The sashimi was fresh and the restaurant is a good place to hang out with friends. This is my 2nd time visiting the restaurant, will go back again.

The food was great, especially the grilled cheese and cold brew. Service was quite slow, but not too bad for a Nee establishment. Will definitely be back

Menu not much selection, price ranges from $17 - $22. More for beef lover. No waiting time as prior reservation was made. Nice location in front of Singapore River.

Went there for dinner. Good food, good service. Just that the bowl for the poke bowl is too small for me to mix my food.

Love their poke bowl and came back to try Green Goddess. We love it! Will come back for the dessert next time round as we only managed to order the smoothie bowl - Berries.

Great food and great vibes. Must try: pizza fries, fried chicken skin and shortrib sandwich. You'll wanna enjoy the walk outside towards Jubilee Bridge before dinner and enjoy the sunset too ;) Nice spot for a date.

Food is not great. Half of the order was forgotten. Had to ask 3 times for it. Burger has quite bland and the cheese used for Jucy Lucy has no flavour.

Great food. Great ambience. Located at Esplanade which is easily accessible. The shortribs grilled cheese sandwich is awesome. Generous portion of melted cheese and beef. Must try!

Generally great food, ambience and service. Would highly recommend the Pizza fries and Seafood Gumbo. Poke bowl was a tad bland and they didn't have extra seasoning or condiments to make up for it. They gave me extra pizza fries sauce which was a bit weird but no choice. Would come back here again for the fries!

slow service - we had to repeat requests many times (simple one such as water, extra chair) - staff said yes, but never came back with our request. food is ok, we like it.

Good. Crowded as it is on a public holiday, a little too noisy and small table were given. Poke bowl is great and the grilled cheese too

The waiters served my friends and I tasty food efficiently and even ensured our cups of water were constantly refilled. Great job guys! Will be back for more good food and service for sure(:

It was crowded and despite having a booking, we (3pax) was still seated at the seating bar. However, staff tried their best to attend to us even though they were awfully busy. Good place and good job to the staff!

Service was good. Food was pretty good. Just wished they had served their poke bowl for dinner too. But overall was a good experience. Will return!

The environment is good and staffs are friendly. Easily located but the food can be a little pricey. Love the original poke bowl and overall it is an enjoyable experience there.

The food overall was great and the service was pretty fast. Our drinks, pokebowl and appetizers arrive shortly after we placed our orders. The staff were quite attentive to the customers although we waited a little more for our bill before another waiter noticed us. I guess the first waiter we approached was busy taking new orders and kind of forgotten us getting out bill. But the ambience was great, it's good place to chill and relax on a Saturday night. Will definitely visit again in future :)

It was a great experience! We made a reservation so we didn't have to wait. The staff were prompt to serving us and the food was delicious. It was really lively within the restaurant and we didn't mind one bit. The price was slightly on the high side. But overall I would recommend Alter Ego.

They have awesome poké bowls. Wonderful mix of fruits, nuts, sashimi salmon, vegetables and rice. Portion is just right and I loved it. Will be back again to try more!

The service provided was very slow. Environment was abit too noisy due to the loud music being placed. However, the Food was not too bad.

The restaurant has limited seats. Reservation is recommended. The poke bowl is value for money and delicious. Will visit again next time. Good service and atmosphere!!

Food was really good, I enjoyed the ribs/cheese sandwich and pizza fries very much. I would definitely go back again. We also had a poke bowl which was decent.. I guess they could probably have a wider selection of desserts?

Great food, especially the Umami bowl and Fried chicken skin! A great place for affordable beers and gathering with friends too. Can get crowded so be sure to make a reservation.

The food was good and portion was just right. The jalapeños cheddar dip was great with the fries and tortilla chips. We also ordered poke and chips, Cilantro Lime Wings and pull pork dip. All were awesome and mojito is good.

Food is great as usual. Ordered my fav poke bowl. Tried the pulled pork which was good though sinful with the buttered baked bread. Outdoor seats were hot but no choice as indoors was booked for a private event.

Food was good but service was slow for a non crowded restaurant. The service staff could have managed our expectations by letting us know in advance about the longer waiting time. Food could also have been served together rather than 20 minutes apart due to different preparation time. But I'll still return for the food.

i was lucky to get my hands on a poke bowl! it was perfectly mixed with the ingredients! many customers after me left cos they have stopped selling them for the night! fantastic food, laidback ambience and of cos the good service by the staff!

Food is awesome! Portion wise is alright. Service is prompt as well. Order 2 main and 2 small bites for 4 pax and sufficient. The teas are really good!

We love it here! I was here a few days ago and I came here again with some other friends after trying. I love the fact that we can get the eat clean and eat dirty menu because we can accommodate people of different eating diet. the eat clean menu ends at 8pm (even though the website and a lot of reviews claim that it doesn't serve eat clean food in the evening!) love the atmosphere

I came here with a few friends from Europe and they adore it as well! It's a nice place to chill with my friends after exploring esplanade and merlion park nearby. Recommended

It will be clearer in communication to the customers through the menu if the menu for mains is only available till 8am. We were told that it is currently stated on website.

Ordered the umami poke bowl, juicy lucy burger as well as the pizza fries. I've to say its my first time there but will definitely not be the last. The pizza fries, albeit took super long to arrive (after i finished my mains) was super mind blowing. The cheese on top of the fries were really generous and complements well. However the fries itself was a little on the hard side. The poke bowl and burger were fantastic though. Cant wait to try our other food on the menu :)

Good was ok... service was not great. Only one of the waitors is helpfil. Most of the time waiting for service and there were mixed up on our food as well.

The food is nice and filling and price is reasonable. Luckily we made a reservation if not it will be hard to get a seat on a saturday evening.

Great service and ambience. Excellent food and choice of beverages. I ordered the Spicy Garlic Poke Bowl; it was super instagrammable and tasted good too!
