The service at restaurant is prompt. Ambience was comfortable and pleasant. Price of food is affordable and yummy. Had an enjoyable experience overall. Will definitely visit again.

Good atmosphere, interesting food. The place is not too crowded as well. Go early and try their Poke, which serves till 8pm only, don't miss it.

Food was fantastic! Recommend the grilled cheese sandwhich, da bomb! Sat outside with great ambience that accompanys our dinner. Good for late night gatherings too!

Pokebowl was very good, definitely value for money. Loaded taters were tasty and portions were generous. Staff were friendly and overall service was above average.

I had an excellent time at Alter Ego. The poke bowl was wholesome and good. I just wish the chunks of fish could be larger. Also tried the pizza fries and it was very good value for the price. The cheese used for the dish wasn't the usual 'cheap' type of cheese that most eateries used so I really appreciated that. The caramelised ikan bilis tasted wonderful too though it would be good if they served it in smaller portions as it was a bit too much for two people to share. Great experience!

Taste wise is not bad asesthics wise also not bad but food selection abit limited

Staff were very friendly even though I was slightly late for my reservation. Food was good and priced very reasonably! Cost probably about 30 per person on average

When someone makes a reservation for 2, please do not assign them bar top seats. Other than that little hiccup, the food, drinks and other menu items combined with the chill atmosphere was definitely awesome stuff!

Really love the poke bowls. Friendly staff. It would be a bit hard to call for service if you happened to sit outdoors. Overall is still good

We had the original poke bowl which was delicious and had a generous serving. The tater tots were really yummy too. Service was prompt and attentive. Had a good time at Alter Ego. Thanks guys!

Came here to celebrate my friend's birthday! The staff were very eager to help me out in this so kudos for that. The birthday girl enjoyed her grilled cheese (FOR ULTIMATE CHEESE LOVERS) as did I, and we all loved the fried fish skin. Buffalo wings are a tad monotonous with a single layer of flavour - sour-spicy, that never graduated into a different taste, so skip that. Service-wise, there's a lack of clear floor management and procedure - the staff forgot to pass us our water and we had to ask thrice before another server got it for us very apologetically. It's also slightly unhygienic to be served water from a flask on the ground. What saved the day - nice food, servers were still very friendly and we pulled off the surprise successfully so thank you! I tried to be fair in this review, hope this helps y'all target what to improve!

Food was good and ambience was great! Ordered more dishes to be shared as portions were quite small but we were all really satisfied with the food :) Service was slightly slow though.

Nothing great about the place. The atmosphere was quite dull. Happy hours was for a selected few drinks only, to be precise for just 3 kinds of beer from a list of may be 20. Service was just bearable.

Really liked the ambience and the food was yummy. Bit to improve - gave the go-ahead to clear our empty bowls but our drink was cleared too.

The food is not bad but they don't serve ice water. Overall the experience is not bad. Hope there is more variety of mains because not all take raw food

The poke bowls aree soo yummy. However, the service needs some improvement. the food should come very fast but ours took arnd 50 mins as the staff forgot to key in our orders (only realising this aft we ask to one of them)

Food was not bad, loved the crunch of the grilled cheese, but overall taste could be improved. Portion was just nice. Service crew needs to pay more attention to customers though - kept waving and took a while before anyone came forward.

Had to get a drink in order to be served water. Food was pretty good, decent serving size. Not a fan of sitting at the high tables.

Enjoyed the refreshing poké bowls and sinfully good grilled cheese sandwich. There was a slightly overbearing service staff that pressed us to purchase drinks and somehow added a drink to our bill when we did not order it. Would appreciate it if that particular service staff refrained from such hard-sell tactics in future. That aside, food and ambience were great, would certainly return.

Ambience was perfect! The umami omega poke was wonderful. Highly recommended. Service staff is also attentive and the service was fast. Good for small and big groups.

Food was alright. Staff were a little distracted. Does not serve water at night for some funny reason. Why ah? Why? Otherwise not a bad place.

Food was super good! You must try the grilled sandwich especially! The Poke bowl and Pizza Fries were also good! Love it so much, will make this my regular joint.

We ordered the pizza fries and the umami omega. It was delish and the amount of salmon they gave was super generous. The ambience of the place was good for a chill catch up between colleagues.

The food was deliciously healthy and the portions were served just nice, especially the Pizza Fries! However, we were a little disappointed that there is no more custom poke bowl served.

Good, interesting and reasonably affordable food! The poke was good, and the lemon tart. Also good was loaded tater tots and grilled cheese (with beef short rib).

Nice environment. Polite service. Great food! Free music if you are seated outside. Not overly crowded but reservation on fri and weekends is recommended. :)

Huge and generous chunks of salmon. Cosy ambience both indoor and outdoor. Good service! Many items on the menu. Helpful counter staff. Will visit again

The service could be slightly more prompt. But overall a great dinning experience, the food was good and the concept was interesting (Eat Clean & Indulge Dirty).

It is a great place to hang out, have drinks and chill with friends, but I somehow wished that there was more variety in their food options. The original poke shaker bowl had a great mix of ingredients in it, but perhaps wasn't too much of a hearty meal. Would be a great option if you're in the mood for light eating/dieting. Grilled cheese sandwich, loaded taters and chicken skin was great-tasting and good for communal eating 😋 overall cost on the higher side for the small portions

Love the Eat Clean vs Eat Dirty concept and the Poke bowls were so tasty (although a bit small)! I love that they have a vegan version as well. The pomegranate tea is also recommended.

Poke bowls looks small in content but is actually quite filling. May be a tad too pricey for what's in the bowl though. But otherwise good ambiance and location for occasional dines.

Nice environment with a yummy original poke bowl. But a pity there isn't hot coffee served. Would be good to include that in the menu.

Made a reservation but ended up at the bar counter seats. Staff mentioned that it is necessary to request for a table seat during booking.

The food was good and it was served quite quickly. There were many unique choices of draft beer and ciders to choose from. Will definitely be back!

My friends and I agreed that the poke bowls are really good. But the sinful appetizers were so-so (we have fries pizza and pulled pork dip). Loving the long happy hour as well although the selections were limited. Would strongly recommend to do reservation early since almost all tables are reserved, even the high stool bars.

Waitstaff lacked attentiveness as we were seated outdoors. Food was good especially so for the poke bowls. A bit slack to be told that "as we are a bar at night, you'll need to purchase drinks to be served water". Yep, didn't get any water. Food's reasonably priced though, good ambience.

Food was good, its a healthy meal love the poke bowl and pizza fries, buffalo wing average not that fantastic and service not that bad.

The food was simply delicious and exceeded expectations. The place is a little understaffed, though; service was a little slow. Best to head over during off-peaks hours.

Really good grilled cheese toast with braised beef! Will definitely come back again. The smoothie bowl was however slightly bland,would be good if more cocoa and coconut shaves, and some crunch are added to it!

Really enjoyed the original poke shaker. The tea jug drink was the perfect cool drink to accompany this tasty and healthy dish. Great views too!

Not really ideal for big groups as the tables are big and it can get quite noisy indoors. Would go again in a smaller group for a smaller table so we won't have to shout across to each other. Food was okay, service was okay. Not a very memorable experience. Would try it again next time.

The options for us who prefer decadence to clean eating (cos it's cheat day!) were great. We are grateful for the prompt food service on a Sunday afternoon, and their happy service crew.

The portions were rather small for the price you may. Had a poke ball and wasnt satisfied after. Ambiece wise it is a nice place to chill by the esplanade overlooking the bay area. Would recommend as a coffee chill place with small bites rather than lunch or dinner.
