SBCD Korean Tofu House - Tanjong Pagar Centre

Their food is ever tasty and I luv their side dishes. And I’m always amazed by how tasty their fried fish (side dish but only serve once) is. However, it would be perfect if their service staff can pay more attention to customer waving at them for orders, etc.

Tofu was nice but other than that, the food quality was so so.

We always make it a point to dine at SBCD tofu house each time we are in Singapore We love the food here, comparable to the BCD tofu house in New York However we notice the banchan 飯饌 portions are very very small and rather limited Other than that, service is good except this time around, the staff forgot my husband’s rice and we had to remind them Kind of strange because they brought mine in the push trolley together with the banchan But there was only one pot of rice

Probably still the best soondubu place in Singapore. A bit pricey but not stopping me from going back.

Sbcd is my favourite Korean restaurant. Their combo sets are value for money since we could share between 2 pax. Tried their prawn Tofu pancake, pan fried to perfection.

Restaurant charges for corn tea now, which is honestly pretty ridiculous considering it is one of the encouraged ways of enjoying the rice.

We were there on Sunday for an early lunch. So restaurant was relatively quiet. Staff was helpful generally. Food was good.

The soup is tasteless and the rest of the dishes is just so so only. The most disappointing part is one of the male waiter pushes all the side dish bowl with no manner at all just to place the food down from his cart but the female waiter is awesome.

New staff were obvious untrained. Staff did not clear side dishes despite multiple requests. Staff were not prompt in refilling side dishes

Service was wanting. We were charged for 5 persons’ worth of corn tea when there were only 3 persons. Attempts to contact the restaurant also went unanswered.

The service was fairly slow and hard to get attention of servers, we have to wave a lot, but it’s perhaps understandable as the place was huge. With that said, great ambience with ample privacy at each table and no loud noises.

Overall great service by the staff, we were seated very quick as i made a reservation. The soup was alright, not exactly super tasty and the pork could be less fatty. Grilled Chicken was super good, but opt without the sauce as it can drown out the taste. The side dishes were nice, Kimchi was tasty. Pricing is okay, we spent $30/pax with 1 soup and sharing 1 meat dish.
