Service was great. Very authentic Korean resturant. The boss and staff are all Koreans. Meat were marinated well. Meat were grilled nicely with the use of charcoal. Would patronise again!

The service was excellent, as waiting times were short, and they were even willing to hold my table even though I was running late. However, perhaps they could include items like 1 rice per person in the buffet price, but that is a non-issue as the side dishes are free flow. Great experience overall!

We had booked last minute using quandoo. But the restaurant said it’s not reflected in their system and we could only wait. After a long time, they ushered us to a table for family (although it’s only the 2 of us). Unfortunately it was gas grill, not charcoal as what we expected. We did ask if we could move to another table that we saw was empty. But they said it will take us another 40 mins of waiting. Too bad.

Always love Don Dae Bak for its charcoal BBQ. Waiting time for food to arrive is a little slow as the restaurant was understandably understaffed. But overall, great service with a smile as always! Will be back!

Food is good. Staff are super in serving. However it took a bit longer to get their attention since they are very short of staff. I will go in smaller group next time in order to take the table using charcoal to bbq.

It was a busy Sunday afternoon. Thus service wasnt that awesome. I asked for some condiments but it never came. I think I asked from the boss. So minus points for that. Food wise, it's good and I'll definitely be back for more rounds.

Food and drinks and atmosphere was amazing as usual, it’s my fourth of fifth time here this year so I guess that says how good this place is 😂 But I waited super long this time BUT the boss is really amazing and gave us free drinks :’)

Service was a little slow and the quality of food isn’t as great as what everyone makes it out to be. The kimchi pancake was especially a disappointment. Way too starchy and we couldn’t even taste the kimchi in it. It just tasted like flour.

Food was good - especially the pork belly and chicken. Didnt quite like the beef brisket though. Appetizers and egg were also free flow and delicious. Food however does take a while to cook as they use charcoal but that was no problem for us. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. Our charcoal was replaced timely and bbq plate was also changed frequently which was great. I really appreciated the service and the politeness, and I did not experience the negativity of what was mentioned in other reviews. Also the best thing was that GST was absorbed so there was just a 10% serviceBe sure to make a reservation before going down, especially on Friday nights.

Had the buffet dinner option. The top ups of the banchan was quick and the Pork collar is my fav pick for re-ordering as well as the beef! The only downside is the noise level as voices of diners bounces around the interior and makes communication a challenge at the table itself. I will still strongly recommend people to go for the food!
