Teochew Food is good. ..the braised duck , orh nee and promfret steam boat. The aircond in the bldg is very stong so bring a sweater
Overall food was good: Prawn Roll, Spinach with 3 kinds of mushroom, fish maw soup, steamed pomfret (fresh n nicely done), braised duck, fried mee sua and orh ni. Average price $28/person. Service was efficient n fast too. Highly recommended.
Authentic Teochew cuisine. Steam pomfret is delicious, braised pork belly with buns was yummy too. Sweetness of the orh nee is just nice. Will go again 👍🏻
We ordered the oyster omelette, braised duck, he-choh, prawns with veg, braised pork with bun n yam dessert. My dining companions felt the food was very good n we cleared all the plates of food. Like foodie terminators, we Will be back!
Great food, friendly and fast service. I highly recommend the Halibut with Hong Kong sauce. It is exceptionally good - the Halibut is flaky and taste like cod fish. I also ordered prawn roll and kong bak pau which were very good as well. And of course you should have Orh Nee for dessert :)
Great place good price. Not expensive great food and great place . Will bring my friends again. I like the ambience quiet , value for money
Nice food great place.will bring friend come again. Love it.
Food is great and tasty! Especially steam pomfret, braised duck and orh nee. Authentic teochew dishes 😋
My family and i visited a few time and were pretty satisfied but this visit was very disappointing. We ordered Chicken with onion n ginger which was overcooked. The spinach with 3 eggs was tasteless, pork jelly was hard, oyster omelette tasted kind of funny which I can't described. The mixed rolls, fried kwayteow, cold crab were ok. I asked the staff if the kitchen crews were changed but she said nope so I guess in was unlucky today. Will have to reconsider whether will wr patronise again.
The food is good. The must tries are Steamed Halibut, Stir Fried Kailan with Garlic, Fried Kwa Teow with Chai Poh, and the Fragrant Flame Pork.
The food is of good quality . I have tried 6 dishes. My favourite dishes are the promfret fish soup , the braised duck and the fried oyster egg. The yam paste (orh Nee) is also good too!
Overall, the experience fragment garden was good. The dishes were excellent as recommended by others, especially the wrapped sea cucumber, yam paste and the steam halibut.
Wonderful as usual. Nice place for family meals. Not so nice ambience, but still comfortable with the aircon
The food is good and tasty. The place is air condition, very spacious on weekends and parking is convenient. The price is reasonable for a restaurant.
Good and authentic teochew food. Must try their 虾枣, crispy and flavourful. We ordered a second plate as everyone loves it. The traditional pork jelly is good too, even my picky dad likes it.
The food in this restaurant is delicious and cheap. Remember to book a table on the weekends earlier to make sure that you have a space.
Food and Service are good. Will go back to try other dishes like the curry fish and duck.. Super love the Steamed Chicken with Lotus Seeds
Food was simple and average. Crayfish cost $72 for a plate of 4 which I felt was way too expensive. There are plenty of better food around.
Always a very satisfying family meal here. The cold crabs when in season are delightful. Otherwise the flaming pork cutlet, spinach with century egg, or jian and so many well done teochew delights!
The staff was efficient and attentive to our needs. The food was served promptly and tasty. There is sufficient parking available in the building for drivers as well.
The food was sublime. It is a jewel to be discovered in the heartlands! I would highly recommend the teochew cold crab and pork belly.
Value for money authentic teochew fare with an old world charm. Despite the not so impressive location, I am definitely going to revisit soon. Definitely worth it.
Most of their dishes we tried were quite good and authentic, it was served to us quite fast too. Overall was good though would prefer a bit more choices on their meat dishes.
Great Foood. Love the seacumber. Shrimp paste fried wings were light and crispy though. The service is good. I will go back there again. IT is not too expensive place to eat. Family orientated
Good service and great food especially liked the teochew style steamed halibut, prawn roll, flaming pork, oyster egg omelette and orh nee! You should try!
Good food. Service was acceptable. Ambience is fair only...in an old shopping centre. Comfortable but very simple. Nice place to go for family meals but not the place to go to for a date with the fussy girlfriend.😂
Food was excellent and the service staff to customer ratio was good. Will def go back again. Better if they allowed BYO or at least no corkage for first bot of wine
Overall the food is up to my expectations, the only disappointment is the waiting time of just a plate of mee goreng, it only came after we finished all our dishes and despite our several reminder! The reason given by one of the staff is over crowded but frying a plate of mee need longer time than other dishes, I really cannot accept this explanation.
spacious area for family meals. wont feel cramp. Also the dishes are serving fast and hot, does not need to wait too long for the dishes. Overall a great place to have a great family dinner.
Service was prompt and good. Food Menu selection Choices was many and wide. Price was reasonable though slightly on a higher side. Overall we enjoyed our food and fellowship there.
Best Teochew braised duck I've had. The steamed pomfret is fresh with a tangy soup. Another great dish was the Teochew chye poh kuay teow.
Quality yet affordable teochew dishes. Will definitely return again! Great place for gatherings with family and friends. The yam paste dessert is a must !
Food are fairly good. Service still need room of improvement. Ambience is good. Will come back to try others food again and also recommend to friends
Value for money place for Teochew cuisine. Keep it up! A good selection of food and yummy Orh Nee Dessert! Thumbs up! Suitable for all ages!
Friendly staff, food was great and authentic, pricing wise can be slightly ex if you order all their signature dishes. We had 6 dishes, bill came up to $300.80.
Good foods at reasonable price. Location of restaurant not very convenient and difficult to find. Parking also expensive. Nevertheless recommended for those with taste for good foods at reasonable price.
My third trip in 3 months. Fantastic teochew food, service , price. Parking ample. They helped us with the birthday cake. My familys current favourite joint. Please support this place.
Very delicious and authentic Teo Chew food. Especially the Teo chew Steam pomfret very nice and fresh and the yam paste is very nice and not too sweet... Braised duck and the fried broccoli with garlic also very tasty. Thumb up :)
Food is average . Braised duck is not as good as ah Seng chomp chomp. service is alright .yam paste has met expectations . Not the place to bring if you have overseas guests
Authentic and great food. Those who want great tasting teochew should not pass on this restaurant. Very old school and the dessert is great especially the yam.
