The set lunch is really good value for money with a very large selection of choices. It is worth paying a little more to get the lobster bisque, which is rich and flavourful. Service was also excellent. If the weather is good, go for the outdoor seating. Pleasantly surrounded by greenery accompanied by the soothing trickling sounds of running water.

My secretary had a surprise birthday lunch treat by me and we've enjoyed the beef cheeks tremendously at Au Petit Salut. The candle on the desert was a good gesture!

Food and service were equally impressive. Au Petit Salut never disappoints! This is no wonder my late husband insisted on dining there before he returned to eternal glory!

It was a nice set lunch in a great location with ample parking. Food quality was great, portion size was just right for lunch, a good variety of choices for each course. On the downside, wine was expensive and the service was a tad rushed, with each course arriving too quickly after the previous, perhaps the result of it being a weekday lunch.

I was there for their set lunch menu. Service staff were horrible. Table I was at was shaky, and when asked for a change, was rigidly directed to a table near the entrance and told resolutely that no other tables were available despite several being unoccupied. When asked why can't I be moved to these other tables - was told they were reserved. In spite of this, tables that I preferred remain unused throughout our lunch right in front of the entrance (noisy, bustly, people constantly streaming in - ruining our lunch). Food was reasonable, but spoiled greatly by the service. Thumbs up to the pan seared foie gras and duck confit, pear tarte tatin was meh.

Good food, friendly service, nice atmosphere. Good choice of dishes on both the set and a la cattle menus. Nice choice of wines but they are expensive.

Good food and attentive staff. At times a little rushed. Plates could at times do with a little polish as they're marketing themselves as a fine dining restaurant.

went for dinner, didn't manage to try their escargots as it is only available for lunch. Nevertheless , duck confit and beef tenderloin cooked to perfection, paired with excellent wine recommended by the staff.

Excellent service with the friendliest of staff. Took my brother there for his birthday; his dessert came with a candle and a chocolate-sauce 'Happy Birthday' message although we did not inform the restaurant that it was his birthday. Very well done!

It was a lovely cool evening, and staff were very flexible with number of seatings that I had to change at last minute because some guests were late. Food was wonderful, service cheerful and warm. Highly recommended

Food was fantastic, service was great. We've been here twice now, and it has been excellent consistently. Perhaps my only gripe would be that the menu has remained the same, but that's a very minor point.

I love the decor of the place and the fact that there is an indoor and outdoor seating option. Several groups of people were celebrating their birthdays there (we included) and it was a nice and thoughtful gesture by the restaurant. The food is great too! Will recommend people to come here!

Good menu and well prepared food. Pricing structure disappointing: food - having several dishes in the lunch menu where supplement required, for what is a relatively ordinary ingredient, eg. Duck confit; wine - excessive markups, eg. Lowest price of $18/glass or $90/ bottle for an ordinary Cote du Rhone which will have cost the restaurant c25

The ambience of the restaurant is great, especially if you would like a quiet evening with your dining companion. The place is inaccessible though so it would be better to go by car/cab. Food was awesome, we had lobster bisque, pork cheeks, lobster pasta, dessert platter. Everything was delectable and we managed to finish every bit. The waiters were extremely attentive as well. Overall, an awesome dining experience!

Overall, the service was excellent but the food was a little lower than my expectations, given that this is a fine dining restaurant. The duck confit was a little too dry for my liking. However, the creme brûlée was delectable, without being too sweet.

I brought my girlfriend to Au Petit Salut for her 21st birthday and we enjoyed the great food and lovely ambience. Highlights were the seafood vol-au-vent or puff pantry that was chocked full with prawns, scallops and squid in cream sauce; crispy duck confit and pumpkin puree which was heavenly; seared black codfish in lemon butter sauce - the codfish was really fresh; and lastly chocolate and salted caramel tart which was rich in flavour. The pineapple mojitos were surprisingly refreshing too!

Had a wonderful time. Food was good as usual. My favourite place to hang out. There was a little hick up earlier. I made a reservation for 8 but an hour before the appointed time, I called to increase to 9 but when we got there, the table was set for 8. Whoever took my message/call obviously did not do anything.
