My go to comfort food place when I’m having a stressful day

Not crowded on Deepavali public holiday. Food was served fast and it was nice having lunch in a not noisy environment

Beef skewer was tasty and lean with nice bits of chewy tendon. Quick service with helpful staff.

I love the skewers here. The price is reasonable and the quality and taste is great. The mala flavour is just nice not too spicy. Everything is cooked to order and you get a small heated tray to keep the skewers warm. Service is also great even during evening dinner time in the heart of Chinatown. Will come again !

Hey everyone, I want to share my recent experience at a restaurant where I topped up my account last year with SGD 90.99 remaining. At the time of top-up, the restaurant never informed me about an expiry date for the balance, nor did they send any notifications. When I returned this August with friends to celebrate birthdays, we were shocked to find the balance had been removed without notice. On top of that, the service was poor and the food quality had noticeably declined—many of us couldn’t even tell what type of meat was served. This really spoiled our celebration. Please be cautious when topping up accounts and make sure you understand all terms and conditions. First time trying out this place. I’ve heard friends rave about BBQ Box so decided to try this branch out. Good portion size if you’re not a big eater as most of the skewer places in the area serves huge portions. Taste-wise, pretty good but I won’t say I’m super impressed.

The waitress who serve our table is so professional and carried out with extra customer care. Thank you!! pls tips earn +2.25 to her wages. She deserve more than this actually 😍😇

Service and food was good! Just be wary of the noise levels, can get pretty noisy in the first floor. It’s better on the second level!

Wide selection of tasty skewers. The festive seasonal squid skewers were very tasty. Service was quick and good - when leaving, staff even suggested what to order for next visit.

First time visiting this branch. The food is not as nice as compared to other branches. The noodles were way overcooked. However, the service is good.

Overall good. With more Chinese BBQ opened in Singapore, this restaurant is no longer unique. Their food portion is rather small, taste was good for most of the items, but price is on the high side.

Experience was dampened only because despite making a reservation, i was given a table at a very corner end of the 2nd floor near the kitchen exit. If the restaurant was full, i could understand, however, i was the first to be brought up to the 2nd level for dinner service and by the time i left, the 2nd level was still less than half full.
