The food and taste is good! I am sad that they no longer on j passport program.

The lunch omakase set was excellent in taste and variety. Small portions of each item that add up to a very substantial meal.

Delicious crusty katsu freshly made and served hot. Very good service staff too.

Great tonkatsu that isn’t light on the wallet but you do get a quality meal for the amount spent. For the rice, ALWAYS go for the red rice instead of white rice (you’re welcome).

Always love Anzu cutlet. The batter is crunchy and refreshing. And the restaurant is big enuff for family with kids.

Ordered their seasonal Hokkaido fried pork which was soft and not so oily. Loved their multigrain rice.

The chef has been changed. No more Japanese Chef. Not worth the Japanese prices. The tonkatsu is too dry, the cabbage is now too coarse, and the soup has also deteriorated. Service standards have plummeted!

Tonkatsu here is quality fare but the icing on the cake is the amazing brown rice. Definitely choose the brown rice over the white, not for health but for taste. The Caesar dressing is also a good accompaniment to the meal. Slightly tangy and not cloying.

It was a very quiet Monday and thus we enjoyed our dinner even more. Love the batter coz it’s very crunchy and fresh.

The pork does not taste oily and it was really good! Rice and cabbage are free flow

My fifth visit but unfortunately the katsu is quite soggy this time. Wish its standard was maintained.

Went for their hidden gem omakase/kaiseki lunch set a number of times already, because it's incredibly good value for what you get and the kind of place you're dining in. Lots of Japanese people around from the language they're speaking.

Lovely omakase lunch with good selection of tonkatsu, tempura, vegetables and other side dishes, besides chawanmushi, miso soup, free flow salad (yuzu sauce :). Attentive staff who explained all the different sauces.

Has the premium tonkatsu and it was great. Thick cut and juicy.

Third visit here and was disappointed that the katsu quality has dropped.

Nice tonkatsu, I like the cabbage salad. No longer serve pork bone soup option and no J-passport points accumulation anymore.

We had the daily limited sets. The price has increased to $22 before GST and tax. Some items like a steam tofu and the a strange vegetable spring roll does not taste good. It is no longer as value for money as it was before. Dun think I will visit it again

Possibly best tonkatsu in town, love it but the noise level could be improved.

Must ordered dish - fatty pork loin katsu literally melts in the mouth. It’s come with brown rice which is not the typical ones. Tasty & enjoyable meal

Food is good but very under-staffed, resulting in slow service which includes clearing of tables, utensils of previous customers. Really a pity and feel bad for the staff. Maybe just a bad night.

Rude manager who tries to overcharge customers and when called out, claims ignorance and honest mistake. Read many other reviews of customers with similar experience with the manager (overcharging and rude). Not recommended for any visit. Spend your money elsewhere.

Bad Service Food was okay but not for the price

The restaurant is a kid friendly even though they don't allow strollers to be pushed in. They did provide much help to accomodate to my nephew's carrier.

Ginza Anzu is famous for their katsu, they have their own direct supply of meat, hence the meat is of high quality and fresh. Always enjoy their delicious katsu meal.

Had the service lunch - as before nicely laid out with a wide selection of small items. Broccoli tempura today was particularly well done, crispy outside moist tender inside.

Excellent value omakade lunch set for which there are often queues so it's good to be able to make reservation via Quandoo. Service is very efficient and attentive

The restaurant opens at 11am. However the time slot available on your website was earlier. I had to book the earlier slot, and waited outside the restaurant to wait for them to open shop.

The ginjo tonkatsu is always very juicy and succulent. The pickles and pork belly soup goes well with the tonkatsu

Service was bad. Called waiter but waiter ignored. No drinks also. Only soft drinks available.
