The food and the wine were both fantastic. I hope there are more vegetarian options added in the future though...
As usual it was amazing. Sometimes gets a bit loud but food and service is great.
Food was great, their priciest pizza, the Garlic Truffle isn't really worth the price IMO, but their other pizza options are great. Love the spinach dip as a starter, best I've eaten!
2nd visits to Blue Lable Pizza & Wine we had enjoyed the food
Blue Label Pizza isn't and won't be the regular joint I hit up if I'm trying to satisfy my usual pizza cravings, BUT if you want a spin on this crowd favourite, this place does not disappoint. The Julien Royer (limited edition) pie was amazing, everything went so well together - the crust that reminded me of a garlicky bagel seasoning, the salty guanciale (pared down to the most delicate, thin leaflets), the earthy umami-ness of the black trumpet shrooms, right down to the slivers of raw red onions - it just made sense. The carrot cake was a luscious slice of heaven; they nailed the ratio of cream cheese to cake. The heady mix of spices and toasted walnuts were the ultimate cherries on top of this bomb dessert.
Pizzas were superb but our experience was marred by the poor customer service. My suggestion to those thinking of reserving this place for a fun and relaxing night's out: Save yourself anxiety, grief and service charge by deliverooing your order instead so you don't have to rush through your meal and face the haughty wait staff. Hosted some friends in town for a short biz trip who wanted to try this place after hearing so many rave reviews. A friend ran late from a work meeting and we were waiting for her to respond on what to order (the lack of phone reception and wifi access for customers at their restaurant didn't help our situation). Service staff were impatient and constantly came to enquire and gave us the vibe that we've have overstayed our 2-hour slot and were not welcomed. The table we were allocated to was next to the kitchen by the speakers - not the most ideal location for any diner and most importantly, lacked the space to accommodate all of us and our orders. We requested a switch of tables to a larger vacant one next to us based on this reason but the wait staff insisted in a know-it-all manner that the table can accommodate up to 4 pizzas at any time. What a liar, the table could only accommodate 2 pizzas and we had to remove our phones off the table and a wine glass to do that, whilst they had to place the condiments like paprika and tabasco behind the couchette (HUH?!) and rushed to clear the plates to make more space. Our nightmare didn't end - we wanted to enjoy some desserts after our meal but they only had 1 dessert and a biscuit on the dessert menu, so we declined instead and the same haughty wait staff muttered under his breath: "that was fast" as he collected the menu. I definitely won't be coming back if I want a fun night out with some friends. Because we know we wouldn't be well taken care of for the night at this place.
We go to Blue Label pretty often, its our favorite pizza place in Singapore. Not only do they have the best pizza, but the have an impressive wine list. The salads and starters are fantastic and we always, without fail, order the artichoke dip! It's a must order!!! My favorite pizza is the Travis Supreme, and the kids can't get enough of the Original Famous. Best place in town, with great food and great music and excellent service! Oh, don't forget to try their soft serve ice cream if you still have room after all the pizza!
The unassumingly intimate pizzeria tucked in an alleyway: - Tables are a little cramped and conversation from neighbors is audible; you'll have to talk louder as well - The quality pizzas (both staple and seasonal), state-fair fries and soft serve ice cream are worth repeated visits - Service is attentive and impeccable Note: (On Weekdays) You may have to rush down after work to meet the 6:30pm booking or chill at a nearby bar whilst waiting for the alternative 8pm slot. I frequent on a monthly basis (weekday evenings) and the experience has been consistently great!
This is my 2nd visit to Blue Label Pizza & Wine - both times to celebrate my friend’s birthday. Thank you so much for making my friends feel so special by your little acts of service. I’ll definitely come back again.
The pizzas and the State Fair fries are great. I've tried almost all of the pizzas, and guest pizzas, and liked every one of them.The service also never fails. I had guests today who couldn't eat beef, lamb and pork, but the wait staff and kitchen were flexible enough to adapt the pizza toppings. Noise levels are always an issue. The poor acoustics and loud music makes conversations a challenge especially in a full house.
