Hand in Hand Beijing Restaurant (Jln Besar)

Food wad nice but the environment was very noisy giving me a headache. We could not hear our conversation without raising our voices. There were two large tables besides us that were very rowdy. The restaurant should have placed them in a dining room.

Quite a long wait as they are full ( waited around half an hour before being brought upstairs). But food quite good.

I recommend the xiaolongbao, hezi (pork and chives pancake) and ludagun (red bean rice cake dessert).

Dining environment is simple yet pleasant. Service staff are friendly and constantly clearing the empty dishes. The boss even served a complimentary fruit platter at the end of the meal.

I had a wonderful experience here. Food was awesome and exceeds my expectation. Just that when it’s crowded, the food took quite some time to arrive.

Generally a good place to go for authentic Chinese food. The pan fried dumplings are really to die for.

Boss did not check bookings made after 5pm. Almost had to sit outside. Made booking 1hr in advance is consider late booking. They tried to turn over table fast and was we were quite stressed out towards the end of the meal. Food wise was great and there are many Japanese patrons. Surprised that it’s so crowded on a Tuesday night.

The servings are big so don’t be ready and order big size. Overall, food is good and will visit again

We enjoyed with our friends. We have some childlen, they were also enjoyed. Taste is very nice, and not spicy.

The food was still ok but wasn’t as good as the previous time we had.

The food was great! Found out that they have private rooms on the second floors and can accommodate small groups of 4 to 6pax per room! Will try to book that for our next family birthday celebration. AC is strong, shop is clean, you can return the peanuts and hand towels. Can use burpple beyond and they are very friendly staff. 4th visit since 1 Jan 2019 and I’ll keep coming back for their signature pan fried dumplings and hand made noodles!

My hubby really liked the xiao long bao. The ambience was pretty good too.

Consistently and hands down the best Xiaolongbao in Singapore! Regulars may like to become a member. New members are awarded 30 points upon joining, and awarded 1 point for every dollar of consumption. Redeem 100 points for a dish costing less than S$10.

Food was very nice and price very reasonable. Special mention is the xiao long bao which had very thin skin and can even beat dtf’s. Also had the sheng jian bao, cong you bing and shui jiao, all were very good
