We enjoyed the food and the ambience at Alati and will be back for more. Will definitely recommend the restaurant to our friends who love Greek cuisine.
Nice ambience, nicely decorated to give the Greek feel (if you are a Singaporean). Food is delectable, but dessert not too much to our liking. Service is good. Would go back again.
the salt baked fish, calamari and feta in filo pastry are excellent. Service is good, atmosphere is good. we had a really good meal yet the food is light and healthy
Food is fantastic! Atmosphere is great! A definite must go to for all seafood lovers, even though you may not be a Greek food lover per se (they are hard to come by), you will definitely enjoy this one. The seafood is as fresh as it gets, all air flown from Greece!! Will definitely be back.
We had a good time at the restaurant. Reservations is definitely required as it was packed during lunch time. The doner was tad salty and hard. The rest of the meat platter was good.
Overpriced for the quality and size of the portion. For the cost of the dishes I can get better tasting food and bigger portions elsewhere that is equivalent in location and atmosphere
We went to Alati for lunch. It has a nice and chill ambience, and attentive service staff. Among the 3 of us, we had the cucumber and feta cheese salad (the feta was really good), grilled squid (this was done perfectly), grilled sardines (a little too fishy for me, personally, but my friends liked them), a dip and the grilled meat platter for 2 ( that came with chicken souvlaki, lamb cutlets - these were done perfectly, and meat pattie). We had no room for dessert (which was a shame) but had coffee (which was a bit bitter and over-roasted). We will go back again as overall it was a good experience and we enjoyed our meal.
Second time there and the experience was just as brilliant as the first time. Service and food was once again very good. Will be back again very soon.
Highly recommended restuarant - the food is authentic and even though the restuarant was busy the stsff was very attentive to our needs. Thank you
Food and service were lovely! Our waitress was very helpful with our wine selection. I would recommend the lobster pasta and the donuts for dessert!
Great food and service, will most definitely will be coming back very soon to this most amazing restaurant that serves divine Greek food like the one I have at home
Services were excellent and all dishes were really delicious. Will defintelly go back again and try other dishes on the menu. Highly recommended for smaller groups or romantic dates.
At last, multiple Greek restaurants in Singapore! Great menu, great food, great service and love the decor. Will be returning repeatedly to work through the menu.
I loved everything about Alati - the service, food, ambience, drinks etc. White washed walls and interestingly laid out tables with splashes of blue really gave it a Greek feel. The service was lovely, and the food superb. There were four of us and we shared three entrees and three main courses. We had no room for dessert, however they brought out a complimentary baklava and a chocolate dessert with a candle in it as it was one of our table's birthday. To start with, the lovely Dakos salad which transported me back to the one I had last year in Paros. The other entrees were fyllo-wrapped feta (with honey) - crispy on the outside and soft and gooey in the middle, and the delicious taramosalata with pita bread (charged extra). For mains grilled fish, Mousaka and the Goronopolou - slow-roased crispy pork shoulder. The food was authentic and so delicious - We had a couple of bottles of wine priced at around $75 each. It wasn't cheap but it didn't matter - it was a wonderful night and if you enjoy good, authentic Greek food then I thoroughly recommend Alati. Yamas!
Overall a pleasant and enjoyable dining experience; food was delightful and service was impeccable, will recommend to anyone looking for a unique cuisine to try.
Dips were good with wines. We were not too familiar with Greek food but we had good recommendations from the restaurant. Nice Interior; white and clean. Good service.
Good ambeience, good food and very easy reservation process through Quandoo. Quantity of portion is also perfect. We really enjoyed our experience at the place
The restaurant was very nicely decorated and reminded me of my trip to Mykonos. Food wise, the dips and pita is not to be missed. The salad of tomatoes, cucumber, olives and feta is not to be missed too. Grilled sea bass was pretty good, however due to the small fish that was available we didn't get to try the salt baked variety.
New restaurant with deco reminding me of Greece. However, seats were a bit cramp, particularly the two sweaters. Food was decent, would recommend the phyllo wrapped feta.
Good was fantastic and the decor is nice! Staff was patient and took time to explain the dishes to us. Will come back to try other dishes!
It's my second time at Alati. Excellent greek food (especially the salt baked fish!), lovely service and homely ambience. Highly recommended and definitely heading back again.
fantastic food, great atmosphere and fab service definitely recommended if you love authentic Greek food.
Delicious food, lovely decor. It was a busy Friday night with most tables taken, service was good, but could have been more attentive as we needed to ask for another round of drinks and getting water refills. Would recommend to friends to try 'Alati'.
Food, service, ambience is great. enjoyable. will come back again.
Delicious food. Price a little bit too expensive. Excellent service. Decoration is simple but represents Greece. Room very clean. A little bit noisy when full of people probably due the layouts.
Nice setting, not quite sure of the cuisine though - lamb chops with fries (chips ) is not what I call Greek!. Lacks attitude and soul, which is always the case in any restaurant in Singapore. The big question is, would I recommend to friends or go back? The answer, maybe!
Service was good. Set lunch was very average. Pork was dry, chicken was OK. However, we saw dishes which another table had ordered (octopus and beef), which looked quite good. Perhaps the ala carte menu is better. Pity though, as I always feel restaurants should try to do a better set lunch to entice diners to come back for dinner another time. Unlikely to go back though.
A great Restaurant, albeit the noise levels of a 'full house' were extremely high & to the point of annoying, the night we were there. Would go back. The fixed price Lunch Menus also look worthy of exploring as well.
Really good food and Greece wine. We had a great night at Alati. The only thing we feel uncomfortable is there was a bit noise in the restaurant. I think the problem is the design of the roof. We needed to talk really loud, otherwise we can't hear each other.
Beautifully laid out restaurant. The menu was just the right size and had something for everyone. The food was nice but not great. Sadly it was really let down by the service. We were constantly out of water and had to call staff right at the back of the restaurant for service. They also got our bill wrong which luckily we noticed and changed. I wouldn't rush back or say it is a must go which is a shame.
It was our first time at the restaurant. Food was fabulous, decor was authentically Greek, wine was lovely and the service was good. Would definitely be heading there again, very soon.
Nice ambience and food especially the grilled octopus. A little pricey though. Ordered a piece of cake over the phone to surprise my colleague who's celebrating her birthday but it wasn't served n I forgot about it.
My favourite Greek restaurant in Singapore! Loved the interior decor, and the fresh fish imported directly from Greece 3 times a week! Loved the Dakos and the salt-baked fish!
Second time there - had the skewered chicken and mousaka again. Food was consistent and fantastic. Also tried the dips and pita bread! Yums.! Truly authentic.
One of our favorite restaurants. Excellent fresh Greek food ( fish cooked in salt is delicious), friendly staff and bright ambience. There is only one thing that could make this place better and that would be to add everyone's favorite Greek dessert, baklava, to the menu.
Warm, friendly and attentive staff. Comfortable ambience - definitely had a Greek feel to it. Food was generally okay. Ordered the doughnuts for dessert which we found rather underwhelming but this could just be personal preference. An enjoyable evening nonetheless.
The ambiance was as lovely if not better as the previous reviews. The greek salad, dips, and pita were superb and I highly recommend these. The lamb, moussaka and pork were sinfully good. The staff was attentive, friendly and very helpful.
Great mezzes! Love the salads. Dellcious octopus and sundries tomato dip that came w the bread is just great. Environment looks a little stark. Request for the booth seats if there's a choice. Found the dining chairs a little uncomfortable.
Excellent food and excellent service from the moment we were sat down until we left. Has been consistently good at my 4th visit to Alati. Will keep going back.
Delicious! Fresh ingredients, well seasoned and cooked. Decor also felt authentic. Would highly recommend the Tzatziki and warm Pita, along with the Greek salad and grilled Octopus!
