Fabulous, we enjoyed dinner especially for the quality of food and services. The foie gras poelee is fantastic! The menu for dinner is an invitation to travel to France.

Food was exceptional. Service was impeccable. Highly recommend the set menu. The panfried foie gras was melt-in-your-mouth good as you savor each bite. Ordered an additional lobster bisque as I was craving for it and it exceeded my expectations.

Love " au petit salut " , from the beautiful black & white , lovely setting and great food. We had a table outside and it's so peaceful and relaxing. Service was great as usual so was the set lunch menu. Will be back soon

We ordered the set dinner menu. The food was well presented and the beef tenderloin was done just right. Service staff was friendly and attentive.

The food and service was great! We had a set menu, seafood platter and a lobster pasta. We each had an entre and shared a white asparagus, which was excellent. The overall presentation of the food and taste won us over, not forgetting the attentive staff. Well done.

The set lunch menu is quite extensive compared to some restaurants which offer limited options. The food are good and staff are friendly and attentive too.

Warm friendly service. At the end of the lunch service, the staff had to reset the dining room for dinner. Instead of kicking us out as some places do, my friend and I were invited outside to the lounge area to continue our conversation and we were served water without asking and were welcome to stay as long as we liked. Well done Au Petit Salut!

Food was hot and good . The service was prompt and polite. Although we requested the air conditioned section, we had to make do outdoors. Cooling fans or outdoor aircon would be great.!

Food was excellent as always. Good selection and delightful flavours. Lovely service and ambience. However, there was no notice about the appropriate dress code for indoor seating.

Had the set dinner n all the dishes were great except for the duck for the main meal which was very chewy...n more than half of the main meal was not really edible. told the waiters...but no real reaction nor feedback....not impressed. please do not order the duck.

The place was quiet. The ambience and service are good. Waiter was patience with us and made the effort to introduce the menu. It was a memorable 16th Wedding Anniversary for my family.

It was a pleasant dining experience with attentive staff on a non peak weekday evening. The starters and desserts were wonderful. The duck breast main was good, however the steak could have a little more marination. It was still a good cut and properly cooked to medium rare...

The food was delectable, especially those Burgundy snails! Done to perfection. The service was excellent. And the ambience - quietly serene and soothing. The ideal setting for catching up with old friends.

Good variety of choice for weekday 3-course set lunch menu. Standards have been consistent over the years and the quality of food as well as portion more than reasonable. However, the Filipino server with a crew cut who welcomed us made us feel rather unwelcome. He hardly smiled the whole afternoon unlike the other servers. This is rare for a Filipino as they are usually very passionate about service. After serving us coffee and tea, he also did not bother clearing my dessert plate though I was obviously done with it and his hands were empty.

The service was good, staff were friendly and attentive. Food was delicious and served in good portions. At $39, the lunch set was definitely value for money.

Love the ambience of the place (I sat outdoors) and the service was remarkable. Ordered the angus beef steak and it was nothing short of amazing. Definitely coming back again!!

I am a regular patron of this restaurant and have always enjoyed their superb and authentic French fare. It is always a delight spending time with friends and loved ones here, with the excellent food and charming ambience. This particular visit with a friend from Canada, however, did not turn out as fabulous. She ordered the oven-baked snapper for her mains and the fish and vegetables turned out a tad salty. She highlighted this to the Manager (Filipino staff with no name tag) and he brought it back to the kitchen to ascertain that the feedback was genuine. As with most food, it will take more than a mouthful to verify the quality of the food fully. In this case, you must eat more of it to ascertain whether it was indeed salty. He came back to say that the kitchen staff did not find it salty and politely and slightly condescendingly, told my friend off by saying that there was nothing wrong with the food and that it was her palette that was “different.” In other words, she was at fault. With that, he promptly walked off without an apology or provided any recourse. Our reaction must have registered disbelief and shock, when after about 20 minutes, he came back with two Shirley Temples and offered it to us, again without any apology and in his condescending manner, said that it was to make up for the main course that my friend did not finish. With that, he walked away. I guess Au Petit Salut needs to look into retraining their managers and staff on service quality and standard, especially service recovery skills.

Service was attentive and Food was excellent. We had beef tenderloin and the cod, both were very good. The access to the restaurant could be tricky in heavy rain.

Friendly staff, nice ambience, good quality of food. Portion smaller than the last time however it could be because we had the set lunch this time.

The staff is very friendly. I have invited my 6 friends over, he was smiling all the time and always appears when needed. The food is well presented and tasty.

Dining at Au Petit Salut is a very good french dining experience. Foods are amazing and fresh. Very fine dining and they provide excellent service.

The food was good and tasty, however the heat is unbearable as we are goven outside seats even though there are some empty seats inside the air conc place. Food is good but service way behind the food standard. Cheers for the chef but not to the serving staff.

appetizer is delicious with nice display but steak is not juicy and overcooked, very disappointed Wine that waiter highly recommended is good, appreciate his attitube

The ambiance and service was outstanding. The food was creative and delicious. My wife is vegetarian and she was satisfied with her menu choices. Overall it is a venue we will return to for a delightful evening.

The brioche was too salted and oily. Except this the dinner was very good : excellent seasoning, meat perfectly cooked, first quality products. We will recommend this restaurant to our friends.

Nice food and good service with greenery area in Dampsey. My guest enjoyed meal and wants to come again. Lunch price is reasonable and high quality.

Service could be brought to a new level if the staff offer umbrella services, i.e. sheltering guests from the restaurant to their cars (or taxis).

Great food! Good service. We had the set lunch menu. Worth topping up for the crispy duck. Escargot for starters was good. Smoked trout for starters was also not bad.

Excellent service. Good knowledge of wines. Ambience was lovely. Not very crowded. Great for dates. $200 per pax for a starter, two soups, two main courses, a dessert and wine.

Have been here twice for 2 different parties. Variety on menu is good. Great food, great ambiance. Reasonably priced with good service. Will definitely come back again & again.

We are regular customers for the past few years. The service in this restaurant has deteriorated significantly compared to 2 years ago when i proposed to my wife. We came back here tonight because its my wife's birthday. However the waiters were snobbish and showed favouritism to foreigners and Caucasians in the tables next to us. We were not attended attentively by the waiters, our drinks were not refilled. Fortunately the food quality was good. Just because we are locals and did not order wine or as much as the others, but this does not give them rights to show us their attitude and poor service. Me and my wife were very disappointed and decided to leave early without eating the dessert. Thumbs down.
