Of the many fine dining and drinking establishments housed along City Hall’s Temasek Boulevard in the luxurious Conrad Centennial Singapore Hotel, Golden Peony is the most focused, and the most critically-acclaimed. Executive chef Ku Keung has created a menu consisting exclusively of Cantonese dishes, carefully matched by a list of wines selected for their ability to harmonise with the highly-specific cuisine on offer. This restaurant consistently makes it into food critics’ top picks; we recommend that you book well in advance to secure a table at one of Singapore’s best Chinese restaurants.

Take a look at Golden Peony’s weekend dim sum experience and weekend dinner family menus, or check out the very special tasting menu brought to you by none other than executive chef Ku Keung!
The Conrad Centennial Singapore Hotel welcomed Chinese chef Ku Keung to their flagship in-house restaurant in 2005, luring him away from the last of several stints as chef in the kitchens of top global dining destinations. Since then, he has been busy transforming this Singapore Chinese restaurant into the award-winning and critically-acclaimed institution that it is today, a reputation that is the envy of many other luxurious restaurants in the spoiled-for-choice City Hall area. Find Golden Peony down Temasek Boulevard, open for lunch and dinner, and give Keung’s superlative Cantonese creations a try.
Golden Peony is a gorgeously appointed restaurant located on the third-floor of the Conrad Centennial Singapore Hotel along Temasek Boulevard, with easy connection to Esplanade and Promenade stations in the City Hall District. Whether you choose casual dining or book the private dining area, expect Chinese cuisine of a highly-specific Cantonese stripe to be on offer: double-boiled soups, Peking duck, signature dim-sum, braised Wagyu veal cheek served Cantonese style with leek, garlic, spring onion and baby bak choy. A favourite is the steamed mian xian vermicelli noodles with lobster and egg white in Cantonese wine broth. An exceptional Chinese restaurant in Singapore.
