Very authentic Chinese cuisine restaurant. Would have been perfect if there's more teochew dishes as the restaurant is known for. Nonetheless, still a good restaurant for large group of minimum 6 to truly enjoy the variety. Certainly a place for family style dining. Recommend for revisits.
First visit there for Mother's Day dinner. All guests said food was yums especially 87 year old Mum who enjoyed the pork belly most. Good service too. Will return
Food was excellent at an afforatable price. Suitable for family gathering. Food was excellent at an afforatable price. Suitable for family gathering. Food was excellent at an afforatable price. Suitable for family gathering.
definitely have to order the steam pomfret, large and juicy with the right amount of soup. decently priced place as well due to the cheap rent of the location.
Food is yummy, but the place is too cold and the close very earlier. Last order is 9pm and the shopping mall close at 10pm.
The waitress was quite rude when I informed her, before she was going to help to spilt the Kway teow into individual bowls. As she did not seem to catch my request, i repeated and was refuted that she has already place the dish on the table and reluctantly took it up and away to split individually. Service level not up to expectation since there is service charge on the bill.
Teochew food was good and decidedly authentic. Reasonably priced but situated in a ulu shopping centre with nothing much else. "Al fresco" zichar style dining in an open atrium under the roof was quite charming.
Great food and good service. Love the fish soup and the "orh nee". would certainly go back, this time with bigger group so can order more dishes
Excellent authentic Teochew cuisine. Every dish we ordered was so delicious. Overall good service and good value for money. Recommend for family and friends get together.
Overall food quality is good and the chillies paste is great. Could do better with serving plain cold water. Atmosphere and environment is quite relaxing.
No frills old school kind of Chinese restaurant located in an old shopping centre. Food was above average and worth going back for. Price of food was reasonable.
Generally, the service was good albeit 2 of my guest were late and we were not urged to start the dinner. The delivery of the food was timely.
Traditional Teochew restaurant serving freaky authentic Teochew dishes like cold crab and cold pork. The best Teochew dish is the orh ni with the shallots which you can't get anywhere else anymore. (or rather I've not found one)!
Food was decent, but service needs a lot of work. The lacklustre and nonchalant service is distasteful, making customers not wanting to return again. I suggest the owner make a trip to a fellow Teochew restaurants serving similar food, such as Swa Garden Restaurant at Macpherson, to experience their service.
Resercation was done without a hitch. Table was already prepared before arrival. Good food that are good value for money. Will definitely return for more in future!
Super good authentic Teochew cuisine. Was there for my dad's birthday dinner and everyone love it. Price was reasonable and portion was good. Will definitely visit again!
Good and tasty food. Pricing is not too bad for a table of 10. Try the duck, the steam promfet which was very fresh and delicious.
went during the CNY period. Overall food was good. Service average. Was not told during reservation about 15% CNY surcharge on total bill until we arrived and place our orders.
Good place for a big gathering of people. Lots of parking. Food is (I think) traditional Teochew fare, and its tasty. Service is quite prompt.
The staff were attentive and very friendly, lovely authentic teochew food! You can't go wrong with the staff's recommendations. Personal favourite has to be the chilled pork jelly. There's a specific chilli that comes with almost every dish!
Food serve are fresh and delicious, nostalgic place, excellent service provided by al staff and friendly boss who is willing to serve you and even teaches u to mix the yam paste thoroughly. Must order their dessert yam paste
Food was yummy and portion of food was just right for our table. . Love the arrangement on table booking whereby your name and MP is place on the reserve table.
The food was pretty good. Teochew cuisine. Pretty affordable. The fried white kway teow was nice. The braised goose sauce was also decent. Saw fish soup but didn't get to try. Will try that next time.
Food is generally good, old school Chinese food brings back memories. Also managed to cater vegetarian for one. Managed to try some rarely found dishes.
Good food, and excellent service. The food is old-school and family friendly. Good to bring old folks. The place reminds you of 70s Singapore. Worth a try!
Authentic tasty teochew fare without crazy over the top prices and fairly quick service.
does not have to wait too long after ordering as the food serving time is fast. Food quality wise was good except that i find their claypot curry fishhead the coconut milk taste is too thick and very limited veggie. Will probably try their assam fishhead next time round. Overall a satisfying sunday evening dinner.
the best yam paste i have had. the look of the restauant doesnt give the food justice. waitresses are helpful. the crowd is a handful. good to book early. pretty full both times ive been there
Food are delicious and portions are quite generous too. The service are very prompt. Will be back even thou the distance is far. Highly recommend to try
One if the best Teochew cuisine in Singapore. Great food, good prices, makes up for the lack in ambience... Love the yam ring and yam paste desert. Most authentic tasting.
Good food and reasonable price with air con. Didn't have to wait long for food although it is crowded. It's like local tzi char with air conditioning and wines available for order too. Will definitely go back again!
Tucked in the corner of an old mall, this restaurant serves consistently delicious Teochew dishes every time! The oyster omelette and braised cabbage are mouthwatering!
A good variety of teochew spread in the menu. Food was served very soon after order but unfortunately our request for cut red chillies had to be repeated 3 times before it was finally brought to our table.
Very good food with great service. Love the chilli they give!
Great place , great enviroment quiet. Good meeting place . Nice simple food value for money. Bought my friends they love it will come again
Great food; we like the cold crab, steam fish, braised duck, cai Po Kwei tiao, and prawn balls. service were fast and courteous and reasonable prices.
really good food value for money. would visit it again.
Just as good as the first time I tried it. This time we tried different dishes and all tasted were up to expectation for authentic teochew food.
