The claypot tofu is nice and goes well with rice. Cai po Hor fun has wok hei but can do with a bit more flavours. The fried yam coated with sugar makes a good dessert.
Nice for a family dinner. Young and old will like the food, the oyster egg is a must order. Very tasty and yet not oily.
Thanks for the nice dining experience. Will visit again definitely
Service is good, almost like a server per table. Not sure is it lunch time so can have such arrangement. The yam paste is nice and "kung ba pao" is tasty too. Basically, the food that we ordered are good. Jus the steam fish sauce a bit salty but is very fresh including the steam prawns. Thanks.
Good variety of food. Nice choice to dine in at
Good choice to dine at with family or friends. Nice
Great food and friendly service staffs. Food serving are of good portion. Ample parking lots for driver.
The dishes are good especially the Orh Nee which is most authentic one that I have tasted so far.
We loved all the dishes except the fried Mee suah was a bit let down. Thumbs up for the Steam Halibut.
Parking in the building was expensive, but food was good.
This is my go-to place for authentic teochew food.
Delicious and value for money. Will be back again .
An authentic teochew restaurant with many tasty dishes at reasonable prices.
Yummy cooking and good service. Ample parking too. Will return.
Ordered the chai poh kway teow. Pretty good and served quickly.
Food taste is OK. Fish is delicious and sweet to drink all the soup. Premium price fish.
The food was good, especially the cold crab. Service was good too, courteous, helpful and not pushy.
Food was delicious and serving portions was just nice. Friendly staff and service was good.
Food was good with great presentation but think a bit pricey for the steam promfe. Will still go back.
Ordered a dish which we specify less spicy so the kids can consume. Unfortunately, the kitchen did not bother with what was printed on the order sheet and the dish was sp spicy resulting one less dish for the kids. Upon payment, when I told the cashier about this, she remarked that we do not appreciate spicy food. I was so upset as I told her that we even ordered the fish head curry and finished it. She did not bother at all. Bad service. Food is not comparable with price.
Staff is friendly. Service is fast & food is authentic & tasty
Very nice teochew dishes! Nice enviroment for family gather. God for it
Service required too long. Time taken to serve the last 2 dishes took exceptional long.
Good is great as always. Service is also good and prompt.
Nice and authentic teochew food. Staff are friendly and helpful despite the crowd. Enjoyed the orh nee, fried kway teow with cai poh, braised pork with steamed bun, prawn roll and fish maw soup.
Regular customer at this outlet. Definitely will continue to come back from time to time.
Food is good but prices have gone up. Good old school vibes and still worth a visit from time to time.
Awesome authentic teochew food. it's located at the ground floor of the shopping centre so there's air con.
Hor fun, orh jian, pork belly buns are all tasty.
old school teochew restaurant in an old shopping mall. seatings are spacious. some dishes taste good.
Attentive service, though a little noisy ambiance. The food is satisfying, especially loved the perfectly balanced, hot yam paste.
Food was really unexpectedly good , it was our first time and can understand why there are many old timers. The steamed Halibut fish was really fresh
Food is good but portion has shrunk and food order is also super messy. We had our plain rice served way before any of our dishes came. Ordered the large fish soup but the soup wasnt even enough to fill the 10 tiny bowls they had, and we waited for a good 15mins before the top up soup arrived. The kids were waiting for their crab fried rice which only came at the end of dinner. It also seemed less crowded then before.
excellent. food is constant and price is inexpensive. great service
Mon 7pm, not crowded at all, about 3-4 tables only. Service was good, food speed was comfortable though I did expect them to be faster as it wasn't crowded. Dishes came out 1 by 1 instead of togetherness. Assam fish curry pot was abit too sweet to our liking, 虾酱鸡 was just normal fried chix taste. Chye pork noodles and oyster omelette was nice. Went there because we liked the atmosphere. Spacious and airy.
Overall the meal was good, my siblings and in-laws were quite impressed with some of the dishes like fried kway teow, pork bun and orh nee. While they found some of the dishes a tad salty, the promfret was slightly overcooked but still ok.
Overall happy on the entire experience except the aunty who was anxious to collect bowl with unfinished soup insisted to pour out remaining soup for instant collection. Insisted collection to be done later. Brother-in-law enjoyed those dishes and suggested return to try others out.
We ordered oyster omelette, pomfret and kway teow. All are delicious but pomfret is very expensive.
The dinner was overall great. The general experience smooth and comfortable.
Food is good but bit on the high side given the location. Hard to get service at times given the number of customers.
Authentic Teochew cuisine with local favorites like fish head curry. Service was brisk. Best in larger groups to try more dishes
Food is generally decent though quite expensive. 👍: curry fish head, prawn crackers, steamed rice 👎: kai lan, omelette, prawn rolls (hei zho)
Food is nice and serving of food is quite fast.
Very pleased with food n service. We had a good meal
Old school teochew restaurant. Food was tasty. Spacious seating area.
The braised duck tasted gamey during this visit. The rest of the dishes are still as delicious!
Nice teochew food, the 虾枣, steamed fish and duck, orh nee were really good. No waiting queue for lunch on a sat
I have been to this restaurant many many time. The standard is good
Family enjoyed the variety and quality of food. Thank you
Overall, it’s good. Would have been perfect had they have stock for their popular dish cold crab. It was a surprise that their wine collection quality is good however. Let down by no stock.
