Wonderful atmosphere with wide array of drinks selections. 6 dollars happy hour drinks is definitely worth the visit. We ordered the Carbo Load as well as the popcorn chicken which are very delicious.

Great food fantastic staff. The food was served fast. Definitely one of the best cafes in esplanade. Will be back for more next time !!

Food was okay. Ambience and service was great. Pricing is reasonable. Happy hour craft beers has a good pricing @ $6 per bottle. Overall experience okay.

My second trip to Alter Ego. Tried the Umami Omega this time around. The salmon was fresh and the kale chips was crunchy and lightly salted.

beers were on promotion, it only cost 6 dollars from 6 to 9 pm. great place to chill with friends. food portion was reasonable for the price.

The food was too salty especially the pulled pork dip and fried chicken skin. We couldn’t even finish half of it. A waste of my money.

My friends and I ordered pizza fries, pokebowls and burgers. Food was ok and pokebowls were a nice new experience. Didn’t really like the iced chocolate or mocha. Latte was still ok for me. Service wasn’t what I expected and staff could be friendlier and more pro-active.

Food and ambience are all wonderful. Will come again, good place for gathering with friends for lunch or dinner. Thanks for having us. Love it!

Food was great but the seats arranged was not what I expected. Low seats table are preferred it will be better if we could left the comments to the staff in advance on the arrangement. Thank you.

It’s birthday month for my friend and we both want to go to alter ego! Had the poke bowl and it’s very filling for ya already. We’ve separately recommended to different friends and will just keep going back!

Staff were familiar with menu offerings and promotions. They were able to advise accordingly and paid attention to our needs. Polite and friendly staff as well.

Asked for a proper seating but only had bar tables which totally spoilt the mood for my date. Disappointed with the arrangement even though I had booked in advance. The outdoor seating doesn’t even have fan. Overall, a rather unsatisfactory and unworthy dinner.

A nice dinner place for a gathering with friends :) Though it can be a little too noisy. The food is good, only the buffalo wings a little too salty for our liking.

Really good food over at Alter Ego. The service from the staff was quick and easy, as none of them were too pre-occupied when we were there. If I would recommend a dish, order the Southern Fried Chicken Burger. It was sinful beyond belief...

Nice atmosphere. Food served very promptly. Original Poké bowl served with fresh salmon , in generous portion, highly recommended. Likely to revisit this place again.

Food is good and reasonably priced. The service can be improved; for example, a glass with ice should be served with the drinks. I had to ask twice for water.

Great food, great ambience - would have been great if the dishes were served together, after my dish arrived my friend had to wait for another 15 minutes before her dish came.

Food was great as usual, but dessert was definitely overpriced. Great ambience but the red neon light can be a bit painful for the eye after a while.

Great atmosphere and lovely food. Would definitely recommend trying their signature poke bowls. Healthy yet delicious and you don't have to feel guilty about having them. I would recommend to go with a group of friends and share a couple of bowls.

I'm a regular at Alter Ego since their opening. I like their poke bowl mix and it's very yummy! They just launched $15.90 lunch set, so get coffee/tea with your order! If you want also are able to eat some "sinful" but super delicious sides, be sure to try their fried chicken skin, fried fish skin or the pizza fries. You won't be disappointed. If you want more food options, try their burger also. They also serve a lot of drinks like mead, cider and other drinks. Highly recommended! 😉

Loved the food at alter ego! The grilled cheese pulled pork sandwich was awesome. We ordered two servings. Try the poke bowl and iced mocha too!

Service was fast, ambience was good and the food was yummy and affordable. My personal favourite to-go place for poke bowls! My third return visit here.
