Very classy ambience though it felt a bit dark but food was overall quite okay. They even helped us to pack the complimentary birthday cake back home. Very hospitable staffs!
Really fantastic spread and value for money with the $68 nett for 2 promotion now. I was really impressed with the variety of food available.
Great food at the price point. Quality > quantity! Fresh seafood as well
Great food and lovely atmosphere. Staff were friendly and attentive.
I enjoyed my dining experience very, very much! The restaurant serves a decent spread of different types of cuisines, ranging from cold seafood to different types of Asian delectables. I particular liked the fresh cold crayfish and prawns, as well as the different protein meat options such as roasted beef, roast chicken, salmon etc. Desserts was sweetly alluring as well such as the brownie! Perhaps what made this simple food experience memorable is because of the attentive and kind gesture by two of the restaurants servers - one being a petite girl name Yi Fei(?) who ran after us upon seeing that our table is empty, just so we get to have the birthday cake for my partner. The other being the more senior staff, an Indian man (I’m sorry I didn’t get your name!) who gestured is to go back to our seats and continue eating and enjoying the experience. That is impeccable thought and service. Thank you!
Food and ambience is pretty good. But there are a lot of fillers (one huge pot of Jasmine Rice and Watercress soup took the space of 3 pots). Western had a individual huge pots of medley of Vegetables(brocolli), glazed carrot (boiled carrot), roasted pumpkin and boiled corn on cob. Some food ran out and took more than half hour to be replenished and some was just removed from the counter. Even the hot water dispenser ran out of water and wasn’t replenished. Recommended to come early and don’t come after 8pm as some item may not be as available.
The hotel itself is a tad ulu, you most likely will have to take a bus to the hotel. The spread itself is lacking, shockingly, when we arrived at 6+, we noticed there wasn't any sashimi bar and was told that they were unavailable for the day. Fortunately, a small portion of it was brought out but quickly taken by the fellow patrons. There are definitely better buffet spreads available while also conveniently located.
Consisting of the western roast beef, the Chinese grilled chicken, pork ribs, Japanese sushi, Indian curries and local delights like Hokkien mee, fried rice and laksa, there is bound to be something for everyone. Not to mention that selection of cakes one can pick from to go with the much needed meal ending coffee.
There was a really good range of items for a buffet! I expected something atypical, but was surprised with less commonly seen items such as Indian food, foie gras, Hokkien mee (really good!), risotto & differently flavoured ice teas! Would definitely want to re-visit.
I like the spread there. Meats were good. Maybe a little grouse on seafood section there, I didn’t find the prawns particularly fresh, no oysters either. Desserts selection was decent & tasted fine. A good place to go when there’s promo. Layout of the tables were a little awkward though.
