I booked from the website. The seat was secured. The shop was crowded with so many customers. I ordered the iPad so it was easy to understand. It was a lot of fun to see the skill of the craftworker wrapping the Xiao long bao at the counter seat. The food was very delicious!
Very good 小笼包 & 锅贴! Boss told me they’re going to setup a factory to produce their dumplings and will be available at NTUC supermarket.
Small restaurant but all tables were fully reserved and saw some walk in being rejected. Delicious food but a tad too noisy as the restaurant was full. Service was excellent and prompt. Prices were reasonable
It's a good restaurant. Price is reasonable and services/ food very good . It's very near our office. All our staff said it's nice place to have company dinner.
The food was tasty and authentic, especially the Xiao long pao and pan fried dumplings. However, my friends and I, a company of 3 pax, didn't have a pleasant experience at the restaurant. We were ushered to a table for at least 6 pax upon arrival at the restaurant. While we were half way through our meals, we were suddenly asked to move to a table for 4 pax when another party of 4-5 pax arrived at the restaurant. This really caught us by surprise. I find this to be absolutely unacceptable as the need to change another a table was never conveyed to us before sitting us down and most importantly, we made the table reservation via quandoo. Doesn't this secure us a table to enjoy the dinner? Hence, we tried to reason out with the waitress but to no avail. After sensing that there was no room for further discussion, we were "forced" to accede to their "demand"! In summary, the food was good but there is a great room for improvement for the service rendered.
Made a booking via online but somehow or rather, this wasn't pick up by the restaurant. The service crew quickly apologised to us and quickly turn the negative situation around. They offered to set up additional table/chairs outdoor (and did that twice due to our request to shift to another location) and even throw in 10 % discount at the end of the day. The crew were friendly, service was prompt and efficient. The overall food were nice as well. Well done "Xiao Yang".
Operating hours start 10.30am but Quando allowed booking at 10am. We arrived 9.59am and was asked to wait 30mins. However so, staff was friendly and offered us the digital menu to choose our food items. We were allocated our table at 10.15am of which I was quite pleased. Food were made fresh and tasted great except the 生煎包 which tasted a little bland. Staffs were attentive and courteous. Price is reasonable, will definitely return for more.
we love this restaurant for freshly prepared and tasty foods. The owner is an admirable hard worker. But this time, one thing disappointing happened. When we got seated after getting wet with cold heavy rain, we were asked for hot tea. (usually, they never do this), so we thout it was served as a part of hospitality. Then finally the bill included the pot of tea. She should had mentioned us it before serving. After all, foods were delicious as usual and they keep tidy and clean the restaurant. So we definelely go back there.
Service is not good. We ordered one bowl of white rice (not in the electronic menu), the female server said will bring us but it never came (and was not charged). Barley was sold out so we asked for warm water for the pregnant lady, it never came too. We were billed the peanuts which we told them to remove right from start - lucky I checked the bill. Don't expect any service there.
Food was great! The xiao long bao and crab and fish maw are must try items. However, service could have been more thoughtful. We had a reservation for 2 persons. However, we were seated at a round table large enough for 8. When more customers came in, we were asked to move to a smaller table halfway thru our meal. While the staff did apologise, it was not a customer-friendly experience.
