Highly recommend the xiaolong bao, wonton soup, pan-fried buns (sheng jian bao) and black sesame tangyuan! Dan dan noodles was average.

Best Xiao Long Bao in town - the skin was thin yet doesn't break and the seasoning was just right. The garlic chives, pork and shrimp pancake was nicely fried to a crisp, but the garlic chives had a rather "raw" taste. The homemade noodle was comfort food and reminded my husband of his late mother's cooking. The pork and bok choi boiled dumplings were quite good, but I prefer those at Jing Hua Xiao Chi. The sesame glutinous rice dumplings were excellent - skin was chewy without sticking to the teeth and the filling was not too sweet and oily. Great value for money and will be back to try more of their extensive menu. The dining experience would have been more comfortable if the waitresses minimised clanging noise when clearing the tables.

Good food at Hand in Hand Beijing Restaurant. Food portion is considered good at reasonable price. Guo Tie, Zhajiang Mian, Dry Fried French Bean are to our liking. Beijing Crispy Duck is a bit to the dry side but the Bing is warm and taste good. Our own concoction of vinegar, chili and the sweet sauce makes it less dry. ;p

Went during CNY period and the food quality dropped, they didn’t taste as good as previous visits. One of the staff showed attitude when we were asking her which type of tea is better/ more popular. And they didn’t give us fruits (it is complimentary as long as you dine in) but we saw tables around us all having it.

Not so much re. the restaurant, but more so with Quandoo. Both this booking/reservation, as well as the last one at 63Celcius (@Paragon) don't seem to work. The restaurants don't seem to be notified of the bookings. Something is broken somewhere...

Great food...... value for money. Clams / steam pranws / fried dumpling (Guo Tie) / Xiao Long Bao and the Mapo Doufu were all excellent and I highly recommend to try. Dou miao, the pork and spicy chicken were just average. So far have not disappoint every time I patronize them.

We did not need to wait long for the steamed dishes to be served. However, after we finished eating the first 5 dishes, we waited for 45 mins for the fried beehoon and sweet and sour pork. The beehoon was dry and bland; the sweet and sour pork was not as good as those we get from zi ca stalls. Overall, the handmade steamed dishes are better.

Food is good. Reasonable prices. However, more attention is needed to get food order right. Service recovery is less than satisfactory. Service can be improved.

Loved the crispy noodles and guo tie! U can return the peanuts and wet tissue and they won’t charge. Big portions for the noodles and definitely make a reservation a quandoo before going down as they were turning away customers on New Year’s Day

Food is well priced. Claypot rice has a good mix of salted fish, salted egg yolk, preserved sausages and chicken meat. They will mix your claypot rice with the right amount
