. Will come back again.
The food is served warmed & freshly prepared. Quite authentic Teochew style cooking & flavour. Good for family gathering.
