Thinking about making a WAKANUI Grill Dining booking?
WAKANUI originally opened its doors in 2011 in Tokyo and very quickly established itself as one of the top dining experiences in the city with a spectacular emphasis on dishes involving dry aged ocean beef and spring lamb. The team then decided to bring WAKANUI to Singapore’s Marina One and wasted no time in showing Singapore’s carnivorously-inclined what meat in New Zealand is all about when combined with the flair of the Japanese kitchen and the use of Japanese Binchotan charcoal.
Whether for lunch or dinner, WAKANUI Grill Dining will wow. Quality is very much prioritised over quantity, with a concise menu that features
some of the finest quality dishes that can be found within the Marina Bay area. You’ll find predominately dry-aged ocean meats cooked over a traditional Japanese Binchotan grill which is centrally-placed in the restaurant’s open kitchen. Start your dinner perhaps with New Zealand green lip mussels or terrine of the day, before moving onto grass-fed beef fillet, a full or half rack of WAKANUI spring lamb or Ito Wagyu fillet. Alongside all this, WAKANUI offer a curated boutique wine list full of New Zealand favourites which can be paired perfectly with the food on offer. Among these, of course, is Providence, undisputedly New Zealand's ultimate cult wine. As steakhouses in Singapore go, the WAKANUI experience is very difficult to match.
