I made a reservation a day before for my lady's birthday. They helped me with a surprised birthday candle on the dessert platter. Well done!
It's a very enjoyable dining at Au Petit Salut. The Bavette Steak was tenderly done & blended well with the chef's signature mashed potato. The coffee was well blended. The ambience is relaxing with attentive good service provided by each staff. Highly recommended for good bonding with family, friends & business associates.
Good food, great wine and brilliant service. As I was with my 2 young children, Michelle (the service staff attending to us) had the initiative to suggest off-menu items to my kids. Great experience overall. Keep it up!
Fine cuisine, french dishes, good service, good wine, beautiful décoration. I spent a nice moment with my friends for the lunch. I recommend this restaurant for a lunch or a dinner.
We had a delicious meal and delightful service in a very pleasant setting. We had a really wonderful last night of our holiday. It is expensive, but value for money.
Nice, romantic and cozy indoor dining ambience, along with great variety of French dishes spoilt for choices. Will be visiting again in the near future! (^.^)
The staffs from all levels were professional from beginning to the end. Totally will recommend for events n occasions. Food is good so is the service.
Excellent and attentive wait staff. Great service. Great food. Will be back. They remember the notes I left in my reservation. Highly recommend for lunch
Good food great service nice atmosphere the desserts are yummy and wide range I especially love the creme brûlée which was delish and the wide range of mains.
Terrible customer service and the food is only average. We made two bookings at Au Petit Salute, a dinner and a lunch for the week after. During the dinner we had to ask twice for cutlery. When a diner complained that the dish was too salty, instead of an apology and dish replacement, we were told that the dish was meant to be very salty! (Because extra salty food is delicious?!) After we paid the bill and we leaving the restaurant, a waiter shouted at us for taking the wrong receipt. We were only given one receipt and did not appreciate being yelled at for an error that was not our doing. We insisted on cancelling the upcoming lunch booking but we told to speak to another waiter. WRONG! That is not how you get returning customers or appease diners who are obviously unimpressed with your establishment. We would not be going back and would definitely not recommend this restaurant to anybody looking for an enjoyable night out.
Pleasant and pleasurable. Foods is palatable. Table is little too small for comfort. Like the carpark - hassle free and next to restaurant. Convenient indeed.
food was very good. service was very good and attentive. price was reasonable for the quality of food. wine by the glass was also good.
We had the lunch set which was very value for money. Their service was also very prompt. We might come back again if they have a change of menu.
Very good food although some dishes are missed the mark. Decent wine list that is not too expensive and glad that they have 1-for-1 wine policy.
This was a special occasion dinner for my mothers birthday but I will definitely be going back as soon as possible! The wait staff were wonderful and really made the night special. The food is divine and there are so many yummy options to choose from.
The food was a pleasure, the staff were pleasant, the ambiance was delightful, the only reason I didn't have a 6 was because my favorite wine was not on the list (Carmenére).
Consistent quality and attentive service makes this restaurant a classic to come back time and time again for good French cuisine. Also good ambience for a romantic night out.
The service we had was great. Food arrived at our table was beautifully played. We had fish that was cooked perfectly. Vegetables was phenomenal. It was also plus that restaurant was set in lush, green surroundings. Only setback, I wished the Creme Brûlée portion was slightly bigger!
Nice place & food. Price is at higher range but considered ok.
Excellent food and great service. The set lunch is excellent value for money. We keep going back. Ambience is very suitable for both business meetings as well as social.
The service was excellent. The staff was knowledgable and eloquent. We had the beef cheeks with red wine sauce which tasted great. The beef was so tender that it literally melted in our mouth. The appetiser, soup and dessert were good as usual. Overall a great experience.
Great food and pleasant servers. Unfortunately, we were seated right next to a large and noisy children's birthday party which diluted the overall fine dining experience and ambience of the restaurant. We would have appreciated if the staff had warned us of the children's party in advance.
Set meals offered very good options to choose from. Service was fantastic and they actually anticipated what we need before we asked for it. Good wine selection
The service staff is competent and very attentive. The restaurant ambiance is cosy and comfortable. We re-visited the restaurant for a particular main dish which we enjoyed very much on our first visit, which unfortunately wasn't prepared as previously, it was undercooked, the flavour and taste was insipid and bland, too bad it lacked consistency. But having said that, we would still return to the restaurant as the overall experience was enjoyable.
Service was good, ambience was quiet. Good for group meetings.
Good value for money. I've always enjoyed dining at Au petit Salut The service is good and nice ambiance. Bought my brother birthday lunch there
We used to go to Au Petit Salut very often, but hadn't been for about a year. We had the lunch set menu. Ordered snails & smoked salmon salad for starters. Snails were good, salmon not so great - nothing really popped on the plate, plus the helping was tiny compared to the snails! Mains we had tenderloin (with a top-up of $15) & pork belly. Both dishes were well cooked, but lacked seasoning & sauces, and the portions were TINY. Dessert was creme brulee (biggest disappointment - tasted eggy & lacked a crunchy crust, the best part of a creme brulee!) & profiteroles (delicious, just the right amount of everything). Overall, lacklustre food & service. Don't think we'll go back.
Food was very good, beef cheeks and French snapper. The staff was warm, friendly and knowledgeable. Will be back. We were early for our booking and were ushered straight to our table. They even remembered we were celebrating our 22nd anniversary. Great job!
We had the lunch sets. The food was delicious. The service was attentive and friendly. The prices were reasonable. We look forward to going again soon.
My wife and I went there for our wedding anniversary. The ambient is just right. Price was reasonable. I ordered the Crispy French duck leg confit. Highly recommended.
Good relaxing ambience with good service. Variety was also interesting with some old Favourites since the Begining of time. Good for set lunch visits on weekdays or weekends
The ambience is perfect for a romantic lunch/dinner. Service was fast and pace was good. Food quality, standard was delectable! Will definitely come back again!
Nice ambience and great food, albeit the rather pricey main courses. The great service and cosy setup kinda made up for the otherwise "not so" value for money main course.
Ease of and almost instant reservation confirmation from Quandoo. Food was of good quality as usual, nice cosy ambience conducive for business discussion. Service was hospitable, prompt and warm. Thank you.
a favourite for business lunch. have been here so many times and this says it all. thank you and keep up the great work !
Nice ambience and affordable lunch set at only $38++. However the food quality has dropped since I last visited 2 years ago. Quite disappointed with the food actually but a nice quiet place to have lunch.
Excellent food! Plating was appetising. Ambience was quiet & romantic. Service was prompt & with finesse. APS crew was professional & friendly. Especially DeeDee, Fidz & Rowell.
Prompt service! Excellent food! The set lunch was definitely worth the price!
The ambience and location is good. Great food and selection of wine and service
As usual, the food was excellent! The ambiance was great, and the service warm and friendly. I brought a new friend and she loved the experience!
The service was excellent and food was pretty good. It would be nice to have some seasonal/monthly variations to the menu. Overall, a very consistent and good place to dine/date
We had an excellent meal at Au Petit Salut...service, quality of food and wine and ambiance were all excellent . We will definitely be returning
Location is quiet. We chose to dine in the outdoor area, which is adequately lighted. The ambience was very condusive for a quiet meal for a couple. The set menu was great, and value for money. The waiter was attentive, but not over-bearing. His service was excellent. We had a very enjoyable dinner experience.
Cozy place, easy to locate, for those looking to celebrate special occasion. price is fairly reasonable given the quality and the service standards but menu is somewhat limited
Pleasant environment and great service. Food is still very good. I liked the confit pork- very tender and juicy. Melts in the mouth texture. Dessert was cream bulee and it was not too sweet and with well crystallized top.
I always frequent this restaurant as I find the set lunch value for money, the food and service is excellent . Nice ambience too.
I booked for lunch one week ahead for two. I was disappointed that I was given a table right at the door. I had to request for another table which was available . It was a better and more private location. I was not too pleased with my linguine (the main course of a set lunch) as the sauce was too thick. It feels like the sauce had thicken due to cooling. On a positive note, the burgundy snails were very good and so was the coffee. The Creme brûlée could be slightly warm at the surface.
Good food, friendly service, nice atmosphere. Good choice of dishes on both the set and a la cattle menus. Nice choice of wines but they are expensive.
went for dinner, didn't manage to try their escargots as it is only available for lunch. Nevertheless , duck confit and beef tenderloin cooked to perfection, paired with excellent wine recommended by the staff.
Food and service were equally impressive. Au Petit Salut never disappoints! This is no wonder my late husband insisted on dining there before he returned to eternal glory!
