Wide variety of food available! Alter Ego served great food and restaurance has a good ambience! Service staffs are well trained, enthusiastic and prompt in taking orders and clearing plates!

The Poke Bowls were delicious. I am slightly disappointed at the lack of variety of beers as we were told some of them were out of stock on that day itself, but the happy hour promotion did make up for it slightly.

Had the scrambled eggs for brunch and overall was pretty good. Only downside is that the it felt more like an omelette, there wasn't much accompanying sides besides the toast and eggs. Had to order add-ons for the plate to look more full.

Not crowded. Food is tasty. Staffs is nice And helpful. Ambience is nice. Price moderate. Will definitely be back again for other food on the menu

I really enjoyed the poke bowl. It was really filling and the portion was generous. I enjoyed the different ingredients in the bowl. What a great Saturday afternoon brunch.

Very value for money set lunch at $15++ for a poke bowl and a drink. Top up $4 for a healthy dessert. Heartily recommend! A+

Nice food at affordable price . However we asked for ice water but the waiter forgot about it 😂 overall is good and will recommend to all.

Food was good, the whole concept is good pretty cool. Just wished they at least had a candle for birthdays. Received the pre-ordered cake without a candle, didn’t make sense.

Food choices are interesting, and tasty too. Price was acceptable. Only downside was the fact that the service may become slow when the place is swarmed, which happens quite frequently during our two-hour meal. Fortunately, the servers’ attitudes were still good and made up for the wait.

The Grilled cheese sandwich and cilantro chicken wings were very good.

Sunday menu is very different to weekday so don't expect your favourites but do expect yummy choices of healthy and sinful . Crowd was good.

Great food and good atmosphere! Great places to hang out with friends. We ordered the "pulled pork dip" served with toasted bread. It was absolutely delicious!

Waitress was very friendly and sweet, food was fresh and delicious. Would come back again. Downsides: 1. certain beverages were not available and this was not clearly indicated in the menu (e.g. chendol, butterscotch beer. Upon enquiry, the waitress revealed those drinks were discontinued. A menu update would be timely. 2. Jug of tea = cup of tea shaped like a jug. 3. Poor management and attention given to guests seated Al fresco - possibly the glass inhibited staff from seeing patrons outside

The food and ambience was good. However, the chairs were too stiff to sit on for long and there wasn't any backrest. No complains about the food and drinks though, it was good.

It would be good if there were lower tables for 2 to chill indoors, rather than simply bartop tables. Bar bites were great and dainty!

Didn't really have a good experience here. We were told we had to order the Vday sets so we ordered 4 sets and chose 2 desserts and 2 sides (which needed $8 top-up for each side). Waited very very long for our food and halfway through we were told that the desserts were no longer available and we were asked to switch the 2 desserts to sides instead without charge. As we already had 2 of the pizza fries, none of us eat chicken skin and these were the only sides on the Vday set, we wanted to change to something else on the sides menu that was outside of the Vday set. What we chose were cheaper than $8 but were told that if we wanted to change to these cheaper sides, we had to top up the full price because these were out of menu. We couldn't understand the inflexibility, after all, we were entitled to 2 sides; already we were picking cheaper ones and the sides menu are available for ordering that day. Tried to explain and all these happened while we were still waiting for the rest of our food which took approx 45mins to fully arrive. And the restaurant wasn't even crowded To be fair, we were allowed to pick other sides in the end (after a reaaally long time) and the staff remained polite. Food was average.

Overall food portion is a lot. Dessert like chicken skin and pizza fries is normal only. Ambiance ans location is good and convenience. M m

The restaurant’s ambience is not too bad with the beautiful scenery that is ahead, It is quite a good place for dating. However lighting could have be less yellow!!

no ambiance. relatively unfriendly staff. we were 4 people. food showed up at different timings although we all ordered at the same time. advertised as brunch restaurant but don't have any juices. wouldn't come back again.

The service staff had good product knowledge and were able to recommend items on the menu for us. They were alert and prompt in attending to us too :) We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves although the food was slightly on the pricey side.

Great ambiance even in outdoors especially on Friday nights as there's performances at Esplanade stage! My favorites were pokebowl & its fries as side dish.

Tried the spam chip and grilled cheese toast. still room for improvement on the food. Poke bowl is worth a try. Service is great, servers are prompt amd helpful!
