Really good food and service, will definitely return! Was also patient since I was a little late.
The food was not worth the price. The tagliatalle tasted great but not the ravioli and the fried nutella. We sat at the counter top. While it was interesting to watch the chefs prepare the food, it was also disturbing to witness the master chef chiding the remaining crew. Was lovely of the master chef to prepare and give some of us customers a piece of complimentary sweet pumpkin ravioli to sample. Small restaurant, seats & tables were placed closed to each other. Limited menu choices overall.
Overrated place. Had 2 dishes of pasta and both were wet and soggy. Taste was also bland
Food had good flavors but the pastas were too salty. Service was hit and miss.
Service was helpful but food quality was poor, over priced and very slow. Under staffed and chefs need to coordinate themselves better.
Service ranged from stoic and unfriendly (the “maitre d”) to downright obstrusive. They asked us 3x if they could take away our plates when it was obvious we were still eating! Then when it came to ordering dessert, they suddenly said that actually we had to give up our table. That would’ve been fine if they had informed us early on. The food was just ok. In fact, the carbonara pasta we ordered was very limp and overcooked. Not al dente at all
Great menu of pasta dishes, caters well for vegetarians. Service great. The only downfall we felt was the quality of the desserts. Would still go back for the pasta though
Amazing food, great atmosphere and very nice wine!!! Good experience.
Definitely we would never go back to dine again. They don’t know how to server the guests and hospitality was terrible. When we make the reservation they didn’t inform us the next group will come so when we were there around 8pm they told us we have leave cos next guests are coming between 8:15 to 8:30pm. We just arrived at 6:30 pm with 7 pax the dining time even less then 2hrs, we have no place to go for the next as last night is the day before public holiday everywhere is full The way they ask to leave is not that polite, we even feel offended. Strongly suggest its no worth dining n spending money in this restaurant. We would never ever go back again
Great spot. Although it was full, it did not feel crowded. Great service.
Nice environment for catching up with friends. For pasta, I would recommend carbonara.
Good handmade pasta. The pasta had a bouncy texture. A good ambience too. Love the counterseats where you can watch the chef in action.
Pasta was very disappointing- over cooked and soggy mostly and had way too much sauce (almost like a stew). Not sure an Italian person would accept this.... service was great however.
Tasty fresh handmade pasta. Sit by the bar to get best views!
I haven’t enjoyed eating pasta in years. It’s always the last thing I would choose to order when I’m eating out. But with my first bite of the pesto pasta at Pasta Bar I finally remembered why I use to love pasta! The fact that this is all homemade pasta made a world of a difference. The flavors and texture with each bite was divine. I was with 4 other friends and we ordered 5 different pastas to share. And every dish was superb. The desserts were what would would want in a dessert - big, sweet and satisfying! I highly recommend Pasta Bar and I look forward to going back many more times!
Super great and unique flavorful homemade pasta. We will be back for more.
Quality pasta and good service. Will be back for more
The burrata was fantastic and the ravioli is really amazing. Was skeptical due to the prices but the standard of service and food has proved me wrong. If you have never had great pasta. You should try it. Will be back to try other pasta really soon.
Food came in reasonable portions, and was delicious! Service was on the slow side though, despite it being a cosy restaurant
Over hyped. We waited over an hour for our three pastas. The service was slow and I’m unattentive. The restaurant was super loud and they turned up the music at one point to perhaps drown out the noise. I felt like I had to yell throughout my dinner conversations. As fresh as the pasta was, there are certainly better pasta bars and better service in Singapore.
Really good pumpkin tortelli, recommended by the host. We were very pleased as the visit was for my husband's birthday, and it had a chilled, romantic, grown up atmosphere.
Food was great and service was warm. I recommend it.
Took over a week to reply to email. Imposed 1.5 hour limit but took ages to push pastas out. Would not return.
Ordered Gemelli and the pasta portion is big but the flavor was surprisingly bland. I can make a much tastier pesto sauce at home. Also ordered asparagus and broccolini. it's fresh but again seasoning was on the weak side.
Pasta was good. Al dente. But too much sauce. Needed bread to soak up the leftover sauce, which took effort for them to provide. The waitress were very nice, but the manager gave off an air of arrogance and better-than-thou attitude. Cocktails were average. Not bespoke neither authentic. Must repeat that pasta was good. Generally, lacked the Italian hospitality, but an easy fix if your food is good ;)
Nothing special. Over season dishes. Service was poor. Will not go again.
Food prices are quite high but decent dining experience with good quality food.
I love pastas, and this place doesn't disappoint. As with all eateries in Singapore, prices are on the higher side as we have to import every ingredient - unfortunately.
everything we ordered was great: wine, veal tongue, gemelli, carbonara and semifreddo. Bring friends along so you can share and try more dishes
Great pasta. Love the seats around their open kitchen. But need to note that not all pasta is available (the pumpkin tortelli wasn't when I dined there), so if you have something specific you wanted, please check in advance if that pasta was made for that day.
We had an unpleasent experience, won't recommend and go back.
Pasta was amazing and loved the ambience of this restaurant. Recommend the beef ragu!
The pasta is overrated but ambience is good. Hope it improves.
Worse experience ever. Made a reservation for 2. Got seated at a corner at the counter which had heat of the kitchen shooting towards the us. Got the order wrong. Never topped up or asked if we wanted more wine. Food was horrible tasting. Payed a premium for not finishing any of the food. Will never go back.
The truffle pasta was absolutely out of this world. And the smell of fresh basil while they were making the pesto was irresistible. One of the best meals we have had in Singapore!
Great pasta. Would have been good if there was a wider variety of starters available.
Chef was able to customise dish for me. Great customer experience.
high energy and cool looking restaurant. earnest service staff. overall quality of pasta was superb, sauces are a little underwhelming though. dining time much longer than I'd expect for a pasta restaurant. (2.25 hours). worthy of a visit. I'll drop by again after a few months to give the place some time to get their groove.
Grab the hot seats, literally. Seat at the counter, right in front of the boiling water & hot stove with the frying pans for a closeup & personal chat with the chefs to enjoy a fun & educational pasta experience.
Handmade pasta was good but the rabbit was too "herbal" for us. Desserts was ok and could be better.
