my booses commented the environment and food are nice. there have one drink call sunshine (if i not wrongly remember the drink name) is nice. And the area is just a walking distance to merlion.

Excellent poke bowls, and short rib grilled cheese; perfect for a pre-symphony dinner. Decent value and quick, friendly service. We come here every couple of weeks before going to the SSO at the Esplanade - 10% discount for ticket holders.

Well the food was alright, the poke bowls were good (note that it doesn't come with rice but tortilla chips), but the service was pretty horrible. The waitress who served us looked unwilling to serve, and forgot our request for glasses of water. We were waiting for it the whole meal and were thirsty (their food is on the salty side of the scale) but had to order other drinks. Then we saw that other tables had their glasses of water. Plus, the meal wasn't cheap and we had to go look for cafes after that to quench our thirst?? Sure thing.

The staff are very friendly and are very helpful. I love the ambience and most importantly, the food is delicious. Would definitely go back again.

In general food and service is good. Love their Umami Omega and they have some special ciders - like the pineapple cider. Would definitely return again.

Chill ambience. Great place to hang out with friends. Food was nice but portion was not as much as I expected it to be for the price. Good to try though!

This is my go-to eatery before watching a concert at Esplanade. The poke bowl served here is delicious! Would definitely go back again for their poke bowls.

Slightly overpriced but Alter Ego definitely have great service and nice ambience. great place to chill after school or work. Thumb up! Will definitely visit again!

Good food and nice ambiance. Staff are polite and services are good. However food are not served according to sequence. My small bites came after one of main dish was served. Well it's not a big deal but I guess they can do better about this.. Overall I like this place 😁

Alter Ego is the brainchild of the same team behind A Poké Theory, but with another side to it - decadent, sinful and equally enjoyable. From the contrast between the pillowy bun, snappy sausages and broad flavours of the Chilli Dog, to fried chicken skin dusted with paprika that is airy and crisp, Alter Ego's offerings are well-executed versions of classic comfort foods.

Aloha poke bowl was served in generous portion. Pizza fries definitely a must order as well!

Best time to go is before 630pm! It's peaceful and great time to spend it alone with your friends and loved ones. Great desserts! Loved the pies they offered, really silky and smooth, and not too sweet. Poke bowl was flavorful.

Ambience and food was great! Had 2 poke bowls, pizza fries and chicken skin. Too much for 2 person as the poke bowl itself was already filling. Chicken skin was extremely addictive!

Spacious venue and layout which feels a lot less stressful than some F&B places that crams maximum seating. Art vibes are strong with a front lining graffiti wall design, food was not too bad. Overall, a place worth checking out and just chillin.

Interesting selection of food, great quality and taste. Will definitely re-visit. Would recommend picking table rather than bar seats, especially if you're in a group.

Alter ego has friendly staff, great food and ambience. Try the poke ball and pizza fries if you're hungry. They are definitely worth trying it.

The overall ambience is comfortable and rather urban chic. We thoroughly enjoyed our main courses (poke bowl and grilled cheese) but the desserts were rather one note sweet and not very satisfying.

Food was good, customer service was alert and quick. Food also arrived fairly quickly despite the restaurant operating at almost full capacity. The waiters and waitresses were also very polite to us and didn't feel intrusive

Chill vibes, great for gatherings and chilling sessions with a beer or two. Pizza fries was great and sinful, and the bowls were great. Servers could be slightly more attentive given that it was a Tuesday night

Great place to hang out and able to accommodate any group of people as they have many different seating available! Very interesting concept which serve both healthy and less healthy food options hence the shop name! Love it!

Nice ambience and location ( i sat outside in the evening for dinner ). Food wise abit pricey but i like the poke bowl. Worth one visit i suppose.

awesome food always. never fail to order the same usual poke bowls and tater tots. remember to try the chocolate coconut milk if you can!

One of my fav food place as usual, though I didn't get the table of choice as requested. But quality of food is definitely more important.
